I'd been at Home Depot for 2 hours and 7 minutes (more on that later - Home Depot Review). Soaked to the bone, hair dripping water from the rain, but with a wild hair to take the advice of Marvin (Home Depot associate). Exterior Do you know where JP's is? Iinside joke - Marvin @ HD asked, Saunders Landscape Services asked, and Saunders Landscape Supply asked. Apparently, JP's Spirits (liquor store) is a well-known landmark around here. I knew the general area, but didn't know the name of the liquor store - and I felt a bit like two-headed Hed because of it. So .. for those folks who don't know were JP's is located, Saunders is located on Hwy 17 (aka Glynn Ave), if traveling south, they're after Cypress Mill Rd, but before the the causeway. When you see Friendly Express, jam on your brakes and turn right because it's the next driveway. (Just kidding about jamming on brakes, there are 2 driveways - so you're fine if you miss the first one - lol.) Parking is upfront, but a bit come-as-you-will, but one of the super helpful employees will point / assist. Interior The 'office' is a tiny shed type structure, but it's modern, clean, organized and I swear the AC is cooler than a polar bear's toenails. I was hugging myself to keep warm towards the end of the transaction. Added bonus - they have samples of the different size stone if you don't feel like walking. Price / Value Based on my comparison / purchases - prices are considerably cheaper than Lowe's and Home Depot. Customer Service When I called the landscape services number (the only Google listing), the phone representative was funny, charming and helpful. When I called the number she provided (landscape supply), I spoke to Sara Saunders - and when I tell you she provided some of the best customer service I've had in YEARS. Not only did she offer to stay past closing (even when I insisted that I couldn't ask her to do that). She was outside assisting her coworkers when I arrived. Sarah Saunders Superstar - how do ya like that illeteration?! Once she walked over and introduced herself, we walked around the 'show yard' a bit, and that's when I fell in love with their offerings. She also told me a bit about their 'origin story' and it's quite impressive - be sure to ask. Excellent customer service ... Excellent prices = Excellent Overall! Other Ok ... so ... this place has some unique, beautiful offerings. See photos. Frankly, I wrote this review so I could show off the stones / inventory. Just kidding - I wrote it because I was blown away by customer service. The only negative thing I can say is that if I lived here, I would surely go broke coming back here to by stones, gravel, rocks, etc that I don't truly need. Lol. Highly recommend!!!

Initially they said they didn't have sunflowers, but before I could end the call, they said, "Oh! We found some!" Then there was a bit of weirdness during my initial phone call Me: Ok. So do I need to tell you the approximate size or my budget? Because I don't know . . . FB: Hold on! I was going to ask you about that - if you'll give me a minute. (sounding exasperated) Long pause - then after about 90 seconds of silence . . . Me: Are you still there? FB: Yes. I was waiting on you to tell me your budget. Me: (Sigh) I don't really have a budget - I've never really purchased flowers other than roses and plants. Can I tell you the approximate size I'm wanting and you tell me the cost? FB: Yes. Me: I'm thinking 10 - 12 inches - about the size of basketball . . . FB: I don't know what size a basketball is. Me: What? You've never seen a basketball?! FB: Well - yes I've seen one but I don't know how many inches it is. Me: Well neither do I ma'am. I only referenced a basketball so that YOU have a visual of the approximate size I'd like it to be. Because of all this unproductive back and forth - I actually made it to their parking lot while still on the phone with them. Then when I entered the store: 1) Instead of half a dozen - they only had 3 sunflowers and the had the ones with yellow centers, not brown centers 2) I wanted yellow with white accents and they keep trying to force these burgundy and orange accent flowers on me and when I explained that these colors made it look more like a Autumn table center piece - than a birthday / get well basket, the floral designer caught an attitude with me. Actually tried to convince me that table center pieces are rectangular or oblong - never round. She really needs to stay in the back because she's very pushy, pompous and unfriendly. The flowers were lovely and looked beautiful for a long time. And the woman who actually waited on me was kind and had lots of encouraging things to say and gave me some great advice regarding my Mother and her care. 4 stars for flowers, 5 stars for interaction at checkout, 2 stars for the crazy phone call and 0 stars for pushy angry floral designer averages out to 3 stars which equals A-Ok on Yelp.
