Overall - I was happy with my arrangement - but the actual floral designer is quite the diva. My Mother loves sunflowers - so I wanted a half dozen arrangement for her birthday and to brighten her hospital room. Initially they said they didn't have sunflowers, but before I could end the call, they said, "Oh! We found some!" Then there was a bit of weirdness during my initial phone call Me: Ok. So do I need to tell you the approximate size or my budget? Because I don't know . . . FB: Hold on! I was going to ask you about that - if you'll give me a minute. (sounding exasperated) Long pause - then after about 90 seconds of silence . . . Me: Are you still there? FB: Yes. I was waiting on you to tell me your budget. Me: (Sigh) I don't really have a budget - I've never really purchased flowers other than roses and plants. Can I tell you the approximate size I'm wanting and you tell me the cost? FB: Yes. Me: I'm thinking 10 - 12 inches - about the size of basketball . . . FB: I don't know what size a basketball is. Me: What? You've never seen a basketball?! FB: Well - yes I've seen one but I don't know how many inches it is. Me: Well neither do I ma'am. I only referenced a basketball so that YOU have a visual of the approximate size I'd like it to be. Because of all this unproductive back and forth - I actually made it to their parking lot while still on the phone with them. Then when I entered the store: 1) Instead of half a dozen - they only had 3 sunflowers and the had the ones with yellow centers, not brown centers 2) I wanted yellow with white accents and they keep trying to force these burgundy and orange accent flowers on me and when I explained that these colors made it look more like a Autumn table center piece - than a birthday / get well basket, the floral designer caught an attitude with me. Actually tried to convince me that table center pieces are rectangular or oblong - never round. She really needs to stay in the back because she's very pushy, pompous and unfriendly. The flowers were lovely and looked beautiful for a long time. And the woman who actually waited on me was kind and had lots of encouraging things to say and gave me some great advice regarding my Mother and her care. 4 stars for flowers, 5 stars for interaction at checkout, 2 stars for the crazy phone call and 0 stars for pushy angry floral designer averages out to 3 stars which equals A-Ok on Yelp. read more

I spent $80 for flowers for my daughter and it had 4 gerber daisys some white daisys and some leatherleaf It wasnt even arranged nicely. If i could post the picture i would. It was embarrassing to be perfectly honest. read more

I order flowers to be sent to my mom at least once a month. I have tried numerous flower shops and online delivery services. However, none of them remotely compare to the quality of product and timeliness of delivery that I have received every time from The Flower Basket. The salesperson Pat has unfailingly greeted me when I come through the door with a smile and a good morning. The flowers are always beautifully arranged, come in a quality vase, and last for what seems like forever. My mom is in awe of how beautiful the flowers are when they arrive. I've used the flower basket at least a few times each year with happy results from the recipient (mom). She says the flowers are always pretty. But this time I was visiting and the flowers were delivered a week after the promised delivery date while I was there. The internet site didn't send my order to them till a week later. My parents were vacationing down south when I called these folks. I took a chance on them seeing that their services got a 5 star on Yelp with 2 previous reviews. I called to order flowers for my mother as it was her birthday and I wanted something nice for her. I spoke with Linda (I think that was her name) and she was very pleasant. I really had no idea what I was ordering (yup typical male I suppose). When I did arrive to see my mom later that night (traveling to see them) I was happy to see how happy she was. The flowers looked great. I'd definitely suggest using them. read more

Had an "emergency" in that my grandmother's funeral arrangements were made after everyone had closed on Saturday for the following Monday at 11 AM! I called The Flower Basket at 8:45 that morning and pleaded my case. The ladies assured me they would make it happen. Even though I was out of town they didn't try to gouge, upcharge, short me, send crappy flowers... They did exactly.. no WAY MORE than I expected and I sincerely appreciate it. read more

We have used the flower basket for several years but was recently terribly disappointed. We order a $100 spray for my sister in law's memorial service picking out the one we wanted from their pictures. It was to be pink and white carnations. We were shocked when we saw it. It looked awful with no more than 10 white carnations and then these horrible looking daisies sparsely placed around the spray with most of them drooping down. No pink carnations at all! It was embarrassing to have our name on the card. I called the shop and told them it must have been a mistake but all the lady kept saying was "I'm sorry." No other explanation or apology. I wish I could post a picture of it. The picture would tell the story. Will never use them again. Too bad...they used to be so good. read more
