Called at last minute for Saturday delivery and they did amazing job. Asked for purple arrangement for 16th Birthday it was stunning. Called in the morning delivered by 2:00pm! Would use this florist again! It may be a little pricey but the great service & product are worth it. The team at Edwards helped create a floral arrangement to commemorate the life of a young highschool student who passed prematurely and was committed to entering the armed forces. In this floral arrangement, they illustrated this young man's patriotism with a beautiful USA color palette but also still very abstract. The arrangement did not have a tight/stiff floristy feel. It was spectacular in execution. I've also seen some of their arrangements for the tour of homes on SSI and they too are exceedingly beautiful. read more

Edward on St. Simons does magnificent work! I planned a 70th Birthday dinner for my mother at The Cloister Wine Cellar. Being from New York, I was not able to see the room before the event and this made it nerve wracking to plan for the floral arrangements. From the first call with Edward, my anxieties were put to rest. Edward was familiar with the room and gave me expert advice on how to best decorate the 17 foot long table. I needed only to give him a sense of the color scheme that I envisioned and he did the rest! His work was absolutely fabulous and fit my budget perfectly. My mother is an avid gardener and I'd even say a bit of a flower snob (the birthday dinner theme was garden chic- if that's any indication). When she walked into the room, the flowers took her breath away. The best part: because Edward recommended many smaller arrangements, everyone was able to bring one back to their room to enjoy for the rest of the trip. I have a December birthday, which my husband always struggles with. He happened into Edwards and brought home the most beautiful birthday Christmas tree imaginable! A tabletop tree, with personal ornaments, that the team at Edwards (unexpectantly..:) wired on to the tree for him. They have always delivered top shelf flower arrangements for any occasion (best quality flowers on the island), but this little tree made my heart sing. I don't think I have encountered any one as rude as Edward of Edwards florists. I called to get pricing because it had been three weeks since I initially filled out the form on line with no response. Edward came on the phone and said when is your date? Then proceeds to say "we don't do Sunday weddings" and HUNG UP ON ME with out me getting another word out. All I can say is WOW. Good luck with your business if that is how you treat potential customers. I am spending an enormous amount on floral and happy to give the business to someone who deserves it. read more

We had heard great things about Edward from our photographer and online so we decided to choose them to do our flowers for our wedding. They told our venue they were available and that we were booked in. I then reached out to them to start talking about what we wanted and I never heard anything back. Today, I received an email from our venue saying that Edward is no longer "willing" to do our wedding. Now we are left searching for another florist. That is unreliable customer service.
