I love this place…read more I can't believe they don't have more Yelp reviews. Like many of the Google reviewers have said - this is NOT a super structured, corporate type nursery. That can make it feel daunting - but I feel very strongly that if you stop in - you'll be pleasantly surprised. In some areas - the plants and foliage are so dense that you can't see the sky above you. I felt like I was in lush, tropical jungle as I explored. Lol. And they must have some weird magical spell cast over the place because the times that I visited, I wasn't attacked by mosquitos or gnats - and insects like that typically attack and swarm me the second I step outdoors. The staff is always helpful without being pushy or obnoxious (or condescending about your lack of plant knowledge - lol). They've been in business since I was a little girl - so that, in and of itself, is an earmark of how awesome they are. It's great to have DECADES of knowledge at your disposal. Another plus - they actually answer their phones! The last time I called - I was looking for some red tips. Apparently no one in Georgia has them anymore - but the nurseries I visited in Marietta (where I currently live) had never even heard of them. Love. Love. Love. Highly recommend.

The palms were planted in a bed fairly close to the marsh. Garrett was excellent! He advised us on where it was best to plant them due to the proximity to the marsh. They cleaned up the street and were careful not to damage our yard. We are very pleased and would highly recommend!

We hired Saunders to do some landscaping for us. We had two spots in our back yard where they put…read moredown some sod that have caused me to write this review. The sod didn't live more than a month. Obviously when you put down new sod it needs plenty of water which our grass gets because we have a well and a sprinkler system. When we asked Jimmy to come and look at the sod he told us it looked like it didn't get enough water! On the off days that sprinklers didn't run we watered the sod so I'm not buying the no water theory! Our local garden center and our lawn spraying company both agreed that laying sod in the summer is not the time of year it should be done. Saunders offered no compensation, no offer to replace the sod when the weather. If they put down fifty pieces of sod it was a lot. How much could that have cost them to replace it? Saunders used to have our lawn service business but I had no choice but to cancel it, for obvious reasons.
