We hired Saunders to do some landscaping for us. We had two spots in our back yard where they put down some sod that have caused me to write this review. The sod didn't live more than a month.
Obviously when you put down new sod it needs plenty of water which our grass gets because we have a well and a sprinkler system.
When we asked Jimmy to come and look at the sod he told us it looked like it didn't get enough water! On the off days that sprinklers didn't run we watered the sod so I'm not buying the no water theory!
Our local garden center and our lawn spraying company both agreed that laying sod in the summer is not the time of year it should be done.
Saunders offered no compensation, no offer to replace the sod when the weather.
If they put down fifty pieces of sod it was a lot. How much could that have cost them to replace it?
