My last two visits to Lowe's have been super unproductive. When I was there over a week ago one of the sales associates sent me on a wild goose chase for a 8 in pot in the garden area, while it was freezing cold! Yep, no 8 inch pots...at all! I almost froze my Pataudi off trying to find the 8 in pots! Today, the hubs and I were going to look at washers and dryers. We asked one sales associate that we saw after being in the store for a while to send over a sales associate for washers and dryers. Well we waited...and waited...and waited...and waited until we got exhausted from waiting and decided to leave. With service like this, I am not sure how long they are going to be in business. We did some comparative shopping on our own. The washer and dryer that was in the top choice spot at The Home Depot was comparably priced at Lowe's. Once we gathered enough intel, we were on our merry way...ok not so merry way! read more

I've been remiss in updating this review. I came here in the spring and bought some lovely flowers that were of awesome quality! I'm so very happy with them. The assistance I received in choosing them was great. We also came in for fertilizer, and we received assistance loading the bags. Another time, I had a return, with a receipt, and it went smoothly. Recently I came to get rubber pipe insulator for our outside spigot that is too long for the average Styrofoam cover. It was January 2026, and a big winter storm with below freezing temperatures and ice was coming. When I entered through the garden department, I discovered all the plants that had no regular roof covering had been moved. The space was empty. I've no idea where they put them, but I know they were put somewhere safe and warm. I absolutely love that! I hadn't considered what a store would do in this situation, so it seems obvious. But kudos for this. This is a good Lowe's location! read more

I have mixed feelings about this hardware store. It's close and convenient yet seems to be missing true tools and stuff I need. I drove over to get a come along. Up and down the aisles with no luck. Finally asked for help and they said it's only online. A come along is a great tool and if you sell chain and ratchet straps how come no come along? I left and went to Home Depot, boom bought a 1 ton there with 25 foot cable. read more

This complaint is for all (twelve) 12 of the Lowes Stores between Austin and New Braunfels. I purchased a 56 volt EGO 21 inch self propelled battery powered lawn mower three years ago. The lights work and so do other electrical components except EXCEPT for the motor and drive wheels. I used the trouble shooting guide to no avail. I have been to 3 Lowes stores and called 2 others. Nobody has been able tell me where I can get my lawn mower serviced. It baffles me why Lowes carries a brand and several models of a lawnmower that they don't stand behind or have a clue get it serviced. We have been told by EGO that Lowes used to service these mowers but stopped. This is not what Lowes advertises for customer service. I'm seriously considering going back to using a gas powered Honda mower (but not from Lowes). read more

It's humiliating to think that of all people in Lowe's, a hardware store where men have a heavy presence, that a WOMAN employee would be the least friendly, least helpful person of all and deny sending me help to the aisle regarding a screw I needed. She told me too bad...I had to buy whatever I think I needed and if it didn't work, return it...when everyone knows that people come to hardware stores like Lowe's and Home Depot to ask questions and get help BEFORE purchasing. Then when I flagged down help from a friendly guy employee, he told me that no she was wrong and that he helped people try out screws ALL OF THE TIME. I hope a manager reads this. Do not use this Lowe's. I ordered appliances in November. They scheduled the install for Dec 23rd - installed a faulty oven. Installer didn't mention the errors until I asked about and told me to call Lowe's. Since then I've been on a circle of calls. I was told work orders were submitted last week and got calls yesterday that nothing was submitted. I was told a manager was going to call me today and when I called I was put on hold for 30 m and then when I called back and finally got a manager I was given no confidence that this will be resolved in the near future. They have excuses but the incompetence of this location is not one I'd recommend dealing with. No oven for the holidays, no oven 1+ month in and no sign this is going to be resolved. read more

My family will be loyal to the Brodie Lane Lowe's forever. Frank, the GM of this location, played a huge role in getting a treehouse completed for my son. Frank volunteered his help to my friend who organized the project and, I'm told, was instrumental in coordinating supply drop-offs and pick-ups, arranging for additional volunteer labor, and troubleshooting the various hiccups that you encounter in any construction project. My son has been over the moon about this treehouse from the moment we arrived home from our trip a month ago, and it has been such a bright spot in the middle of a very challenging time for our family as we've navigated his cancer diagnosis. We've been blessed to experience many kindnesses throughout this experience with our son, but not one thing so personally done across a broad group of strangers who didn't hesitate to donate their actual sweat and time. I'm still in awe of the way Frank stepped into a leadership role on this project for a little boy he'd never even met, and I know there are many other employees from this Lowe's who also volunteered their time and labor to get this treehouse done for my son. We will never forget what each of you have done, Frank and team! Our family has been so comforted and uplifted by your generosity of spirit. read more

Like all the other big box stores their customer service went down inversely with the growth of their company. My ordered item was delayed for weeks and getting concrete status updates was a headache through the national support one is is funneled into. It finally got delivered and I needed a simple extension on the pickup date. Getting an extension was a bag of hurt too with their chat and phone support. Phone calls routed to hangups a dozen times. read more

All the male workers at this store so helpful. If they don't know the answer or it's not their area they will still try to help you. However, there is a middle aged woman who works up front with the worst attitude. A male worker asked her something in front of me and her response was I don't know and I don't care. It's not my problem. I saw another comment about a female in the reviews similar to this and I can't help but wonder if it is the same person. I will still shop here but will avoid her. read more

I'm seeing a lot of negative experiences about Lowe's pro services... I can't speak to that, but as a frequenter of this location I can speak to it how 95% of people will - as a retail home improvement store. I will take this Lowes over the central/North Home Depot options almost every single time. The layout makes more sense, it is less crowded, the employees are more helpful. I'm not as big a fan of Lowe's in-house brands, but that doesn't usually make a huge difference. As a frequent DIYer having this location right off Anderson just a 5 min drive away is a Godsend. It has late hours, and inventory for just about everything you need. Not much more needed than that. read more

If you have nothing better to do than spend a few hours trying to get assistance with a major appliance purchase that within 90 days of purchase will need - repair - then 100% spend thousands of dollars with Lowes. Purchase of washer & dryer #1 - dryer immediately had mechanical issues and was scheduled for return. Purchase of washer & dryer #2 (to replace #1) - worked great for almost 90 days before washer had error codes during cycle. Whirlpool? Good luck trying to speak with a human - over an hour on hold with no assistance. Live chat - lol.... I guess they consider bot's to be "live" chat. Over two hours wasted on phone calls and chats with no (zero) assistance from Lowes or Whirlpool. Spent over $1800 on major appliance set and now will pay out of pocket for repairs while still making payments on Lowes credit card. Epic low standards in customer support. Everyone (including Phil) was so very sorry that there was nothing they could do to help. Yes, sorry is probably the best description of the service and support. read more

Lowe's is still the same most anti-customer-focused "home improvement" store chain on the planet. Many years ago, I ordered a new fridge for my Mom. In the process of delivering the new unit, they trashed her tile kitchen floor, damaged the main back entry door, and destroyed the new fridge as well. And today, they still reign as top trash in the industry. I ordered two crucial items for home delivery. They were supposed to arrive in two days. In typical incompetent Lowe's fashion, neither item was delivered. In addition, Lowe's did not provide a valid tracking number for FedEx. So, neither Lowe's or FedEx had any way to track my order. They really should update their name to "Lowe's-Life Home Unimprovement!" Still dog poop after all these years - and that's an insult to dog poop! read more

I witnessed a Lowe's box truck driving erratically, crash into my chain-link fence gate and drive off without stopping. I filed a police report and traced the delivery to the Lowe's store on Shoal Creek Blvd. in Austin, Texas. I spoke to the Lowe's general manager. He said Lowe's is not responsible for any damage their drivers cause. He insinuated that I forget about it and that Lowe's has better lawyers. Re: Gutters Marcus B. ghosted me a second time within one year. Natasha hung up on me the first time when I got upset with her for trying to move me to a virtual appointment. The second time Adyan scheduled for me, Natasha went ahead and cancelled it without communicating with me. I know for a fact Adyan typed in my correct zip code. Natasha went in and purposely changed my zip code to Egypt so that it would get moved to a virtual appointment, even though I live within ten minutes. I corrected my zip code, rescheduled the second time and Marcus B. ghosted again. We spent $8500 from Chase and Adyan at Lowes within the past year at this location. Alas, I can't say I'm impressed with this outlet of Lowe's. Purchased a toilet seat 'kit' to replace one with a broken bolt. I asked an associate if the bolts and fasteners came in the box with the seat, and was told that it did. When I get home, I find out that the bottom edge of the box was crudely taped. So this box had been opened and resealed. The seat is there...but no bolts or fasteners. Luckily (and this is why I gave two stars not one), my local neighborhood Lowe's accepted the return without a problem and then I purchased a different seat kit. This one was sealed properly and I was able to complete my home repair. This outlet of Lowe's doesn't effectively check their returns when brought in. They need to at least indicate when an opened box is a returned item with a new sticker, the way Fry's electronics does. So, thanks for forcing me to make an extra trip to your stores, Lowe's! Pro Tip: When shopping at Lowe's, carefully check the package you select to ensure that it hasn't been opened before. read more

After a recent and frustrating curbside experience with the Lowe's in Sunset Valley, this store totally exceeded my expectations in that department. From the time I called the store to request curbside service to the moment it was in my trunk was under 2 minutes. This is certainly not my expectation of curbside service. I get that I'm not the only pit bull on the beach. But it sure is nice to feel extra special once in a while--or at least not treated with disrespect or ignored. I'm not in this part of town very often. I may have to think up more excuses when I need something from Lowe's to come out this way. At least until the 'rona is over. read more

I was OK with this cause I spend a lot of $$$ at Lowes. Went directly to parking lot & called card company. Bank told me card will always accept money & my card was working perfectly, this is scam (her word) retailers use to make sure you spend the money in their store. Felt sleazy but again, I'm there spending money all the time so NBD. Next trip to Lowes I waited in self checkout & found that line doesn't accept in store credit cards. This Lowe's store had their .99 points up front and beautiful for sale and selling they were... there was also a good compliment of other types on the rack of beautiful points as well. When I walked in I was immediately hit in the eye with Christmas! Love the display! The store it's self was nicely kept, not too cluttered considering it was Black Friday... employees greeted me and acknowledged me with offers of help... and the store wasn't overwhelmed and unable to handle the day. They even had some great toy options, google answer to amazons echo dot, and some other "trendy" BlackFriday stuff too. Well done... I will be back to shop here again! read more

This review is for Lowe's delivery service. I chose a delivery window of 8am-12pm on a Saturday for delivery. I heard nothing by 11:30am so I called the delivery phone number and was told I was bumped to be the last delivery (18th) of the day at 8pm. They expected me to wait 12 hours on a Saturday for delivery. They stated it was a glitch with their computer system. They would not discuss any kind of compensation with me until my appliances were delivered which would be the following day. The drivers were kind and stated they would do their best to come early but they were unable to do so because Lowe's was forcing them to provide extra services throughout the day to customer's who hadn't paid for those services. I had to cancel an important event that night. This system is not working and it's rude and unprofessional to treat customers this way. read more

I've been a Lowe's customer since they opened. I own a small "handyman, facility services company" that caters to the commercial property management industry. I was a once or twice DAILY customer 5-6 days per week. as you can guess I'm tax exempt on about 95% of my purchases. DURING the week the store on Shoal Creek in Austin after 11:00am will NOT have ONE SINGLE register open, only the self-checkout which tax exempt purchases can't be handled, my only choice is to go down to customer service to check-out! Takes forever....so, if you value your time as much as I do.....DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, drive a few miles down the road to Home Depot.....you'll be glad you did. They lost a fairly substantial amount of business from me and I'll not be back. read more

Do not do carpet with these people. Did a poor and incomplete job including not having enough carpet to finish and lines down the bedroom carpets where the carpets didn't match or they didn't have enough carpet to do it correctly. Thresholds did not include transitions. It's been over six weeks now and can rarely get in touch with anybody and when I do nothing ever happens and the next person doesn't know anything about it. They need to do more and more inspections when the job is clearly not done, right and not complete. I shouldn't have to have random people come to my house over and over again when the job was closing, not done right the first time. The next schedule inspection is two weeks from now and it's been over 6 weeks since the date of installation. read more

Horrible delivery service. My washer broke just before leaving town and people who are staying at my unit while I'm out of town needed a washing machine. Went in on a Sunday and purchased a new one. The appliance guy was super nice and helpful (the only reason for two stars instead of one). He got me set up for a Monday delivery with a 30 min warning call). I only had one missed call during that time (I was on the phone) from a Florida number with a female name showing on my phone. No voice mail, no text. Out of caution I called back, no answer so assumed it was a spam call. The "track my delivery" feature did not work because the gps in the truck was off! After my delivery window I kept calling the store and every time they transferred me to delivery, the phone rang 15 times and hung up. I must have called at least 20 times on Monday and when I did connect to a human they took my name and number and said someone would call back. (Never did). Finally I reached someone who tried to help but not in delivery. I was told the notes in the system said delivery called me but I didn't answer. Found out they use their personal phones instead of a number associated with Lowe's so that missed call must have been them, but ZERO way to get ahold of them and no instructions on my confirmation email when a missed call happens. Requested a Tuesday delivery as this was urgent and was told not possible, Wednesday was the earliest. Requested first delivery (I'm less than 1.5 miles from the store). I was told the notes were in the system but the person I was talking to at 9pm Tuesday night could not guarantee. Wednesday comes and my delivery window is 2:30-3:00. Now I have to completely rearrange my travel plans (which cost me money) as the people staying at my unit need a washer. I have never been so disappointed in a company not even trying to make things right by the customer. Out of the handful of times I was actually able to reach a human and told I would receive call backs, the only ones to call me back were the appliance guy who called me Monday night after 8pm trying to understand what happened and get me back on the schedule and the guy who called Tuesday night around 9pm to tell me I was on the list. No phone calls during the day from anyone. They left me in the dark and beyond frustrated. The Lowe's in McKinney is beyond customer friendly but the Lowe's in Austin on Shoal Creek has no clue what customer service means and does not care about the inconvenience or cost to the customer when they fail to perform. read more

He helped me through the gauntlet of getting my refrigerator repaired after it broke on Thanksgiving day! Luckily I had bought the extended warranty and all is well but getting there took a lot of problem solving! Bishop was there every step of the way. So grateful to you,Bishop! How many stores exceed your expectations? We can think of one: this store. This is not just another generic home improvement box store. Our home needs renovation and we are saving for retirement. So we are managing the work. Kris in the Cabinet department is like no other. He got us through a complex kitchen remodel. The store manager, Jon, backed us up whenever we had an issue - like a Kraftmaid rebate. This store makes us feel safe. We initially tried working through Home Depot out of habit but didn't get the level of service needed for a remodel. Now we have an awesome Lowe's home. At least we are getting close. So far, we have purchased our cabinets, paint, windows, interior doors and showpiece range. Tubs are next. read more

Lowe's owes me a considerable amount of money on an installation that I was over-billed for. Trying to get this accomplished has been 100 percent impossible. Supposedly, new management was put in place months ago to try to improve the zero customer service at this store, but it's the same old story. You can't reach anyone by phone, and if you go to the store, the manager you need is ALWAYS in a meeting or at lunch. And they don't call when staff says they will. This store needs to be shut down and start up from scratch, with completely new management. read more
