When the old furnace gave up the ghost, they recommended a couple of good options. When they installed it, they were very thorough and even did some necessary rerouting of the gas line. Last year I called again to have my a/c system replaced. The old one was obsolete and had to be completely replaced. They were also able to install some new ductwork where raccoons had chewed up the old. Like before, they did a fantastic job, and even replaced the thermostat and wiring, which may have been overlooked when the furnace was installed. As of now, with the heat of the summer, my energy use reports from Duke show my house as being very efficient. I'm sure that is due in large part to the large energy saving a/c compressor I chose. Now I can stay cool, and affordably cool at that.

He discovered two sources of the leaking water, fixed one immediately and restored water supply to the rest of our house. He recommended a new kitchen faucet to replace ours, which was part of the problem, checked local availability and I was able to pick it up on my way home from a medical appointment. Soon after I got home, another Commercial Service plumber arrived, installed the faucet and double checked to make sure that the dishwasher wasn't part of the problem. Before the second plumber arrived, the first plumber had contacted a mitigation company and they sent a rep to evaluate the situation. By the middle of the afternoon they began the work of drying out the areas that had been affected by the leak. We asked a guy from Brazil, IN (with good reviews) to come take a look and give us a quote. From his inspection, we found out we had no ductwork for our heating/cooling (just in time for winter). Imagine our surprise. He quoted us 8-10k for this job, which was out of the question. We shopped around and found Dennis with Allen's Independence Air. He came out the same day, gave us a detailed quote that evening, and returned 4 business days later to do this job. Not only did he cost significantly LESS, but he custom fit parts for our tiny crawl space and added necessary vents to help heat the home. He was very personable and completed the job the same day!! I would highly recommend him for any of your heating/cooling needs.

Lo and behold, after the cleaning dust/debris from the crawlspace started blowing into my house -- almost certainly because of a new tear. I asked them to fix the tear created by their cleaning but all I got was the dogmatic: "our machine doesn't damage flexducts." In the end, I had to pay someone else to fix the tears they created. Absolutely atrocious customer service on top of high pricing. Would not recommend at all.
