I punctured my foot and went to see Dr Gentile at South County Urgent Care. Turns out their office…read moredid not take my insurance. I was told it was $120 for cash customers then another $60 for the tetanus shot. I needed help right away. Staff at the front desk were so nice and professional. When I went back the nurse Joanne also was just so pleasant and professional. Dr Gentile came in after a few minutes and looked at my foot and felt bad about me having to pay $120 then another $60 for the shot so he said he would take care of the cost of the shot and all I paid was $120. Amazing. This doctor was also so nice and professional and really helped me out when he didn't need to. I highly recommend this office and Dr John F Gentile. Amazing man and doctor. He treated me like a person and not just a billing code. 5 stars! Thank you Dr Gentile!

Everyone at this urgent care is so genuinely kind. My 3.5 y/o son cracked his head open and I was…read morepanicked and trying to keep cool. We got to the urgent care and we're seen quickly. The check in woman was so warm and prompt for us. My son was singing loudly and playing with kids toys ( with a bleeding head ) while we waited to be seen and honestly he was probably too loud especially because we weren't the only ones in the waiting room, but she was just laughing and telling me how sweet he is. Then it was time to go back. The nurse/ assistant that walked us back and got us settled was also just such a gem and made us feel so welcomed and safe. Then Dr. Gentile came in and right off the bat my son was smitten with him. He played games with my son and explained clearly everything he was going to do and made him feel strong and brave and in charge of his own body. My son ended up needing two staples in the back of his head and numbing injections. The staff and doctor worked together so well and so fast my son barely had time to react! I was so impressed and so relieved. My son was talking about the Dr all week telling me how cool he was and how he wants him at his upcoming birthday party. Just so sweet. What a great role model to have in our community to reinforce the idea to our kids that doctors are here to make us better and aren't scary but are heros ! A really unfortunate accident turned into a really good experience. We walked away (with lolipops for bravery) feeling so supported and taken care of. Thank you to your whole team
