I came to Lowe Orthodontics when I was growing up for braces and other teeth alignment hardware like my upper retainer (to wear at night) and permanent lower retainer. The office did a good job of accommodating early morning and afternoon appointments, which was nice to prevent/mediate missing school for the appointments. The office was warm and comfortable with friendly workers. We (my sister also got her braces done here) were required to check in for our appointments on a computer located at the front desk upon arrival. Seats in the waiting area and the waiting space in general provided a welcoming space to wait. There were rooms off to the side where we started out on our orthodontics journey including being informed I had a bit of an overbite. Chairs for teeth work and check-ups were in an open space, which made it easy for the workers to transition from one person to another. Braces did a good job on aligning my teeth and addressing the overbite. Retainers I got from here have been durable and effective. Over a decade later (today is Saturday 9 September 2023), my bottom retainer is still doing well. One of the perks of getting my upper retainer from here was that we were allowed to bring in a small image if we wanted something on the plate of the retainer that presses against the top of the mouth when wearing it. I brought in a visual of an okapi and that was worked into the bottom of the retainer. Later on, when living in a shared space for college, this custom addition helped prevent other girls from accidentally taking my retainer as they came to identify the one with the okapi as mine. read more

I started with Dr. Simon's for the first two years and then was transferred to Lowe. With Simon's my teeth and bite were fine. Once I was under Lowes care my bite went off and remained off for a year. He could never get it back. Finally I was told "your teeth will settle" and to get braces off. He is the only Dr now. I developed angular chelitis because my bite was off and saliva was coming out of the corners of my mouth. I also developed TMJ. After thousands in TMJ treatment and most of my teeth sheering off due to misalignment and a resorption (losing a molar) due to the trauma, my teeth are completely destroyed. I was recently told I am headed for a complete reconstruction. My teeth were very straight when I started treatment. My dentist said ortho would help my bite. I would never step foot in this office. I was stone walled and my calls were refused. I am left to dig myself out of this, if it's even possible. It will eventually cost tens of thousands of dollars. I also developed a dry mouth during treatment. The TMJ Dr sent me for a lip biopsy with a Dr who had never done one. My lip nerve was cut and I now also have constant burning. What a nightmare! I suffer constantly from this. I was offered my money back if I signed a release! He knew he damaged me. Run from this place! read more

I came to Lowe Orthodontics about a year ago in May, for a braces recommendation from my dentist. I had some crowding in my mouth and I had some cosmetic issues with crooked teeth I had always been self conscious about. The experience I've had here is phenomenal. Dr Lowe and his team (esp Erika, Joanna, and everyone else) is SO friendly and informative. They are prompt, thoughtful and thorough when it comes to their consultations and assessments. Braces is something I've wanted since I was a kid and I waited till I was 33 years old to finally get them on - and now, a year later I see HUGE improvements in my smile and feel more confident than ever. This is much more affordable monthly than I previously thought and the investment in having a beautiful smile is priceless in my opinion. I love the whole process - from the rubber band colors and hearing about the progress my teeth have made in such a short time. I had to get teeth taken out due to crowding and almost a year later, the gaps are almost entirely closed and my teeth are straighter than ever. I have about a year left and i am so happy to have given my business to Lowe Orthodontics and even went to Dr Lowe's brother to have my surgery to remove my wisdom teeth/teeth for crowding. I HIGHLY recommend them! It's never to late to invest in your smile. i used to always hide my teeth/smile, spent money on those stupid clip on veneers, etc and I am SO happy I finally made the choice to fix my teeth. It's not just cosmetic, since having the braces i no longer grind my teeth at night etc etc so honestly this has been such an amazing experience and it's been such a pleasure working with Dr Lowe and his team. i can finally smile and take pictures smiling and am happy to show my teeth off, which I was never able to previously do. read more

I currently see Dr. Lowe for full traditional braces. I had about 8 consults for braces over the years. This office was by far the best, hence why I chose them! They took the extra time to measure precisely (I need an implant that needs a certain amount of space) and to discuss my implant in depth. They were knowledgeable, I felt comfortable, and after about 10 years of promising myself I'd get braces- I booked an appointment to get them on just days after my consult here! Dr Simons and Dr Lowe did an excellent job with my sons teeth! They used to have a gap in the middle but after 2 years of braces no gap and beautiful teeth!! My son actually loved to come into the office as everyone in the office was absolutely FABULOUS! The doctors are very and do a great job explaining the reasoning behing everything. The entire staff is so caring and was always nice to visit with while my son was getting his work done. This "dentist" ruined my teeth over 20 years ago. I got braces, he NEVER told me if I did not floss,I would have horrible spots on my teeth. No apologizing. 20 years later, I'm still angry. My wedding pictures were hideous. I have to hide my smile because this doctor did not do his job. He never offered a solution or to pay me back the over 2000 dollars I paid. I would have rather had crooked teeth then spots. Its past the time I can sue this jerk. My sister is a current patient even though I warned her he is horrible. I do not want anyone else's life ruined by this shady dentist. Shame on you, dr Simons and shame on your staff. You ruined my life!!! read more

Dr. Simons was recommended to me by the receptionist at Einstein Middle School when my son was a student there. She had so many compliments of his personal and professional life, I had to have a consultation before choosing an orthodontist. From the first meeting, it was evident that Dr. Simons is a caring professional. During my son's treatment, he was always available for emergencies. He responded promptly to after hours phone calls. My son now has beautiful, straight teeth! But above and beyond....my son is currently serving as a U.S. Marine. This past summer, while training in Oklahoma, my son informed me that his upper retainer had broken. Tiffany (Dr. Simon's assistant) and Dr. Simons were able to replace his retainer long distance!! I went to Simons/Lowe Orthodontics in 2002 for a consultation. My parents decided against dental appliances even though they had been advised by Dr. Simons that I needed extensive treatment. I remember Dr. Simons in that consultation telling my Dad that if he didn't start work immediately my teeth would get worse and the costs would be higher down the road. Dr. Simons has been nothing but honest and true to his word. You can tell he loves his job and the happiness of his patients comes before making his living (He will never nickel and dime you). His warning came true and when I finally made the decision to get orthodontic appliances as an adult I chose his office. He is a kind family man (I went to school with his kids) and he really does care about each and every one of his patients. Numerous complications with insurance companies and surgeries have shown me he will work with you and help you make the right decisions (even if it isn't in his job description). I go to school in Eastern Washington and his staff are very good at accommodating my school schedule. They also do email reminders of appointments as well as give out paper slips to keep track of future appointments. Their office is clean and they use technology very efficiently. Prepare to be amazed when you finally get your braces off as they will show you all the pictures and molds they will take over the course of your treatment. It is really easy to quantify and appreciate the high level of care you have received when part of their job is showcasing their brilliant work. Highly recommended to everyone. What is lacking are friendly faces at the front desk and even the assistants could learn to smile a little more. Ive had the receptionist hang up on me without so much as a goodbye. I have been very impressed by everyone at this office. Everyone was very kind and understanding when Dr. Simons slipped and chipped my front tooth. I mean, accidents do happen. And I really busted a gut when Dr. Lowe was squirting the assistants with the little water sprayer thingie--what a hoot! Tiffiny was super about it the time she left me in the x-ray machine with it going full blast while she took the personal call from her tax advisor. Those guys crack me up! I am a retired dental hygienist and I really liked this office! Consult appointments were very thorough. Assistant was very gentle with my small mouth when taking intraoral photos and x-rays. The 3D camera scan of my mouth was easy to do and produced a really cool model which makes it easy for everyone to see what Dr Simons suggests we change for the better. Dr Simons was very patient and answered all our questions, of which there were many since we are in the dental field. Tiffany was able to organize all my dental history and oral surgeon consultation info so Dr Simons could explain all my options. We could not have asked for a better experience from our first orthodontic adventure since the stone age! My 7 year old daughter needed some early intervention, from making her mouth bigger (who would have guessed!) to adjusting teeth and jaw. We could not have picked a better provider. From the moment we stepped in for our first appointment, they treated my apprehensive 2nd grader like a princess. I can't imagine it's easy to work with a 7 year old, but the entire office did so beautifully. Dr.s Simon & Lowe, as well as the FANTASTIC staff, treated her like she was their only patient (a feat in a busy office), quelled her fears, and had extreme patience with her - answering her multitude of questions, and not just about her mouth! Had to take my son in for a consultation prior to getting his braces put on. I was told he would need some additional time until he was ready. They took some xrays and determined he would also need an additional appliance put in his mouth to expand his upper jaw, in the interim, while we waited for more of his adult teeth to come in. Dr Lowe consulted with my son and I for about 30 minutes and explained all the details of what we could/should expect going forward and we made arrangements to have the appliance put it. EVERYBODY at that office is so nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. The intake team goes over all the financial aspects, the receptionists are able to accommodate all my scheduling requests, the Dr's assistants are all excellent. The IT is modern and they are able to contact me via email and text to remind me of appointments. The office is spotless, the equipment is new and well maintained.They return phone calls quickly and most importantly, they make my son feel welcome and comfortable while he is there. Clearly these guys know what they're doing and the whole process always feels experiential and never just transactional. Couldn't find a thing that even comes close to the level of a complaint or concern. If you need to have any orthodontia work done now or in the future, these guys are the only game in town as far as I'm concerned. The icing on the cake for me was that I also found out, after meeting and speaking with Dr. Simons, his son and I were good friends in high school back in the 80s! read more
