In July 2026 I was hit with a surprise diagnosis of stage 4 cancer, and had to have immediate…read morespinal surgery. The doctors and nursing staff at Medical City Frisco were phenomenal. I thank God for them! The surgeons explained clearly what the plan was regarding the surgery and 2 subsequent procedures. The nursing staff was not just professional and knew their craft well, but the nurses who I saw most often were also comforting, which was something I needed. Below are the names of the doctors and staff for whom I'd like to provide a special note of commendation: Surgeons/Doctors: Dr. Panchal, Dr. Denison, Dr. Poch, Dr. Madhu. Nurses (ICU): Nicol (who was incredible!), Katrina, Shanon, Jacob, Safia, Isaiah, Adele, Isaac, Adrian, Kailee, Candice, Shawna, Deena, Heather and Mindi. Also special shout out to Jason Wright, Manager of the ICU nursing staff - he was fantastic as well and is doing a great job with the ICU nursing team! OT/PT: Scott (provided wonderful instructions and insight) and MaryAnn May God bless all of those named above for their help during this challenging phase of my life's journey! Kind regards, Ray W.

Call to complain and the head of the ER, couldn't care less. To many choices on places to go for our care, Baylor,Texas Health, Memorial, etc. We pay way too much for Insurance and deductibles to deal with a hospital system that doesn't deliver quality Care. No since of urgency for this possible blood clot Very disappointed that they didn't care about how I felt, they ever came back to the room to update me on anything. I had to call to even to get them to check on me. So my experience poor Registration was the only thing that came quickly. ($$$$) I will be calling Medicare to ensure they don't pay for services NOT given.

I had a procedure done on 6/7/23. The moment we stepped into the facility, I felt uncomfortable…read more We went into the office there is a sign posted that masks are required at all times inside the surgical rooms. (only 1/2 of the nurses were wearing masks in the surgical rooms and they were not on correctly) We are out of covid requirements of wearing a mask! I checked in and the 2 employees were rude and short with me. After checking in, my husband and I were told to go out and wait in the outer lobby. The outer lobby felt dirty and unprofessional. I had to wait almost an hour before being called back to get ready for my procedure. My husband stood up to go in with me and was stopped. He could not go back with me! He is always by my side and it's comforting to have him with me to keep me calm and grounded. As they were getting my ready, the nurse who was supposed to be putting in my IV missed 3 times!!!! He looked as if he had just crawled out of bed! I was taken back for the procedure and the nurses in there were just as cold as the room was! I tried staying in a positive mood but it was getting harder by the minute. When the procedure was over and I was waking up, I noticed a bandage on my arm. My procedure was for my back! During the process of my procedure the skin on my forearm was ripped back! I wish I could upload the pictures of my arm. All they did was throw on a bandage with no antibiotic and no attempt to pull the skin back in place so that I wouldn't have such a large scar. I do have thin sensitive skin and I told everyone nurse I came into contact with about it. I was sent home with just a bandaged arm. The next day and today my arm is very sore. It's like they jerked me from the procedure table back to the other table and I'm sure they were wearing gloves which was a double sword because with gloves on they had a firm grip which peeled my skin back worse. After my procedure, my husband was called back about the time my doctor was coming in. We got the report and was going to be dismissed to go home. I don't know why I didn't pull the bandage back while the doctor was standing there, a little out of it from the anesthesia. After we got home, I pulled the bandage back and was SHOCKED by what I saw as my husband was too. My husband took pictures and I went to go sleep off the anesthesia. The next day, I sent pictures to my doctors office. I received an immediate call back from the office. They asked that I come in and they would try to work the skin back into place and put sterile healing strips on it. I declined because I didn't feel up to making the hour long trip and I was used to working with sterile healing strips due to being the caretaker of my Mom when she was alive. My husband and I fixed it the best way we could but I will still have a large scare on my forearm. I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to use this facility. I have told my doctors office to NEVER book me for a procedure there ever again!
