I've taken my 2 year old daughter to Loving Pediatrics twice and she loved it both times! Before our first visit, she struggled with brushing her teeth and would fight me every night, so I was worried about her first dentist visit. Luckily the office is very kid-friendly, and the toys in the waiting room loosened her up before they took us back. Every member of the staff clearly adores kids, and they were great at interacting with her without overwhelming her. She had such a great experience that she was excited to go back for her second visit (and she suddenly liked brushing her teeth, but I'm unsure if that's related to the first visit or just the whims of a 2 year old). Overall I highly recommend the practice. The front office staff is sweet, the hygienists are skilled, and Dr. Loving is helpful and kind. We will keep coming to this office as long as we live in North Austin! read more

There are not enough words to capture what Loving Pediatric means to our family. My daughter, youngest of four kiddos suffered some really challenging medical trauma before she was 2 years old and the memories of that fear and pain lives in her body. She's cured every time she walks into a medical office of ANY type since she was able to communicate. When we walked into the dentist office for the first time it was no different. She was terrified. Dr loving and her team met her in her fear and held her. They have tenderly and patiently nurtured her and helped her rebuild trust not only with her body, but also with her medical providers. Giving her space to ask questions, taking time to show her and patiently moving at a pace where she could engage the courage she needed to step into situations and spaces that felt scary and overwhelming. Including things in her mouth, shots, x-rays, any anything where she felt a loss of control. Today we went in for an emergency visit, she had cracked a molar and turned out she needed a crown. 1 hour later we walked out with a smiling little girl, who she'd maybe two years before the procedure started. She did amazing and she left feeling proud and happy about her new "princess crown" a feat that ONLY happened because of the care and attention that has been provided by Brandy and her team. I can not recommend them enough. I have kids ages 15 - 6 and have had multiple different dental experiences since becoming a mom, hands down THIS IS THE BEST! I wish we had known about her earlier and can guarantee we will be with her as long we she will see my kids. I'm so thankful and feel like they have not only helped instill confidence in my daughter related to her experience at the dentist, but they have truly helped her heal from medical trauma that could have caused anxiety for the rest of her life. There are not enough ways in the English language to say thank you to the amazing Dr. Loving, Bri, Nicole and Arlet. My son is a high risk (for Covid) child due to respiratory issues. For this reason, we hadn't taken him to the dentist since the pandemic started. He fell and hurt his tooth so I called to make an appointment to have it looked at. This is a new practice for us having never been before and it was very important to me to know that the doctor and others working on him were not only vaccinated but would wear a mask. They were gracious, beyond kind, and and even put us in a private room to keep him as safe as possible. As busy as they are, the gave us a 1st in the morning appointment for Tuesday morning and said they would speak with the pediatrician to make sure that there were no concerns given his respiratory issues since he'd be given nitrous gas for his tooth extraction. I was beyond pleased that they went that extra mile on their own. Fast forward 45 minutes after I made the appointment. My son's mouth began to bleed and he started crying. I called them back and told them what was happening and they said to come in now, and they would do their best to see us to make sure everything is OK. Dr. Loving and her staff were amazing with him. Very gentle and kind, and made him feel comfortable. The office seems very state of the art. They had portable x-ray machine that they brought to my child and had a TV with practically every show your child would want to watch. They showed him what they would be doing so he would know what to expect. He had his tooth extracted. They gave him a prize and a special box with his first lost tooth in it. I'm beyond impressed with this entire practice. We loved our previous dentist but for our kids, she is definitely their new dentist. read more

I had the worst experience imaginable here. We asked a couple months ago if our insurance was in network, and at the time of booking they said yes "we accept your insurance." Then we showed up for my kids checkup and nothing was mentioned about costs or insurance. At the end, on our way out they slapped us with a $400 bill, which was a guestimate, because oopsy your delta dental is actually out of network, and whoops we have 10 line items of random services we conducted on your 5 year old in literally 5 minutes in the chair. That's a $700 bill of which you owe $400, we THINK. We're not sure, but if we overcharge you we can always credit you back later. NEVER going here or recommending anyone else to either... read more

This is what we have got after experiencing with this dental clinic. Horrible!!!! Without warning us that we were out of network, they kept charging us every visit. Dr. refused to fix it when we asked her to do so. So, should we go to Dental Association or Auditing sources who can help us to validate her job?! I don't know ‍? This review is for Dr. Loving's administrative staff. Because of a nightmarish insurance snafu, my kids have not been treated by Dr. Loving, so I cannot comment on her care. But Brie, Nicole, and the front desk staff spent HOURS on the phone with my insurance provider, trying to figure out what would be covered and pushing back when the insurer denied coverage for a new provider. They patiently spoke with a supervisor to figure it all out on my behalf. And we weren't even patients of Dr. Loving's! I'm very sad we aren't covered to see Dr. Loving, because her staff is absolutely lovely. This office is amazing! My 4 year old became best friends with all of the ladies there. Jessica and Vanessa were so sweet with him during the X-rays! They showed him around the office and allowed him to play with all the toys. They were really patient and made him feel at ease. Dr. Loving was really nice and explained everything very well. She was so good with him. I never felt rushed and my son never felt scared. I was very anxious about this appt, he hasn't done well with dentists in the past. But this was the best experience! Dr. Loving shows great care, concern and compassion for her patients. Based on my daughter's treatment, I'd highly recommend this practice. The whole staff was really patient and inviting... They made us feel like we were the only patients. I was impressed with how clearly all the procedures were explained to both myself and my daughter. The toys and games in the office were clean and in great condition, which is always a plus in a pediatric office. Dr. Loving went above and beyond to help us when my daughter injured her two front teeth in karate class. I really can't say enough good things about her and the staff. Such an adorable dentist office, obviously designed with love and consideration for little ones. I took my daughter here for her very first ever dentist appointment at 21 months. She got to sit in my lap and lay her head back in Dr. Loving's lap while her teeth were cleaned. It was quick, easy and stress-free. They gave my daughter a balloon, sticker, new toothbrush and took her picture for a keepsake magnet for me. 5 stars, without question. Dr. Loving started as our pediatric dentist, but has become our friend! She is smart, patient, and funny! I love her beautiful office (with covered parking!), and my boys love the fun waiting area and good behavior prize selection. Dr. Loving has recommended reasonable, conservative, preventative care for my kiddos. Specifically, my oldest has fluorisis on his first year molars, so she did a slight cleaning out of the "soft spots" on the chewing surface and placed a tough sealant. A more aggressive dentist may have recommended a full filling and a less-engaged dentist may have just done a sealant. I felt that her treatment plan was just perfect!
