Long story short: do yourself and your child a favor and just bring them here! Most amazing stress-free dentist visit ever! Longer version: I have two children age 1 and 5. I scheduled the 1 year old to visit a day before my 5 year old, just to see how things go and what I could do to prepare the older child. When I checked in at front desk on both days, they knew exactly who I was bringing in when I said my daughter's first name, I didn't even get to say their last name. It's like they are well prepared and already went over who's coming in, this is small but sure made us feel welcomed. There's no holding a clipboard or flipping pages to fill out patient information as everything was done on iPad. Super important as I may need to hold my baby if she gets anxious. Also, the waiting area has power outlet plugs to avoid little hands being too curious. The play area is fun and cool. You know they took the time and thought everything through. Now on the major show, on our first day with my 1 year old, Brittany, the champion of the day, explained everything in details. She was extremely patient, helpful, cheerful, and so understanding of how nervous my 5 year old could be. The 1 year old did quite well for her visit and got a teething toy and a goodie bag that her sister will later see at home. The goodies created positive anticipation, and big sis wanted one too. Brittany gave us gloves and mirrors for us to play and practice at home, and we sure did. The next day, big sis already knew the drill. She was looking forward to playing at the play area, and excited that she got to see a movie while getting her teeth checked. This time, Emily was our star of the day. Her sweet voice, smiles, making sure big sis knew what was being done, getting consent before actually starting every procedure, encouraging big sis to get pictures of her teeth (x-ray). And I forgot to ask the lady who helped with X-ray but thank you for cheering! All these made our trip so wonderful. Dr. Lucas is caring, professional, and pays great attention to both my girls. She looked carefully at big sis's x-ray, explained how things are the way they are, and her recommendation. Dr. Lucas is great with little ones and remembered to tell me to praise my girl at home for sitting on the big kid chair. Thank you so much. Thank you all for taking good care of one little human at a time. We appreciate Austin Pediatric Dentistry so much!

We got our twins tongue ties revised here 5 years ago and also our daughter got a cavity filled with no numbing on a front tooth when she was 2. We tried to find another practice closer to us and dentist shopped for months trying to find a good option to get my daughter some extractions done for two teeth that had progressed. I will say we came here and saw the other dentist (I can't remember her name, instead of dr Lucas who we saw before) and my daughter was 5 and had major anxiety as we attempted to get some fillings done. It was all on my daughter, she wouldn't cooperate. Which is why the teeth ended up progressing. After this we found Dr Jenny Smiles (another practice) who does conscious sedation. We are self pay and it was very expensive but it's the only way my daughter was comfortable with the work they did. It went well but when I took my 5 yr old twins in they suggested 8 cavities for one and 4 for the other and it was going to cost nearly 5k! So we came back to this practice and they decided one twin had 6 cavities and the other had 4 (albeit they're between teeth which is why they're called 4 instead of 2 since teeth touch) They didn't have to numb, my daughter (7) even had a few cavities filled here and was completely comfortable despite nerves. Dr Lucas was SO fast she got all my twins teeth fixed in two visits so as not to overwhelm him and he did fantastic. And so did my daughter. It does cost a lot (less than Jenny smiles since she charges for sedation) despite the discount for self pay but they take care credit. But the care you receive here especially no numbing shots I will pay for! Dr Lucas is incredible she's so smart so fast and so sweet. The kids love her. And so do I cause I have kids without cavities now. dr Lucas did not shame me for nursing but said that's probably what caused the cavities is eating carbs and nursing simultaneously. So thankful for this place- there really is no other dentist that compares to them. The no numbing laser is a God send! I wish they'd work on me. Thank you Dr Lucas!

The customer service by both the doctor and the staff, the cleanliness and beauty of the space, and the professionalism of the service make the spot worth checking out. I was referred to this practice due to a posterior tongue tie for my newborn daughter. She is seven weeks old, and I was running myself ragged trying to do all the many things in order to increase my milk supply. The folks at La Leche League identified some two-tone coloring to her lips, and speculated that she might have a posterior tongue tie. I was able to make an appointment for the next week easily, as there's an actual person who picks up the phone when you call this establishment. In fact, I was able to speak to an actual human being when I called the day of my appointment for let them know I was running late. That seems to be an increasing rarity in the medical field. There are signs near the parking lot that meet you towards the office space. This is one of the initial demonstrations of attention to detail that I noticed, and appreciated. All the staff were attentive, welcoming, and professional. I was greeted right away by both receptionists, and was taken to the back within one minute of my tardy appearance. The folks who dealt with explaining the procedure, and also the billing, were super friendly and accommodating. They moved my car seat for me and went over the charges with transparency and kindness. This practice is not covered in network by my insurance, so we ended up paying the $511 out of pocket. But, the alacrity of the procedure, plus the ability to use lasers instead of scissors for my daughter's comfort, and the fact that this practice does the procedure all the time, made me feel like this was very worthwhile and a good use my money. Final notes: There was a space in the practice for nursing immediately post procedure, and the bathroom had a changing table with all the amenities. I can see why so many people like this practice and recommend it highly.

I had called to establish dental care for my daughter in April (this month) and notified them on the phone call that I could see a developing cavity in my daughter's mouth. I specifically asked if they could treat cavities in office for her (knowing she's a toddler based on her birthdate) and they said they would need to do an evaluation and would do treatment a different day. They NEVER told ME DIRECTLY that they can't handle sedation treatments for toddlers. We proceeded to come in and evaluate the cavity only to be told they can't treat cavities in office for toddlers. And it wasnt in a polite "oh I'm sorry you were misinformed" or "I'm sorry there was a misunderstanding." No. Instead, Dr. Dimick rudely interrupted me, held her hand up, and told me she would read through transcripts that would show I was told. Lo and behold, the transcripts never show them telling me. Supposedly 5 months prior (December of 2025) when my husband was calling dentists to find a dentist for our kids, he was told. I was not told. And 5 months later when I'm calling to establish care and I'm specifically telling them there's a cavity, why would they not "reiterate" such vital information?! I would NEVER have wasted time and money there if they would've been transparent and upfront with me, and confided they that are unable to treat cavities in toddlers. What is the point of a pediatric dentist who can't treat?? And more so, a dentist who so rudely claims to have told me things they did not. Absolute insanity and a waste of time. A scam of a dentist as I've found to be common in this area...Take money from you and claim they "evaluated" but doesn't have the ability to treat. It's laughable if I weren't having to pay out of pocket for wasted appointment and X-rays.

Been taking both kids to Little Smiles since they were in elementary school. Due to not being in network for my insurance, our last appt in January 2024, we were told and shown that our daughter had 5 cavities and the estimate would run around $1500. Dr. Jenny jokingly asked, "Do you drink Starbucks drinks because if so, we tend to see cavities in teens due to sugary drink consumption." I sought a 2nd opinion at my adult dentist knowing the cost to get them addressed would be lower, given they are in network since Little Smiles is not in network for us. To my surprise, x-ray films sent over and evaluated by my adult dentist discovered that my daughter had NO evidence of ANY cavities whatsoever--nor the beginnings of ANY cavities. In shock, I asked if they were certain. A second set of x-rays were taken to confirm and ease my mind. Again, ZERO cavities. Had I not sought their care to reduce cost, my daughter's beautiful adult teeth would have been drilled and modified for no reason. I warn everyone as I too had been warned that dentistry can be notorious for recommending unnecessary treatment to make a profit. My daughter had a friend who experienced something similar from Little Smiles. Unfortunately, this discovery ended my respect and my relationship at Little Smiles Dentistry in Cedar Park. They have a fun office with friendly staff and all but sometimes that can cover up lucrative practices if you as a consumer are not vigilant. I'm fortunate that my circumstances resulted in preventing unnecessary dental work for my daughter's adult teeth. We go twice per year for regular checkups and the next checkups at our adult dentist confirmed--STILL ZERO cavities whatsoever this past January 2025. Both of my daughters have been cavity free their entire lives so far and we hope to keep it that way. My advice, get a 2nd opinion if you have the time especially when it involves your child's permanent teeth.

Dr. Gregerson was so kind and so was our dental assistant and the front desk folks who helped us every step of the way and calmed mom and dad's nerves. While baby did not like it, they walked us through how to get squirmy baby in and out and did the cleaning with such finess and speed both my husband and I were stunned with how quickly that went, we were both in awe at how he was able to floss baby's tiny teeth. Everything is looking great on his development of teeth, and we look forward to setting these healthy habits so our little one looks forward to a great bill of health. The fact that they are so happy to provide positive reinforcement for anxious kids is so appreciative for us as first time parents. Even more fun was seeing they help play movies like Cars for our baby and there were even video games that my husband indulged in. We can't wait to return in 6 months when our baby goes back so we can keep up making sure his teeth and mouth are in top shape.
