Very rude service and ridiculous policy by asking the Full SSN over the phone. All other doctor offices are only asking the insurance details but they asked for full SSN for a dentist appointment?! I asked why you need my SSN where you can easily verify my insurance and deductibles with my insurance number and name... they started saying it's the office policy? Before I got an answer how they will use my SSN... suddenly cut off my call?! If the phone number is not found from their office website, I would treat it as scam call. When I called back, they just lied to my face - it's probably the phone issue... I hope you can use a smarter excuse. It is not a respected service provider by treating you customer like an idiot. I am so happy I found it is such bad dentist office before I have more experience with them. read more

Five of my six children are new patients here. As much as my oldest would love it here, she's 20, so she sees another dentist :-). The kids & I enjoyed the experience from start to finish. To walk in and see their names in a sign was such a delight. Front desk staff is friendly, quick, & professional. After signing some things on a tablet, the kids were brought right in. It was five children, so they took up all five seats in the room . The dental hygienists were sweet & did a great job making the kids feel comfortable; even my 3 year old. The dentist was just as great. I totally thought we would be there for at least two hours between sign-in, five X-rays, five cleaning, five exams, & check-out, but they are so efficient and with their work "flow", we were in and out within an hour and five minutes. The place is clean and decorated nicely. My girls loved the sparkly wall up front & my toddler was LOVING the painted teeth on the walls. Super cute. Highly recommend. read more

My little one has been coming to this D.D.S. for a few years. I appreciate the time the staff takes with their patients. They not only explain the treatment plan to the "little patient" but also thoroughly explain the treatment plan to the parent/ guardian(s). Additionally, the front-desk staff most definitely attempt to accommodate scheduling around school and activities. Great experience all the way around. read more

We switched over to TLC about 2 years ago and my kids love Dr. Tran. The staff are accommodating so they can see both my kids. Initially, both my daughter and son were hesitant but Dr. Tran helped ease my anxious kids by singing to them while she looked over their teeth. I do NOT recommend this dentist. We were referred by my dentist, for my sons cavity. We show up, everything is fine. They then tell me he has a second small cavity which they can see on his new X-ray that they did. Since the last X-ray was from 6 months ago. Okay fine. So they want to give him an oral sedation and some laughing gas since at my dentist he was too nervous with just the gas. I pay $128 and book him for the cavities a month out and am told I need to pay $398 when I bring him. A couple weeks later they have an appointment that will be sooner and I accept it. I call the following day (today) to pay my $398. This is where everything goes to hell. So the very nice lady on the phone tells me that I actually owe over $500? I was like "Are you sure, maybe you need to look it over?" She didn't sound sure. So she takes a moment and then she says I owe $425 because of what my insurance will cover and that there's a note stating I need to sign the new agreement. So I ask "Why was I not told this when they offered me a sooner appointment?" She kind of says she is looking into it or whatever. No apologies or anything. So I ask her to send me the new proposal and I'll call back. Naturally I check my insurance and low and behold they are not in network. The assessment and X-rays were showing that Dr. Nikkolee is not in network and I could have saved $100 going to elsewhere. So why was I referred here by my Dentist? That's another story... but I call back and just tell them that I'd like to cancel services due to them not being in network. So I get passed back to their insurance person who is the original woman I spoke with and she says "I think you are in network...." She says "We have Dr. Nikkolee who is not in your network but we have another doctor that is in your network and that's the one we bill to your insurance." So I say "Well I have a claim from my insurance right here showing that Dr Nikkolee is the one we saw and it says not in network (And actually we didn't see that Doctor so this is strange) This whole thing is very confusing so I'd like to just cancel and get a refund" she was nice enough and tried to get it back to my card but eventually said she would mail me a check. I'm really angry that they wasted my time with this crap. This is like a lot of medical offices around here. You give them your insurance and they don't care how much it will cost you, they will take your money and not do the ethical thing of checking to see if you're in network or if you're getting the full benefits of your insurance. I pay a TON each month for insurance and I expect a medical office to do their do diligence of informing patients. It is their job to check coverage for you, that's why they collect your insurance information up front. Never again will I take a referral or not check my insurance up front myself. This was a waste of time. Update: I got a check in the mail for $100 when I paid $128? Not sure why they charged me anything for a consultation. Beware! This place is hard up. read more

My son absolutely LOVES going to the dentist and that is thanks to the wonderful staff at TLC. Today we saw Maria and Dr. Cindy Tran, who were both so kind and patient. All of the staff is so sweet and you can tell they are really passionate about caring for these kiddos. My son is really shy when we go in but as soon as we get in the car, he can't stop talking about how much fun he had (lol). I would recommend them 100%! *As for COVID precautions, they are very safe and the environment is kept clean. Masks and temperature checks are performed on everyone who walks through the door.* Side note - to the guy that wrote the awful review about not being able to get a temp check on your wrist? Grow up. We took our 20 months for his first check up to TLC pediatric dentistry. Thankfully they were within network with our insurance company and all the reviews on yelp were very positive. And we have to say we love it here! With three boys we had our share of experiences with pediatric dentists and I have to say Dr Tran was amazing. She was very gently and patient with my little guy even though he was biting her fingers during the exam. She kept singing to him and explaining what she is going to do during the exam. I was very impressed. Our son sat through the entire cleaning and exam process without a tear which was important to us to ensure that his first visit is positive. I already decided to switch our other son to TLC from our family dentist since he is still little and would enjoy a more kid friendly and fun experience than our sterile and "boring" family dentist office which caters more to adults than children. It's amazing how many places get 5 stars, by the way don't trust googl reviews since they intentionally delete bad reviews. I took both of my kids there for cleaning, the technician who was not supposed to clean the teeth flossed his teeth and polished then the dentist came in to "clean" their teeth. Both dentists did not clean every tooth except a very few. Both cleanings were done in a few minutes that including examination. Many dental offices are doing this to avoid hiring a hygienist to save them cost so patients please don't feel happy when a dentist clean your teeth. So sad every dentist is getting away with this. read more

We are blown away by the performance of the staff. Our first experience was definitely a great one. They even place their new patient's names on a welcome board!! Xavier felt famous. Receptionists were welcoming. Jessica the hygienist was so nice with my son. Very thorough and efficient. Very engaging in a professional manner and friendly. Dr Cindy was amazing and kind. She used words I could easily understand. My son would normally feel uncomfortable but he walked in and was positive from start to finish. We love TLC. Dr. Nikko and staff are always so kind. Completely understanding when you have 3 rambunctious little boys there also. The boys love the play area and think it is so cool that there are iPads inside the wall. The dental assistants are kind and gentle also and really help make it a wonderful experience. They really encourage good oral hygiene and have a special wall for cavity free kids. I didn't even know this but they do a drawing for all the cavity free kids. One of my children won and got a cool sonicare toothbrush and stuffed bear. He was so excited. I highly recommend TLC! read more

They were so great about talking to me about it and were non judgmental and made me feel a lot better considering most of my family members make me feel bad about it. Today was our first visit to TLC and it was such a great experience. They remind you via text the appointment a week before and two times on the day of your appointment. That was a huge life saver because I totally forgot. The facility was so clean, simple and kid friendly. The perks of them having coffee for momma was a plus since our appointment was in the morning. My 4 year-old daughter had a bad experience with a previous dentist and it left her traumatized. I did a lot of research to find a good pediatric dentist and decided to give TLC a try today. They went above and beyond to make my daughter comfortable, and were so patient with her being reluctant and her non-stop crying. My kids actually ASK to go to the dentist! I have two kiddos and we are always promptly seen by the hygenists and dentist--usually they work on both kids simultaneously--so we're in and out in less than an hour. My kids watch movies while in the chair and I usually sit in a comfy loungechair next to them. My kids had cavities and the Doc was able to take care of it right then; my daughter was so engrossed in the movie she didn't even notice. Loved our first experience at this office! I recently took my toddler for his first dentist appointment here. As expected, he wasn't thrilled to go to the dentist. The staff was very friendly and great at helping to keep him entertained and happy during our visit. Dr Cindy sang to him as she cleaned his teeth to try to help calm him down.
