Dr. Jenny and her assistants were gentle, reassuring, and very thorough. It honestly felt like my daughter was the only patient being cared for. By the end of the visit she was loving all of the attention and didn't want to leave It was nice to be in an office where the staff interacted with my daughter, but they also focused on the importance of speaking to me directly and making sure I understood and was comfortable. Genius! I was able to relax which allowed me to help my daughter understand, participate, and cope. All of our options were explained in detail and I left feeling comfortable and confident about my 2 year old daughter's situation, and was able to make an informed decision. This was our first visit which was for an unfortunate tooth injury, but Dr. Jenny and her staff made the search for the perfect pediatric dentist for routine care a no-brainer! The office is bright and open with a fun colorful theme. Thoughtfully designed for children all ages so they can grow with Dr. Jenny and staff!

Our 18 month old baby had his first dentist appointment today and it was so great! Upon arrival,…read moreyou park at a designated parking spot and let the front desk know so you can fill out paperwork in car due to covid or if you're comfortable coming in, entering with mask to fill out in the waiting room. It is such a great environment for pediatric care and littles with teeth. Our baby has teeth still erupting but he was able to get his check up, cleaning, flossing, and fluoride administered. Dr. Gregerson was so kind and so was our dental assistant and the front desk folks who helped us every step of the way and calmed mom and dad's nerves. While baby did not like it, they walked us through how to get squirmy baby in and out and did the cleaning with such finess and speed both my husband and I were stunned with how quickly that went, we were both in awe at how he was able to floss baby's tiny teeth. Everything is looking great on his development of teeth, and we look forward to setting these healthy habits so our little one looks forward to a great bill of health. The fact that they are so happy to provide positive reinforcement for anxious kids is so appreciative for us as first time parents. Even more fun was seeing they help play movies like Cars for our baby and there were even video games that my husband indulged in. We can't wait to return in 6 months when our baby goes back so we can keep up making sure his teeth and mouth are in top shape.

Five of my six children are new patients here. As much as my oldest would love it here, she's 20,…read moreso she sees another dentist :-). The kids & I enjoyed the experience from start to finish. To walk in and see their names in a sign was such a delight. Front desk staff is friendly, quick, & professional. After signing some things on a tablet, the kids were brought right in. It was five children, so they took up all five seats in the room . The dental hygienists were sweet & did a great job making the kids feel comfortable; even my 3 year old. The dentist was just as great. I totally thought we would be there for at least two hours between sign-in, five X-rays, five cleaning, five exams, & check-out, but they are so efficient and with their work "flow", we were in and out within an hour and five minutes. The place is clean and decorated nicely. My girls loved the sparkly wall up front & my toddler was LOVING the painted teeth on the walls. Super cute. Highly recommend.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding my 4-year-old son's…read moredental cap appointment on Tuesday, August 4, because, despite multiple attempts to contact your office directly since the visit, I have been unable to get a response. My son is 4 years old. He was given the Benadryl/diazepam oral sedation mixture but spit it out because he did not like the taste. Rather than allowing additional time to work with him, we were repeatedly told that we were running out of time, including being told that we only had 15 minutes remaining. The interaction felt very rushed and pressured. When he would not take the medication, staff then suggested that my husband hold our 4-year-old son down while they squirted the medication into his mouth. My husband declined because we were not comfortable with that approach to administering medication to our child. We ultimately left without the sedation being successfully completed and without the dental procedure being performed. There was also a concerning medication communication issue during the visit. We were initially told that our son would be receiving Demerol, and only after I questioned this were we told that staff meant diazepam. I am a nurse, and I was particularly concerned to hear that an opioid medication was being referenced as the intended medication for my 4-year-old. Demerol is a medication I am very familiar with through my work in oncology, so hearing one medication and then being told that a different medication was actually intended was concerning, regardless of whether this was a verbal mistake. What is particularly frustrating is that we are now being charged $475 for this visit -- a $100 deposit that was retained, plus an additional $375 charge. My understanding is that the additional $375 charge was because my son spit out the oral sedation. The dental procedure itself was never performed. I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply want a clear, itemized breakdown of the $475 we have been charged. I would like to know exactly what each charge represents and what services were actually provided for those charges, including whether they are for medication, staff time, a facility fee, or something else. I would also like copies of all paperwork signed during the visit, including consent forms, treatment forms, and financial/payment agreements, as we were not provided copies at the time. Please also clarify how the $475 already paid/charged will be handled given that my son's dental caps still need to be placed. At this point, based on our experience, we do not feel comfortable returning to the practice for his future dental care, so I would also like clarification regarding any amount that should be refunded or otherwise applied. I have now called the office twice and left two voicemails, and I have also submitted two inquiries requesting a response. I have received no call back or other response, and I have not been provided with an email address through which I can communicate with the office. I am therefore contacting you through Yelp as a last resort simply because I have been unable to get anyone from the office to respond. I would appreciate a written response addressing the $475 charge, the requested itemized breakdown, the paperwork from the August 4 visit, and how the amount already paid will be handled. Thank you, Stephanie

I highly recommend Dr. Vasut and his office. We have been going to him for eight plus years now…read moreand would not want to go to any other pediatric dentist! I originally took my son to Dr. Vasut for a second opinion. He was recommended by a preschool teacher who had had a good experience. The dentist we had been seeing for the previous few years was proposing some drastic work to be done, including putting him under, which I did not think was necessary considering his demeanor and ability to cooperate. From the moment we walked in the door at Cedar Park Pediatric Dentistry, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Dr. Vasut spent time talking with, listening and getting to know my son before ever looking in his mouth. He reviewed the X-rays we had brought with us (didn't request that we retake X-rays on his machines.) He spent time listening to my rendition of the other dentist's prognosis after giving his opinion. The verdict was that my son did not need the level of work that the other dentist had proposed, nor would he need sedation for a cavity. Of course I was relieved that his professional opinion agreed with my gut feel. I was extremely impressed by how he interacted with me and my son. We immediately switched to Dr. Vasut. I have recommended him multiple times to friends and have only heard good experiences. One of my friends had done the whole braces routine with one child, has a non-brusher for her other child and she continues to love Dr. Vasut and recommend him! We have been through many cavities (my son was prone to them with his baby teeth), Dr. Vasut and staff have always been firm in reinforcing the hygiene without shaming or being mean. We have watched difficult baby teeth that are in the way of the adult teeth and determined whether to pull or not. (One my son was able to work out the other we pulled a year later before it became a real issue. The root on the second one was 2/3 the length of the tooth!) My daughter goes to Dr. Vasut too and really likes him. She has had less challenging teeth, so there are less interesting stories for her... It is never a battle to get my kids to the dentist office. Both kids like the games in the waiting room, the coin rewards and putting their name in the trout! We are in the middle of doing braces on my son. The timelines and steps have been clearly communicated. Billing has been efficient and straight forward. The office is always clean and welcoming. The appointments are timely and efficient, rarely have we had to wait after our appointment time, and often they have taken the kids early if we are there. The front desk staff is welcoming and wonderful at working to schedule kids together for multiple appointments (like cleanings with braces checks). I am very thankful that we have found this group and appreciative of their ongoing hard work.

Tooth Fairy Magic: Why We Drive Miles for Texas Tooth Fairies!…read moreImagine walking into a pediatric dental office where your children aren't met with fear, but with genuine warmth and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. That's exactly what we experienced at Texas Tooth Fairies, and it's why we happily make the drive from Lakeway, even if scheduling can sometimes be a juggling act. From the moment we walked in for our initial appointment, the staff was warm, professional, and welcoming. The waiting area, adorned with cheerful seasonal decorations and engaging activities, put our kids at ease immediately as they went to the playrooms. The patient area is so well organized, brightly lit, and comfortable for those who have a couple of kids being seen simultaneously. When another child who was sitting a few chairs down from my kids was experiencing some first-time-dentist jitters, the hygienists and the doctor interacted with the child (and the child's parents) in a way that calmed everyone down, creating a peaceful and reassuring atmosphere. This kind, patient approach immediately put my kids at ease, despite their usual apprehension about dental visits. This level of care and attentiveness continued throughout our follow-up visit. The hygienists were incredibly gentle and informative, explaining each step of the cleaning process to our children in a way that kept them engaged and comfortable. Dr. Singletary, with her expertise and friendly demeanor, addressed our concerns thoroughly, ensuring we felt confident about our children's dental health. Beyond the exceptional clinical care, it's the genuine warmth and positive energy that truly sets Texas Tooth Fairies apart. The staff's enthusiasm is infectious, creating a fun and welcoming environment for both children and parents. They patiently answered my questions about appointments and billing, ensuring we understood everything clearly. Texas Tooth Fairies isn't just a dental practice; it's a place where children feel safe, valued, and even a little bit excited about taking care of their teeth. It's this dedication to providing a positive and personalized experience that makes us recommend them wholeheartedly, even with the occasional scheduling challenge. So, if you're looking for a dental practice that prioritizes both excellent care and a positive experience for your children, look no further than Texas Tooth Fairies! They truly are the tooth fairy magic we all wish for!

This entire practice has been a wonderful experience each time we have gone and we have always been impressed by their care, insurance coverage and scheduling of appointments can be a little hard because they're so popular. But we really like how they make the dentist a safe, comfortable experience for the children and if only adult dental practices could be this gentle and welcoming! My kiddo always loves having the choice of a movie and toothpaste flavor, and the older kids can always have a blast at the front with a small waiting room. The best is it's a 2 minute drive from our house, so we enjoy the proximity and quality of care, winning all around!
