We've been coming to Texas Tooth Fairies to see Dr. Gregerson for a few years now that we've had our son. This entire practice has been a wonderful experience each time we have gone and we have always been impressed by their care, insurance coverage and scheduling of appointments can be a little hard because they're so popular. But we really like how they make the dentist a safe, comfortable experience for the children and if only adult dental practices could be this gentle and welcoming! My kiddo always loves having the choice of a movie and toothpaste flavor, and the older kids can always have a blast at the front with a small waiting room. The best is it's a 2 minute drive from our house, so we enjoy the proximity and quality of care, winning all around! read more

AWFUL! DON'T GO HERE. No customer service. My son is autistic, and the morning of my appointment, I spent over one hour with him during a huge meltdown over going to school. I was with the Principal, his SPED teacher, the school nurse, and two other assistants when Tooth Fairies texted that I could snag a cancelled appointment off the waitlist. I thought--what a perfect opportunity to help my son and get something done. Boy, was I wrong. The front office had terrible to almost no communication. They have no idea what I'm going through as a parent of an autistic child. I made two appointments (one for my son and a second for my daughter), they cancelled both appointments when they gave me the "waitlist appt" that morning, without telling me. I asked them to fix the situation, and they refused to help, and blamed me for the mix-up. This all happened in a matter of a couple hours. The disorganization is one thing, but they were so rude to me about it all, and refused to take any responsibility. I said to them that I just wish they'd apologize for the confusion, and try to sort things out. They refused to acknowledge any screw up/miscommunication on their part. Awful business sense. Awful customer service. Awful company overall. Do not give them your business. You will be disappointed. sad company overall. And they know I'm a special needs mother, and treated me terribly. We're seeing Dr Singletary from past 8years and glad we chose TTF, Dr Singletary is one of the best out there, when we first took our kid to TTF we were so tensed and my kid wasn't an easy one at that time(he was a toddler)but she has so much patience with kids, so calm, so passionate and she loves her job, after couple of appointments when I say dentist appointment to my son, he looks forward to it, they have a kid friendly waiting room, all the hygienist and Singletarys assistant are super nice, kids can pick out there favorite videos to watch(they have a awesome collection), while undergoing cleaning and other treatments, they make kids comfortable with blankets, books and once everything is done, they get a small prize to pick at front desk. As other reviewers have mentioned, getting appointment with Singletary is tuff but when your kid needs her, she'll be there, my kid had a dental trauma while sparring and his permanent tooth was a bit wiggly, her office was closed so left a message to her, she reached us out herself and took care everything the very next day. When it comes to my kids dental stuff, I completely trust Dr Singletary! The office, restrooms, examine rooms everything will always be super clean. read more

We love Dr Gregerson at Texas Toothfairies! My daughter who is almost 14 has been seeing him since she was a toddler - we followed Dr Gregerson to Texas Toothfairies from another practice and we couldn't be happier with the dental care she's received over the years. He's always so patient and gentle and at her last appointment he spent extra time with her making sure her bite was just right after having a filling. My younger daughter, who is 6, has some sensory issues and doesn't like medical and dental appointments. Again, Dr Gregerson has been so patient and kind and gentle toward her that she doesn't even mind going to the dentist now. His assistants and hygienists are also so patient and friendly and do a great job. The office staff is also great - again, kind and friendly and so easy to work with. The office itself is absolutely beautiful - open and airy and warmly decorated which makes for a relaxing environment for the kids. We love Dr Gregerson and Texas Toothfairies! read more

I took my 3 year old here for her second experience with the dentist. The whole experience was wonderful for both mommy and baby at all contact points from start to finish. Everyone made an effort to get her relaxed and entertained. Staff explained everything at her level of understanding and then to parent at a level that was easy to understand and relate to as well. The dentist saw her for only a quick time but he was thorough enough to warrant trust and confidence. The parking was easy. The registration and paperwork was efficiently processed ahead of time. Customer service explanation of what is to be expected, what insurance covers, procedures, etc.. was all clear. The whole office properly followed Covid protocols. The whole place met my sanitary standards especially the bathrooms! I am hoping the service continues to be like this all the time. read more

I am so impressed with Dr. Singletary! Referred by a dear friend who said her little kids love going to the dentist and we needed one desperately because our son was in pain and our current pediatric dentist isn't as kid-friendly or patient as he used to be and their front office staff is sorta rude. So I did a shout-out to my friends and many recommended Dr. Watts but several referred her saying she used to work with him. We did a check with Dr. Watts and his rates for self pay was sky high. Dr. Singletary's rates were reasonable and they even squeezed us in knowing he was in pain. Plus they gave us a 10% self pay discount. Plus future notice, they take our IBM insurance so that's good. First check up she did multiple x-rays and gave us one for free because she wanted to get a better look at a tooth. Who does that? They squeezed him in again couple days later to do the procedures. I got there at 11:30 thinking I will have to wait all day because she squeezed us in but they were so good. I waited about 30 minutes and was out of there in an hour and half. My child ended not needing a crown or spacer and she was honest enough to not charge that and forgo the cost of that for us. She was so kind throughout too. Talking to him, reassuring and praising him for being brave. I came home recommending her to ALL my friends. She's amazing. To top it off, look at my pictures of her clinic. How cute is that? Her clinic is so kid-friendly and there are fun games to play while you wait. The whole clinic is just so darn cute. Loved everything about this place. He got 2 extractions, 2 fillings braved it without gas all the while watching a movie. He was that comfortable there! I can't say enough good things about her She even called to check up on my son as promised! Yes I heard only downfall is that she's so well liked that cleanings schedule out 6-9months. I can handle that plus a drive to see her. But if there's an issue she schedules you in. Gotta love her! read more

My almost 16 year old triplets have been with Dr. Singletary since they were 3 years old! We followed her to Texas Tooth Fairies from her previous practice and this is hands down the best pediatric dental clinic! Dr. Singletary is awesome and we love the staff as well who are always nurturing and supportive and they remember little tidbits and facts about their patients. Dr. Singletary and her staff have provided amazing care for my son. We have had fillings, extractions, and crowns performed and the experience has always been positive. When my little man is feeling anxious, they always provide him age appropriate advice/distraction. We have experienced a couple different techniques from light sedation, to nitrous and local anesthetic only. When we are finished, he is able to choose from a nice selection of cool toys, as his prize. If you want quality care with comforting professionals, this is the place to take your kiddos! There is not a better pediatric dentist in the entire Austin area! Dr. Pamela Singletary is wonderful, caring, fun, and extremely professional. Her entire staff is the exact same way! The "patients" are not really patients but are truly family! My daughters have seen Dr. Singletary for over eight years. Each and every visit has been wonderful! This office was amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive and the office was just impeccable on design and cleanliness. Now to the tough stuff! My son was not having any part of the whole dentist procedure. The first technician Andrea was so pleasant and patient. She wasn't able to do much but tried her hardest anyway. When Dr. Singletary approached my son, she had a very pleasant and calming demeanor! Dr. Singletary was beyond kind and professional and I can see why I was referred to this office. Dr. Pamela Singletary is amazing and her office is perfectly designed for children, complete with a custom playhouse in the parking lot area and two waiting room playrooms decked out with toys and games. My two year old needed some serious work done on her two front teeth and I was so impressed with the way Dr. Singletary calmly and patiently repaired her teeth while my daughter screamed her dismay and wiggled like crazy. Y'all know it's impossible to reason with a toddler or keep them still and yet Dr. Singletary, her wonderful assistant Kelly Reeves and her entire staff went above and beyond to fix my little girl's teeth and kept reassuring her throughout the entire procedure. I'm in awe and I don't even know how Dr. Singletary was able to do such complex work on such a small work space under such stressful conditions...kudos and props from this grateful and impressed mom. The front staff is pleasant and efficient, and everything was explained to me clearly. The entire staff goes out of their way to make the patient and parent and even extra siblings comfortable- popsicles before yucky tasting medicine, tons of kids movies, toys and books in every room. They make the dentist experience as pleasant as it can possibly be and my kids will never forget the wall of drawers full of prizes to pick from at the end of each visit! Just perfect for kiddos! This was the best service my son has ever received! I totally recommend Dr. Singletary and her staff. From the minute we walked in until we left my son was treated so awesome. Once we was put in the chair they gave him some sunglasses and let HIM pick a show that he wanted to watch. Then they put a TV right above him and gave him some headphones. He was right as ease! The assistant was so sweet and helpful. Then when Dr. Singletary came in she was so nice and explained everything so well. I'm going to tell all of my friends to take their kids there! Imagine the kindest, gentlest, most positive dental experience you can for your child and that is what we got. My 5 year old child was facing general anesthesia for her dental work and they were able to do it without resorting to that extreme and my child left the office as happy as could be! We went here a couple years ago and for cleanings and such it was great. My son loved going to the dentist, they have great toys! All was fine here until my son's crown ripped. He had done this to his crown once before making it ridiculously sharp. He got the crown 5 years ago for a broken tooth in NM. Our other dentist in NM had no issues removing it and replacing it in about 10 minutes when the second one ripped. My son had no issues and no sedation or laughing gas or needles were needed. Sat like a total champ and was never afraid of the dentist. Dr. Singletary though was baffled by this idea of not needing anything and in front of my 9 year old kept saying how painful it was going to be. He started to worry but was still ok. Her approach and bedside manner was terrible and continued to panic him and whatever she did really hurt him when she started. So she recommended laughing gas. I agreed to try it but told her it probably wouldn't help since he wouldn't breathe through his nose. I was right. She did a little more but she got really frazzled by his tooth and upset with him being a bit scared so she said we would have to give him something else. She then gave him novacaine which he had never had with no warning or telling him what she was doing. He was even more freaked out. At this point the crown has a ripped piece of metal on his bottom molar sticking straight up. He couldn't close his mouth without this crazy sharp metal poking into his top tooth or roof of his mouth. She left him to sit there and wait. He cant feel his mouth and kept closing his mouth causing cuts to his mouth and cheeks. She came back a few minutes later and poked around again and then she tells me we have to sedate him. They give him some red liquid and then a sucker to help with the taste... but he still all the while has this metal piece cutting his mouth and cheeks so the lollipop did more harm having him close his mouth on it. She finally tried for more than a couple seconds and was then able to get the crown off and new one on. They had us wait a few minutes and then said we could go. My son couldn't walk on his own and they never even offered to help us get to the car. It was awful. Never again. She is fine for routine cleanings but I would never recommend her. It was the worst experience ever. School pics were a few days later and his lip and cheek was so swollen. Great memories to look back on... and now, thanks to her, he hates the dentist. Two hours for a ten minute procedure. read more

This is a very difficult review for me to write as a general rule I LOVE this facility and the staff. It is beautiful, well organized, the play areas are great, the staff is very friendly and our experiences have been wonderful... until today. I chose a pediatric dentist because it is a specialty - pediatric dental offices are designed in every way for children. Their experiences as children shape what kind of relationship they will have with their dental health in the future. If all you ever do is take your kids to get their teeth cleaned and they leave happy, that is success! Today my 5 year old went in to have fillings done, for a 5 year old this is a big deal, this is where going to a pediatric dentist should pay off - instead it was a horrible experience for both of us. He had 2 small cavities on each side. He was given a sedative and nitrous. The first side was smooth, everything went perfect. The 2nd side was a nightmare. The sedative started to wear off and there was little to no communication with me on what was happening and what our options were. I wanted to pump the brakes but the teeth were open and needed to be sealed. I understand all the decisions that were made, but they were not made in partnership with me, they were not made with his comfort in mind. I got the feeling they were made with a clock in mind. We could have gotten this experience anywhere. I expected far more from this establishment. I had to hold him down writhing and screaming and crying and manage manage not to cry myself. They took out the mouthpiece long enough to tell him to hang in there we are almost done and then put it back in. This was a traumatic experience for him and it shouldn't have been. If i had to make a recommendation based on today's experience i would not come back. I have not yet decided if we will. read more

Wow. I'd let my husband take the kids to all their regular check-ups, but this afternoon my kid chipped her tooth so I called them at 4:10 and asked what to do. They said they turned their phones off at 4:30, but they'd wait for me even though I was far enough away that I wouldn't be able to arrive until after 5:00. At 5:10 I screeched in. I was crazy mom with rush hour adrenaline with a teary kid convinced she wouldn't be able to eat candy on Halloween the next day. I was a wreck. Dr. Singletary's staff was awesome, taking my kid immediately in for an xray and Dr. Singletary was looking at the xray and my kid within 3 minutes after we got there. Within 30 minutes, Dr. Singletary and her assistant had assessed that the chip wasn't that bad, placed a tooth patch, and talked my kid into a smile (watching Zootopia during the patch helped) and me back from the edge. Dr. Singletary explained all the possible effects to expect and worry (or mostly not) about, reassured my kid about Halloween candy (fine to eat) and the permanent fix (in 10 days), and then her staff explained to me what to expect from our insurance (another story, haha). I can't believe the level of customer service after 5 PM!!!!!! Amazing -- no one was rushing us out the door, either. I can't thank them enough and I owe a special, extra big thank you to Julie, the staffer who fielded my call at 4, reassured me at 4:25 they would be waiting for us, and met me at the door at 5:10 when we arrived and was so patient with me in my crazed state. I truly appreciate the entire team that met us today -- what a treasure!!!!! Thank you again so much. read more

Dr. Singletary and each and every one of her staff is incredible! We drive out to Cedar Park from central Austin because my 11 year old son LOVES going to the dentist due to the amazing care we get at Texas Tooth Fairies. We've been seeing Dr. Singletary for 6+ years and each time I leave there feeling very grateful that we have such an amazing place for my son (who will hopefully never develop the aversion that many adults have regarding dental work!). The staff - from front desk to hygienists - are all warm, caring, and highly skilled. There is very little turnover, which speaks highly to it being a good place to work - and makes it a great experience every time. It does feel like family! We've had to have procedures done (both fillings and pulling a few teeth), and even though my kiddo hates anything "medical" and gets quite anxious, the staff is so wonderful that he leaves each time saying "that was really easy! I'm not sure why I got so worked up?" Having had both skilled and less-skilled dentists for myself, I can say that Dr. Singletary's skills are phenomenal - she is very quick and efficient and we've never had any complications. She even personally calls to follow up if needed. They've worked us in for more urgent issues and still are warm and patient despite being overbooked.
