I came across Loving Hands while on my search for infant care when I return to work. On my tour of the infant (non mobile room), I saw a baby left to feed themselves from a bottle, with nothing but a towel shoved underneath to prop it up and no teacher nearby supervising. I also saw an infant on the floor sleeping, half on a mat half on the carpet. They also had blankets covering sleeping infants, which is unsafe. The owner tried to argue with me about how it's totally acceptable and ok to have babies being treated this way. Needless to say, I will NOT be bringing my child here. read more

Just pulled our Kids from this daycare, owner is rude and disrespectful. The facility is filthy and has an odd smell I would normally associate with a dish pit in a busy restaurant. There's always a large dog unleashed and allowed to roam the facility. There has been multiple occasions where dug effected transients have have just wondered in unchecked. There isn't a better place to trust with your children. It's a family business which makes all the difference. The family is also morally upstanding. It's unfortunate to see such negative reviews because I think those of us who have benefited from Loving Hands are either not wanting to share the secret or too busy to write something positive. Our children have been here since infancy, our daughter is now starting preschool with them. She already shows so much promise and is ahead in her class. Historically kids who have gone through this daycare have been placed in special classes when they get to kindergarten because they actually learn here! The staff is so friendly and they have had some of the same teachers for a long time which gives our children comfort. In response to all the comments about kids constantly being sick here: I'm a registered nurse kids getting sick at daycare is not the daycare's fault. Kids spread things to each other no matter how much you clean. Case and point, when you clean at home you still manage to get sick from your child. When kids first start school or daycare it is not uncommon for them to be constantly sick. Also when they switch classrooms. Their immune systems get stronger and you will find your kids will be less susceptible and not as affected as other kids. Both my children attend their facility, my son since just after his first birthday and my daughter shortly after 7 weeks of age. The best center, so happy with our decision to employ Loving Hands! We were sad to leave due to military PCS but our child was there a few years. This is center is all family owned and has all awesome staff. Our son was learning so much so fast and is way above his learning level all because of the amazing teaching ways of this center. This is not just a Daycare Center! I highly recommend Loving Hands Jessica the owner has been nothing but awesome with our kiddo and has always went above and beyond to make sure our child's needs were met. My 3 kids went to this school years ago, but my main complaint is about the owner so figure it is still relevant. My kids were around 16 months (twins) and almost 4 years old (daughter) when they were going here. When we toured the location things appeared clean and kids seemed happy as well as staff. We were there 3 months before we decided to pull our children from this daycare. She yelled at my 3 year old and terrified her (she's 6 now and STILL remembers and talks about the "scary daycare lady") because of a minimal behavior issue that I could've just talked to my child about but couldn't because I wasnt told the problem until AFTER Jessica traumatized my child. We were ALWAYS sick, one stomach flu after the other, constant coughing and runny noses. They would claim they used all the diapers I provided for my children even though I bought the big Costco boxes for EACH of my children. It didn't add up and we were spending more on diapers then we ever had. It was always something about "well our back stock of your diapers is getting low" or something similar. My daughter would come home hungry every day. She would say "all I had was Graham crackers and cheese sticks or canned fruit and vegetables. So conclusion, if you want your child to be hungry and traumatized and you wanna spend hundreds on diapers then this is the place for you. Highly recommend!!! I have nothing but amazing things to say about Loving Hands Learning Center!!! We recently moved and were so sad to leave after almost 3 years!! They where with me through it all.. 4 kids, 2 births, Kindergarten, and COVID!! Four of my children had the privilege of being apart of the Loving Hands family; and that is exactly how they make you feel like family!!! Everyone who works there truly has a love and passion for children!! There PK program is great and was essential in getting my littles ready for Kindergarten. I couldn't have gotten through COVID without Loving Hands!! They assisted with at home learning for my Kindergartener and with two other kids learning at home I can't imagine what I would have done without them. I could go on and on. This is a review by a former employee, mother of one, and person who's worked in childcare for 8 years. I believe this daycare has the potential to be an amazing place to work or send one's child to, though, in my 6 months as an employee, I had noticed a few things that would benefit parents and potential employees to know. Everything I state is based on my own experience with this facility and is in the essence of knowledge. The employees are the backbone of any daycare. Without them the facility would not be able to run. The owner does not treat them kindly. I have seen her belittle the other teachers, I have seen her become angry and yell at teachers, I have heard her use fear speech to keep her employees afraid for their jobs, I have heard her verbally judge employees. She asks her teachers to be loyal to her facility and always be there when she needs them, but she is not kind to these women. She has zero empathy for their needs. All that seems to matter to her is that employees show up and do what she wants them to do. Which is reasonable for an employer to ask of employees, if she were paying these women a living wage. Many employees walk out on the job, quit after one day, quit without notice, don't ever show up again, come to work tired or sick, or don't give 100% to their teaching responsibilities because they are bullied by their boss and asked to do more then what they are paid for. The staff should be paid, at least, $15 an hour and offered health benefits. The teachers are the people working with the kids, if the teachers are not happy the children will suffer for it and that all starts with how management treats them. Let's talk about turnover of teachers at the facility. In 6 months the infant room had 5 new teachers, Dino Dig had 3 new teachers, and Bear Country had 8 new teachers. Children need stability. Young children thrive in predictable settings with nurturing, responsive, and individualized care. The relationships children have with their caretakers are the building blocks of healthy development, stability and security. These relationships are needed for establishing trust in their caretakers so they may more securely explore their environment. Childcare instability can be linked to negative behavioral expression in young children, this shows in a majority of the classrooms I have worked in in this facility. A great deal of the kids in the facility are coming from unstable households and into a learning environment where they are being taught that their teachers are also unstable, then acting out in the classroom. The early care and education setting support children's development of school readiness skills, so changes in caretakers within these settings can disrupt learning and development. Consider how long it takes some of these kids to warm up to strangers, and then ask them to go through that experience of anxiety and feeling unsafe in their environment over and over again throughout the year within the facility. The high turnover of teachers is damaging for the children in any daycare. Illness is a problem in this daycare. Both the children and the staff are constantly sick. In my 8 years of working with children I have never been more sick then in the 6 months I worked at this facility. The mats that cover the classrooms floors are the one thing that don't get cleaned everyday, they are also made of foam and most likely hold on to the most germs. Children drool, spit, sneeze, and barf on all of the mats and I only ever see them spot cleaned. Bacteria gets trapped in the pores, cracks, and underneath these foam mats and if they are not regularly cleaned then it's no wonder everyone is sick all the time. Health brings me to the topic of food. The food I've seen provided to the children at this facility is sub-par. For breakfast they eat sugary cereal. For snack they eat animal crackers, graham crackers, toasted bread with cinnamon and sugar, american cheese, canned fruit. Do you see the theme with these foods? They are all sugar based foods. Barely any protein or fresh fruit and vegetables. It's no wonder the children are angry shortly after snack time. They are still hungry and crashing from the sugar. Even the infants are being giving babies sugary yogurt and canned fruit, when babies should not be introduced to sugar so early on. My recommendation to any parent considering sending their child to this facility is: Take a tour, but request to sit in on the classroom your child will be in. Try to be in the room for 30min to an hour. This will give you a chance to see how things move though out the facility. Ask the teachers questions about their job and their ideals as caretakers of children. Ask how they are treated. Ask how long they have been there. Ask about discipline policies, make sure it lines up with your parenting. I understand that many families cannot afford more then a facility like this one, hopefully this will help families make knowledgeable decisions. read more

My son went here since he was 10 months to 5 years old. The staff are professional, caring and make sure the kids are having fun and learning. My son absolutely loved coming here and always told me the new things he learned. His eyes lit up when he gave me his art projects. I now work from home so he stays with me. They are flexible with part time, and after he got used to new germs (he was never in daycare before) he went 3 days a week. We moved at the outset of Covid. I would not trust this place with your kids. Especially if they require more attention. In early 2020 I send my children to this daycare. My daughter was in the infant room & my son was in with the big kids. They do not fill out the report paper that they are supposed to. My daughter was crying all day in their care. Even my son who was on the other side of the building told me he could hear his sister screaming all day. They tried making things up like saying my daughter had thrush and said she couldn't come back until I made an appointment and had her seen. And give them proof that I did or else they would call Cps ?! So I made an emergency visit to her pediatrician & they looked in her mouth and said she did not have it. So they not only wasted my time but also my money which they don't reimburse you. I finally had enough and stopped taking my children there. The women who runs it is not kind and throws on a big act in front of you but when parents aren't there she yells at the kids. I know bc one day I picked my kids up early with out telling them & walked in on her screaming at a 2 year old. Their employees have a contact that they are not allowed to speak on what happens in the daycare . Which should raise a HUGE concern. They will show you a book of "letters" that apparently parents have wrote their reviews about how "awesome " this place is and honestly the lady probably wrote them all herself. Today I dropped off my neice for the first time, I wasn't sure how to sign her in or where so I asked the owner for help, she immediately got a phone call and talked about how multiple kids had gone home with sores in their mouth caused by "Hand Foot Mouth" that right there made me question on why this place was still open if 2 or more have gone sent home because of this outbreak. i continued to wait patiently I wasn't in a hurry, a teachER who was so sweet offered to help me, then all of a sudden the owner aggressively hangs up the phone and says "no do not talk to her (the teacher) she is on break" and the teacher responded "I'm not on my break anymore" and the owner replies "well I told her to wait for me so I will help her" and the teacher had walked away and the owner looks at me and says "next time when I say wait for me to help you , you need to wait for me to help you because I don't know you" just so unprofessional to treat me like that as well as her employees. One star is prob generous! I had to get another daycare experience in order to confirm a fair review and constructive feedback to parents. I'll agree with the other parent's 1 star review as we had some similar experiences so I will not echo what has been mentioned. For the cost- may bare minimum expectation was for my toddlers to learn something outside of social skills and to make some headway towards potty training starting 2-2.5 years; well my kids were given zero training or support but were 100% trained at our current daycare within 2 weeks. There is some funny business around providing them with backup supply that never added up as well as finding loopholes to gain state/ tax benefits (from both private pay and state funded participants) programs. Well after gaining a new experience with professional ownership and staff; to include spectacular care (minor examples- my kids are never sent home with running/ dried up snot or poop diapers). I needed to provide my honest feedback so that other parents are not mislead (as I was by the high reviews on here). This place is truly a bad experience and set a bad connotation on daycares for my family. terrible first time daycare experience. long story short they were notified that we were putting in our 2 week notice shortly after they kicked our son out of daycare for climbing the book shelves and spilling milk and in her "15 years" shes never seen a 3 year old try to climb the fence. my husband had to leave work asap using up his leave hours and I was told I had to quit my job THAT day. they told my husband that our son may be autistic which is not something they should even say to us since they are not medics. I asked her why they didnt give him more than 4 hours to adjust since this was his first time around other kids and she basically told me they didnt want to invest the extra time into him since he was only going to be with them for 2 weeks. they also didnt plan on refunding our money until my husband brought up possible lawyers for the way they treated our family. I just wanted to warn you, this lady is just money hungry and didnt even want to invest the time we had paid for to work with my son. she gave him FOUR hours to adjust and decided he was a "danger" bc he was super excited and running around, climbing things, and not listening. TYPICAL 3 year old boy behavior. I will NEVER do business here again, nor suggest it to anyone. read more
