Naomi (the director) has been amazing about communication and keeping us as parents informed with any and every change as it comes. The teachers are patient and loving, you can tell they value how much of an impact they make on every child. I can't tell you enough how much effort is put in with activities and education. My son has brought home more art work than I have room for and I am always up to date through photos every week on what he's been up to. The menus are sent out the week before and its a well balanced diet that is easily mirrored/complimented at home. Again I cant say enough about this facility!

I want to start by saying that many of the teachers at this daycare are wonderful and genuinely…read morecare about the children. My concerns are not with the majority of the classroom staff, but with the overall leadership, communication, and management. Although the teachers are kind, there were many times when they appeared extremely overwhelmed by the number of children they were responsible for. It was difficult as a parent to see how stretched they seemed, and it raised concerns about whether the classroom staffing levels were appropriate and within Washington state requirements for child-to-teacher ratios. Unfortunately, our experience was heavily impacted by the Director, Amanda. Communication from leadership was one of the biggest challenges. There were many times when parents were left feeling unheard, unsupported, or unsure where to turn. Conversations often felt dismissive rather than collaborative. The expectations for children also felt unrealistic. Normal childhood behaviors and developmental challenges were sometimes treated as major issues, with the response feeling more like "you should get a nanny" rather than working together with families to support the child. Another concern was seeing an older school-aged child frequently spending time in the toddler classroom and interacting with the younger children. This raised questions about classroom structure and supervision. It is disappointing because there are caring teachers who clearly want the best for the kids, but strong leadership and respectful communication with families are equally important in childcare. Parents should feel like partners, not like they are walking on eggshells or being made to feel helpless. I also noticed that one recent five-star review specifically praising Amanda appears to come from someone identified as her office manager. Several reviews are from current teachers which feels very dishonest. I think it is important for prospective families to consider a variety of perspectives when reading reviews.

Everyone seemed very nice and although everyone was masked and provided appropriate safety measures on the tour, my child's teacher and at least two other individuals that work here do not believe in wearing a mask to protect the vulnerable children during this deadly pandemic. We had to un-enroll her after just two days here. To me, this demonstrated a poor lack of judgment among other things. Why wouldn't you want to protect the children you're teaching? I spoke with the director and she apologized and refunded all of our money. The issue with the staff not masking is complicated as they claimed a religious exemption to masking (which isn't a real thing)! We're two years into his pandemic. Wearing a mask isn't hard. I'm a nurse and wear one all day while caring for patients. It's not hard to protect yourself and others. It amazes me that I even have to write this right now but I want others to be aware before enrolling here in case keeping their children safe at preschool is a concern for them.

Second red flag: Whenever I would come to pick up my child, the (very young) teachers were huddled together talking and planning their weekends together, periodically stopping to yell at the children from across the room or play ground, and then back to talking about the sushi they were gonna eat. Third red flag: It appears that they only hire very young people. When you pay a large monthly tuition, you expect teachers with some sort of experience of formal education.
