I…read morecalled him yesterday morning after reading reviews on yelp and he made it out in the afternoon. I thought my HVAC fan motor was broken but it was really just a problem with the capacitor. I would have never known if I tried to fix this myself. I am always hesitant about calling a company to come do work because even the smallest little thing would cost me a few hundred dollars at least. As John was fixing and replacing things, he would also give little informational tidbits and explain what things were and what he was doing along the way. I can't say I didn't learn anything because I did pick up a few things here and there. He was very knowledgeable and definitely knew what he was doing. In the end, I would highly recommend John for all your HVAC needs. He does everything carefully and professionally at a VERY reasonable price.

When you setup a service call with Gemini Mechanical someone will show up at your location at the…read moretime that you agreed on. However, the technician they send is usually woefully unprepared. 1. Lacking essential equipment. 2. Inoperable diagnostic equipment due to dead or missing batteries. 3. Unfamiliar with your name-brand HVAC equipment. 4. Unfamiliar with diagnostic processes and unable to find root cause. 5. Disorganized and incomplete handoff from one technician to the next technician they send to work on your issue. 6. No followup. 7. No ownership or accountability. They will not own up to their mistakes. I had six years of lackluster service, many thousands of dollars wasted and I was an idiot not to fire them after the first couple of calls. I found a more responsible and competent company and my only regret is not having replaced Gemini Mechanical sooner. To show up to an appointment is perhaps worth 1.5 or 2 stars, but my unneccesary expenses due to incompetence brings the rating down to 1 star.

We can highly recommend Dave and his company all about Texas! I can honestly say the mini split is providing the most consistent temperature we've ever had in our house. So happy to say goodbye to our old HVAC. Mini split is so much more energy efficient because we won't lose cooling or heating going through ductwork in our home. Love it!!
