Robert and his team were exactly what I was hoping to find in a local installer. Robert showed up on time, performed a thorough on-site inspection, and provided a very competitive estimate. Everything was explained clearly, and he had a solid plan to resolve some unique challenges with our skylights so they could be properly insulated -- something other companies didn't even address. The crew went above and beyond my expectations. They arrived on time, were extremely clean and respectful of my property, and handled additional issues they discovered during installation, including leaky ductwork and older insulation that was blocking attic vents. They didn't just ignore those problems -- they fixed them. The results were immediate. I could feel the difference in the air conditioning temperature and airflow in the house while they were still working. That alone says a lot about the quality of their work. After replacing the old AC unit and the ductwork, we took a closer look and also realized the attic insulation situation was... well, abominable. Enter Jesús from Yeti Home Insulation, who came out promptly, gave us a thorough assessment, and--refreshingly--didn't try to upsell us. He explained that most of our existing insulation was still usable, and recommended simply adding new insulation on top to fill in the bare spots and thin areas. Smart, honest, and budget-friendly. Unless you want to throw your money away and then be ignored I would find another roofing company…read more Only 1 year after install I started noticing 1,000s of little rust dots all over my roof. The came out twice, speared some paint over two spots and called it a day. I obviously was not ok with that and now they have decided to just ignore me. Roof warranty won't step in because it's not the product it was the non English speaking installers and lack of quality control by Direct Metal. When they cut the metal the left little shavings everywhere and those shavings eventually started rusting all over the roof. I bet if more of their customers got up on their metal roof this is probably a common problem that they are going to find there is no warranty coverage for.

Few days before your crew was even done on our roof, we received an email congratulating us on the completion of our roof and how beautiful it is. The following is the final amount of $18,075 to be collected by someone . NOWHERE in the email asked if we were happy with the result. ( the roof was NOT even done when this email was sent out) . Clearly this is the SIGN that your company is GREEDY FOR MONEY . My husband called the project manager to stop by to point out what did NOT LOOK RIGHT. He then told us he would look into it but not forgetting to remind us the amount we owed them. We agreed to pay 15k first, then the rest after they fixed my roof. After he collected the 15k, he told my husband there was nothing he could do to fix it. Meanwhile I emailed your company to express my concern and NO ONE REPLIED MY EMAIL. I then contacted Tiny, the project manager. At first, he blamed our roof design, then offered us "200" OFF. If your company COULD NOT FIX a "200" mistake, that really told us a whole lot of meaning behind that. Either you DO NOT know how to fix it, or it could COST A FORTUNE to fix it that is why your company denied to fix it. SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY TO NOT EVEN BEING ABLE TO FIX "200" MISTAKE. Tiny then agreed to come out to take a look again, this time he said he would send a crew out to fix. Few weeks passed by, a crew came and fixed it . I contacted Tiny to let him know, he came out again and asked "ARE YOU SURE THEY DID IT YESTERDAY? IT LOOKED THE SAME". Apparently your company irresponsibility assigned unskilled workers to fix your problem (We would think your company would have to send your best workers out ) Again, Tiny ordered another crew out to fix the 2nd time. The result came out of course it was better than "THE WORST" but nowhere near as beautiful as in the email they sent to collect money. We are now left with a UGLY METAL ROOF for another 30-50 YEARS. Getting a roof done, especially paying so much extra for HIDDEN FASTEN METAL ROOF , is an investment for our house value but now it's ruined by your company. In your company advertisement, it falsely said "nobody installs more residential Metal Roofs than us"; please feel free to explain this POORLY CRAFTSMANSHIP . DO NOT TRY TO FOOL US by saying because of our roof design that was the best we could get. I here attached other company's work so you can SHAMELESSLY compare . We felt HOPELESS in making our voices heard in your company; from being ghosted to MY COMPLAINT EMAILS ( you emailed my husband AGAIN SHAMELESSLY asking for payment). We got THREATEN to put a lien on our house if we refused to pay the final amount. Let us make this clear to you, we agreed to pay the final amount NOT BECAUSE WE ARE SATISFIED WITH YOUR WORK. I live in a condo beachside, so our systems are exposed to a lot of the elements which can significantly age them overtime. Especially the outside rooftop unit. My air conditioner was an old Rheem work horse that had been there since 05. The roof unit continued struggling to remain operational although time and weathering had taken its toll. The inside unit was a beast, very dependable, but was beginning to fail and would only run for a few seconds at a time. After having performed by a few other companies I decided to go with freedom. I noticed on their website they advertised a veterans special giveaway contest that you could enter. Several of my friends filled out the form and recommended me to be entered into the contest as I am a military veteran . After not hearing anything for sometime, I gave them a call and inquired about it but nobody knew anything about the "contest" and said that the website has not been updated for sometime. Either way I had them come out and write out an estimate, which also included a number of features of follow up maintenance and inspections etc. As expected, as any business would, they would suggest the highest in unit system to be installed. However I elected to go with the less expensive system which was still a solid system with a great reputation for reliability and longevity. So you can expect to pay anywhere between $7000-$15,000 depending on how much of an area you need coverage for and how much you are willing to spend. Obviously the end systems would last longer income with more features etc. The crew arrived and wasted no time removing the old system from inside the home and on the roof. A crane was brought out to bring the new unit up and onto the roof which is only two stories fortunately. After the air handler inside my home was removed, closet was cleaned and prepped. The new unit installed, and fresh coat applied everywhere, and sealed to ensure efficiency. After all installation was complete, the crew performed a number of test on the roof and inside the home to ensure the unit was working properly and at peak efficiency. Very professional and knowledgeable crew who seem to really care about their work because it has their name on it. They gave me $1000 discount for being a veteran. Out the door was around $7000. For me, worth every penny because of the quality of their installation and knowledge of their craft. The system has been in for a few months now without any issues, I'm saving more money and it's peace of mind as summer will be here before you know it!
