Orange county roofing was recommended to me by a former roofing company, now retired.. I was having construction done on my home, and the moving of some walls created several unforeseen roofing leaks.. Owner said he'd come out and take a look to see if it could be repaired or replaced.. He sent out a repair guy who said there was "absolutely no reason" to go with the company (who showed up at the same time) and gave a quote on a complete new roof.. he could fix the issue. Since we were in the middle of a remodel, time and money were issues and we decided to go with them and the repair even though a new roof wasn't going to cost that much more. Well, the fix didn't fix the problem and they've been out now a total of 3 times.. Andy the owner came out after call #2 and said that he wouldn't reshingle the roof, but instead put up a much more expensive modified roof on my home because of the pitch.. He was the only roofer to say this, and this is where my feelings towards the company turned sour.. Because if he would have come out to view the house, like he said he would, PRIOR to the repair, during inspection and said this, i could have saved the almost 2k i paid for the repair and instead only paid another 1.5k for a new roof!! He then, after the second leak, said he'd be out personally to completely the 3rd repair on it.. He didn't come out, the same guy who was fixing it originally did.. Nothing against the guy who completed the repairs, but its 2 stars, because had i have been told up front they wouldn't reshingle the roof, or not have been told this would absolutely fix the problem, i would have just went ahead with a new roof from a competing company.. I'm not sure if the repairs have actually taken this time.. but, after a complete remodel of the interior i'm left with a patchy looking roof and a worry every time it rains. Therefor, i can't in any good conscious recommend this company. read more

Still in progress but so far so good. My technician was Mr. Bill. Showed me everything that was going on and explain to me what they would do to correct the problem. Will be back to update after the job is done and pictures. OK the job is completed. Mr. Bill got to the house early in the morning and started working. By the time I got there he was almost done. I went on the roof and saw his work and that made us feel even better being able to see what he actually did up there. Great job. Would highly recommend this guy and company. read more

Picking a roofing company is not an easy task. It's a big ticket item that if it's not done right it can cost a lot of money to fix. So when looking i wanted a good company with a good proven record that is been around for a long time . I looked at 3 different roofing companies and Orange County was the friendliest, most knowledgeable and the one that has been around the longest. Pricing is usually a big factor because i usually want a good deal but most companies were around the same amount. I have two skylights and even though some other companies appeared cheaper in paper, some didn't included new skylights or charged double the price to replace bad wood. (so keep this in mind and don't just look at the big number on the paper) I had to get a new roof for insurance purposes so when i mentioned this Orange county mentioned that they also do Wind mitigation services. Which is a way to reduce your insurance cost. Having them do this while they install the new rood is the best way and quickest way to do it. So this extra service was a big plus for us. I have a pitched shingle roof on a busy street with limited parking. Orange country was able to work just fine in this scenario and managed to do the work in schedule. The workers were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and keep the area extremely clean. They laid tarp to catch debris and cleaned while working and keep the area extremely clean while working and when finished my yard and back yard was cleaner than it was when they got there. My new roof and my new skylights look amazing and my wife and i are extremely happy with the results. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family. read more

Each year I looked at my roof and dreaded the day I would have to make the decision to get a new roof. This was the year I realized I could wait no longer so I started doing my research. Time to check out Yelp. Orange County Roofing has a great rating on Yelp and an A+ rating with BBB. I called one roofing company who never bothered to call me back, I guess they had just too much business to be bothered with a little house like mine. I had the additional issue with a hot water solar panel on my roof and when I couldn't get any response from the company that installed the panel, Andy made arrangements for it to be disconnected and reinstalled. Everything from permits to how long the job would take was explained in detail. Jeff and Andy kept in touch with me throughout the job, keeping me updated on the progress. The workers were friendly, hard working and even in this brutal heat they were able to complete the job on time. Don't bother - I called Orange County Roofing to fix a roof leak. I was told they would be out that week. A week later--nothing. I called back and was told "we'll definitely get out this week". No communication that they were running a week behind. And no chance to confirm an actual date. Had they told me from the beginning they wouldn't be out for two weeks I would have gone with a different company. Now the leak has grown significantly and I have to start over. read more

Andy made some great recommendations (replacing our chimney surround) and additional ventilation points to keep the house cooler. The entire crew was timely and professional. We had Orange County Roofing replace the roof on our 1920's Mediterranean home. A combination of eleven flat, sloped and barrel tile roofs. Wow! What an amazing job they did. Clean, courteous, on schedule and on budget! They re-sloped the main flat roof, simplifying our roof drain system, replaced a platform for an on roof A/C system that allowed for a much simpler dry in, and repaired other issues along the way.
