I wish I could give this dental company -100. zeros. They are HORRIBLE!!! They are quacks . I am sure the dentist didn't go to school. I went for my regular cleaning, the lady intentionally kept poking my Gum, to the point my mouth was full of blood, she later said I needed to pay $99 to buy something from them to stop my Gum bleeding which she caused intentionally, just to sell me their nonsense products. I turned it down, but they ended up infecting my mouth with their unethical practices. A month after, I went to them that they should prescribe Peridex for me. The lady that I met, said they can't because I have a healthy gum, and that if I thought I needed it, they would have to see me again and would have to pay for consultation. Dental services fine. Don't like the changes in front office staff. Last time, all new staff. they said I had a co play. My insurance does not have a co pay, but a rate of what they will pay per service. While billing showed the rate, they included a $50 co pay along with what my insurance deductible. I wish I looked here before choosing this facility has my dental care provider. They have no consideration for patient's time or value. After my first cleaning treatment I set an appointment for a cavity closeup. On the day of my appointment, they had me wait for 2 hrs before letting me know I couldn't see the doctor and had to reschedule. I come back for my new appointment, and I noticed the price of the procedure has gone up about 50%. They tell me that was April and this is June, even though it's their fault I had to do it now and they didn't even have the decency to inform me about the change when it happened. So, I'm just going to choose another dental care facility as my provider. These guys are not getting a single extra dollar from me or my insurance. 4/26/2022 This disorganized place Oh where should I start, the simplest thing that I wanted was a cleaning, two cavities, a cap, and a crown. I went to the Lovett Dental on Highway Six, where they took two X-rays, but this is where it gets so mixed up on their part, I can't recall her name but I know she was an African American woman expecting birth yeah I'm all for equality in the workplace, however, she told me that I needed a deep root planing, and in the lower fourth right quadrant a tooth needed filling because there was a cavity in the back of it and the tooth next to it needed to be filled also. So I went down to another Lovett Dental where the Manager, treatment Coordinator by the name of Aida Covic, already had access to my medical records, but failed to read if I had hypertension or find out what type of Hypertension medication that I was taking, so early this morning I had a ten-thirty appointment. I sat in the examination chair to get my first hypertension check 160/80, and my second was 161/84, This caused me to get very upset and I had stormed out to my partner to let him know they are using this prejudiced tactic not only to treat me but to scam my health insurance, no no you're not scamming me Aunt Bam, but I am a Big Bold African American Man with a health condition. This should not be tolerated at any and all Lovett Dental, but it does not matter what size, color-, or sex all patients should be treated with care, dignity, and respect-, so I went to another Dentist to get a second opinion and as it turns out they took complimentary X-rays-, because I had old and current Xrays pictures. The examination showed in the upper left quadrant needed two cavities filled, a scrape and special fluoride brush cleaning-, and a cap and crown, for which     I had to come out of pocket 57.00 the cap and crown $235.00. I Purchased teeth cleaning with Groupon, at Louetta location. I called them before going there and I said I need only general teeth celaning.if is ok, than I can come and they said ok. When I was there people who works there were so rude, they said we can't do general cleaning because according to them I need a deep cleanig which I can't afford that because I already purchase general cleaning. RUN AWAY! Do not under any circumstances get dental work here. I was overcharged more than $1,000 for work I had done, which my insurance is paying out since they refuse to contact me for any reason now. The lack of professionalism by the dentist and office staff was awful. Additionally Dr. Tran did poor work on my teeth, which I require follow up treatment for. There was still visible cavity in one of the treated teeth, I have a misaligned bite, which he could not fit in 6 subsequent visits, and I have two teeth that are poorly shaped. I have ongoing pain 3 months later, and I am filing complaints with the Tx State Board of Dental Examiners and requiring follow up treatment from two different dentists for misaligned bite/teeth and remaining cavity. read more

I left a google review stating the following: Horrible customer service, poor management of PHI, terrible time management, and dirty (with a picture of their lobby from my visit the morning of 08/12/2022). They replied stating the picture that I posted is false, because that is not what their lobby floor looks like and wanted to make it clear that the picture I posted is NOT of their office. Luckily, iPhones show the location of where a picture was taken so I was able to screenshot the map pinpointing that it was take at their office and added a screenshot someone else's review that had also taken a picture of their lobby. The flooring and the table legs in my picture and the other reviewer's were the same. That in addition to the photo's location verified that was in fact their office. Pretty low to try and flip things on me to make it appear that I would mislead anyone. Not only is their lobby filthy but the instruments they were going to use for my mouth were disgusting. They scam people into paying more money. They display your PHI (full name, DOB, SSN) on TV screens for anyone that walks by to see. read more

I don't recommend it. I called to schedule a visit. It was confirmed and I even signed all the needed paper works that they sent thru my email. But when I get there they denied that I have an appointment, I presented all the confirmation text and even email so they accommodated me as if they have no choice. The dentist checked on me but she just let me open my mount and that's it for like a second and she's done. I checked out at the front desk and told me that they will just email me the quote but it seems that they are not interested I awaited for 3wks for the email but until now no email from them. The work performed by the two dentist are horrible: The 1st dentist Terrilyn Reynolds made the temp crown for my daughter in January 2019. The temp crown was put in on Friday, January 11th. Few hours after the temp crown was put in, it fell out in the afternoon around 5p.m. Call the dental office emergency line and left a message regarding the temp crown fell out. We were told we have to make an appointment to get it fix on 1/12/19, but then there wasn't any available appointment. We just show up in the morning and wait. We were supposed to drive to Dallas for my daughter to begin her new semester in UT Dallas. 3/18/19 was supposed to be an appointment for my daughter to get the permanent crown put in. But the 2nd dentist, Eduardo Montero Ferna could not remove the temp crown. He had to cut the crown because the bonding paste dentist Reynolds used was too strong. After removing the paste, he told my daughter that she needs to get the root canel for the tooth that has the temp crown. After the root canel, then the new temp crown was placed on top of the tooth. 2nd tragic: 4/8/19 temp crown fell off while my daughter is in Dallas in school at UT Dallas. Aside from the two dentist's faulty work with the miserable experience with the crowns, we were over charged for each dental service: patient's portion of the payment on 12/29/18 for the crown was supposed to be $458.00 according to delta dental payment info. We were charged $533.80 by Lovett Dental. 1/5/19 payment for two fillings for me supposed to be $93.40, but I was told to pay $255. Overpaid $161.60 according to delta dental info. 1/5/19 payment for 3 fillings for my daughter supposed to be $71.20. but I was told to pay $290. overpaid $218.80 according to Delta Dental benefit info. 3/18/19 payment for my daughter's root canal supposed to be $124.80, but she was told to pay $349.50. overpaid $224.70 according to the Delta Dental benefit payment info. Spoke to the manager Carmen Wilson about the over payment in March. She told me she will review info. Emailed Ms. Wilson all the Delta Dental benefit payment info showing all the claims paid and showing how much patient supposed to pay for each service. Informed Ms. Wilson in the email that the over payment of $680.80 needs to return to me. Did not received a reply from her. Called Lovett Dental at 281-759-5900 four different times to talk to someone about my over payment. I was told to call back the next day for Ms. Wilson. 4/10/19 called Delta dental again regarding the over payment refund. In addition to this, I informed them that my daughter's temp crown fell out again. I told them this is the 2nd time the crown fell out. Rating for the service should be zero for overcharging patient and for the faulty work performed by the two dentists. read more

Very busy, seems like the Walmart of dentists, people waiting, row after row of people in chairs but only one adult and one pediatric dentist. They are very efficient bordering on feeling like one is neglected. All I had was an exam and x-rays done and I was there almost 3 hours. Some of that was in the waiting room, some was getting x-rays, a few minutes was with the dentist, the majority was waiting in the waiting room or chair. I am not saying this is a bad dentist, they seem to have a lucrative business, get as many people in and out, especially those with government insurance. They have no shortage of signs advertising that medicaid will pay for braces. Then when the exam was done I was told to wait in the waiting room while an full estimate was put together. I am very disappointed with this place. I've been here a few times and each time there seem to be something different that was a problem for me. the dentist himself is very good. I have no complaints with him at all. But their billing seems to be questionable. the first time I went I did not have insurance. I went to have a wisdom tooth pulled and it cost me $200. The next time I went back to have the other tooth pulled I had insurance. And was quoted $350. When I asked them how come it was cheaper when I had no insurance I was told it was due to some type of injection they were going to give me. I told him I did not want the injection whatever it was and they removed it. Suddenly my bill dropped down to like $50. It didn't make any sense if I didn't have the injection the first time why would I need it the second time. It seemed as though they were puffing up the bill just to charge the insurance and get more money. The next time I went I was discussing having a deep cleaning done on my teeth. After being quoted the price I decided I could not afford it at the time. I was asked to return to the dental hygentist and have measurements taking of my teeth. I informed them that I was not going to be able to have the procedure done that day. But I was instructed I needed to have the measurements taken anyways. So I went back and sat in the chair I explained again to the assistant that I was not going to be having any work done today and again was told this was something that had to be done. When the hygentist came in she told me what the procedure consisted of,... which for me seemed quite painful and I was not willing to go into any pain for a procedure I was not going to be able to afford. So I told her I did not want the measurements. She got very rude with me and told me I had no choice. To which I obviously got very upset and explain to her that there was no one going to do anything to me without my permission and I didn't care how important she thought the measurement was it wasn't important to me because I was not having any procedures done. She then rudely said that if I wasn't going to agree to have the procedure that I needed to sign some paper for her. To which I gladly did and left the office and can say without any doubt I will never be back! read more

My wife made an appointment for my 7 year old son with our HMO family insurance plan at Lovett dental. She was told he would be covered. We showed up to the appointment, and it turned out we were given the wrong time, only off by half an hour - not too bad. Then we were told that since we were seeing the "specialist" (pediatric dentist) our insurance wouldn't cover the visit. We said with the Lovett family dentist group, we would be happy for my son to see a general dentist. He just needed a regular checkup anyways. They said they didn't have any general dentist who would be able to see a child. Even for a regular checkup! That should be part of any dentist's training! So their business is set up in a way to require a specialist visit for a healthy child dental check. A general dentist should be able to see a healthy child. Shady business practices like this is what is screwing up our medical and dental system. I am very uncomfortable with this, so I removed my son, my wife and my dental needs from this "business." read more
