This place is absolutely flummoxing. We went way out of our way to come here--super stoked and jonesing for a fresh juice fix. However...despite the name literally being JUICERY....um....how to put this? Loveshack Juicery does not make or carry juice. Smoothies? Sure! Juice? Nope! A smoothie is not a juice. It's a....smoothie. Why not call this place Loveshack Smoothies? If I were to have written this at the time I would have zapped them with 1 star for wasting our time. In a time where compassion and forgiveness is hard to find, the negative reviewer sought to do a "Karen" (privileged criticizer) on the Loveshack Juicery. It didn't work, and I'm impressed by Ryan's diplomacy, wisdom and the facts he gathered before making his response. My fiancé and I were staying across the street at the sea chambers and decided to come over here to get some coffee and breakfast. Such a great place with really happy energy in the morning. The windows were open, reggae was playing and the coffee and breakfast bowls were perfect. We will definitely come back here when we are in Ogunquit again. read more

Was very excited to try this local juicery.... However, there was no education on nut allergies or cross contamination. When asked if it was possible to wash the blender before making my smoothie bowl, I was told no. "This place is your worst nightmare if you have nut allergies"- the cashier. This is one of the spots I always need to go to when I visit Maine. The açaí bowls are what I stop in for every time. The ingredients are fresh and colorful, and the staff are wonderful and kind. It's a small place with very limited indoor seating, BUT there are a few chairs and some side tables in front where you can peak the ocean through a few businesses in front of them. Stopped by Loveshack Juicery on a day trip to Ogunquit. I got the breakfast bowl and a hot latte! The smoothie bowl was good, but I could have made the same thing at home. I wish there was less granola and more fruit on top. I wouldn't recommend getting the coffee. It tasted like warm milk. I appreciate that they use compostable bowls, spoons, and coffee cups! I come up to Ogunquit with my in-laws every summer and needed a break from all the heavy "vacation food" I had been eating. A healthy smoothie was just the thing and Love Shack delivered! The greenie smoothie I ordered was delicious! The place also had the cutest atmosphere. It felt young and bright and smelled like fresh fruit. Loved it! They also had those smoothie bowls with all the toppings that are so popular nowadays. I've never seen those at a restaurant before! The reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because they definitely take advantage of the tourists and charge exorbitant prices. It was $10 for a large smoothie! I would have been upset, but the place was just so perfect and the smoothie was exactly what I wanted, so I can't be too harsh. I probably won't go back very often because of the price, but when you are on vacation, it's nice to enjoy a treat. read more

I LOVED Loveshack when it opened and my boyfriend and I would go regularly. Everything was amazing. I'm not sure what has happened, but things have unfortunately change. We went at Memorial Day and the Açaí bowl was not as good as it has been in the past. The other day I ordered a green drink and it was pure apple juice and barely anything else, I couldn't even drink it. I just wish Loveshack could train employees so that every drink and bowl was made exactly the same way every time. I'm not planning on going back any time soon because I can't count on what I'm going to get :( Hope this changes because it really was an amazing place! read more

My friend and I were very excited to try this new place as acai is one of our favorites at home. My friend even worked at an açaí shop years ago. This was a dissapointment, while i expected the prices to be high 16$ for a bowl you can't save is too expensive. At home they run about 11-12$ which I already feel is a lot. Also, both of our bowls were not blended all the way, and had huge frozen inedible chunks of açaí in the middle. Also, we both got peanut butter and it was the tiniest amount possible. save your money, get stuff at hannaford and make it at home. read more

Love Shack juicery just feels good. Ambiance is cool and happy, friendly staff, good tunes. Outside picnic tables get the ocean breezes, a good place to watch the world go by in Ogunquit. Try a house made ginger lemonade. All the smoothies are also excellent, as are the acai bowels. Yes, this place isn't "cheap," but anyone who eats well and makes smoothies and juices at home know how much money fresh, natural, organic ingredients cost. At this point, I think the staff at Loveshack know me because when it's summer time, I'm there! A great healthy alternative when you're in the Ogunquit area. The smoothie bowls are the best I've ever had- and I've tried them all. The smoothies and juices are great. It has a great atmosphere and nice to sit outside in the sun right in the Ogunquit center area. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is a little pricey, but the prices are the same as any other juicery so no surprise and that's expected. As someone who's been often, brings my friends when they come up, and has tried a lot of the menu, I have no complaints! This a lovely space with some great options for juices and smoothies. While the people that work here are very nice, speed and service are lacking. It took about 15 minutes to get a juice. Folks that came in to order 10 minutes after me were served immediately while myself and another couple were still waiting. It didn't make sense how the orders were being filled. I finally had to ask where my juice was and they just didn't even seem to know. They seemed apologetic but at the same time had no problem filling ANOTHER smoothie order before finally making my juice. The juice itself was pretty good and prices were on par with other juice places. If I was in the area I would give this place a try again, but only if it weren't any other people waiting. read more

In these uncertain times I can always rely on Loveshack for a smile or great service. I recently visited in hopes of a smoothie and bowl, boy did I get more than what I had hoped for. Molly, (If I remember correctly) greeted my at the window with a smile brighter than the sun (at least I assume so under the protective face mask) that was shining. She pleasantly delivered my food to the window and thanked me. I could tell she took pride in her work as well as her health and safety with the mask. Went there at 2:30pm on Friday of Mem day weekend. Was greeted by a sign to order online due to covid. So, while half way through the process of of placing our order for 7 smoothies, an employee came out to say they closed at 2pm (despite Yelp saying that we're open till 3pm). So, instead of taking the almost $70 smoothie order (yes, they are that expensive), they felt their covid-ravaged business was good enough to close early and reject the business at their front door. This is what happens when you let children run your business. My hope is that the ownership turns things around to survive when traffic returns to normal. read more
