I was positively impressed with the knowledge and patience of staff at this store. My wife and I stayed for close to an hour testing the various options for a sectional sofa and examining fabrics. All of our questions were answered and prices were promptly provided. There was no pressure to buy more expensive fabrics and no pressure to complete the sale ASAP. In fact, we were provided with fabric samples and encouraged to take our time before ordering a sofa. I liked that. It's dropped off by FedEx so you have to carry it in and assemble it. They do not offer any people who may come over to help you like IKEA does. Save your money! If you're going to spend top dollar for a high end product, you deserve quality service, communication & honesty. You will get none of those things from Lovesac. We ordered a "Sactional" with the Stealth Technology (surround sound system) under the promise that the entire unit would be delivered within 1 - 2 weeks. Two weeks later I followed up to inquire about the status of my deliver and I was told that a few items (sub woofer and center channel) were on back order for 2 - 4 weeks which was delaying my shipment. I requested them to ship the couch separately so we would have something to sit on while we wait for the surround sound to be delivered. 4 weeks after ordering, we finally received our first delivery, but it was incomplete. Not only did it not include the surround sound, but there were two additional boxes missing. So now we have a couch with no arm rests. To make matters worse, we are now being told that it will take 20 - 22 weeks (5+ months) to deliver the center channel, so our entire surround sound system is completely worthless. Had they been honest and told us about the shipping delay at the showroom, we never would have purchased this couch. They offer a 60 day money back guarantee, but what they fail to mention is that after you spend 12 laborious hours assembling this thing, you won't have the energy to even consider returning it. On the bright side, the couch is beautiful. I just wish I didn't fall for such an expensive bait & switch. Worse purchase I've ever made. Don't make the same mistake I did. This rating is for the store and associate I dealt with, not the product itself, as it hasn't arrived yet. We just bought a new house with a giant living room and needed a big comfy couch to fill the space better than our current small set. A friend recommended a Lovesac Sactional, but with al of the options we figured it was best to go in person and touch/see/discuss with someone from the company instead of just buying online. We showed up at opening, and Jessica was there to greet us. She was kind and softspoken, and not a pressure-driven salesperson (I don't enjoy that approach which keeps me out of most in-person sales situations, so I had been dreading it). She was almost as excited as we were about this piece of furniture! She showed us each type of filling, we tested them out, and she showed us everything we had seen online and the functions. Mind you, she knew we weren't going to order that day (I explained we have nowhere to store it NR wanted to wait a few weeks until our née house is closed on so it goes straight there). She spent at least an hour with us, patiently reconfiguring the layouts with a set of blocks... and once we knew what we wanted, she compiled a quote and sent it to us via email. EASY! We had a blast at the store with Jessica and have now ordered all of the pieces. I bought my lovesac about 10-12 years ago from the retail store in Orange, CA. It is the largest bag that they sell with the smaller additional foot rest piece. I also bought the leopard print furry cover, love it so much!!! Love my bag. Problem is that about a couple years ago I noticed that it would flatten out relatively quick after being fluffed and sat in only once. So I ordered more foam thinking that was the problem. When the foam arrived, and I went to put it in, the inside liner zipper was broken. That was why the foam was flattening out, it didn't have the structure of the inside liner to hold it together. No big, I thought because the lovesac had a lifetime warranty. So I called. I was told to take pictures to show what was going on because I didn't have my receipt after all of those years. After a couple of weeks of waiting for a response to my email with my pictures I called to find out what was going on. They forgot about me. When I proceeded to explain, again, my situation and the email with pictures, they saw in my file that I was right there someone had just dropped the ball. OK, let's just fix this situation. I was told that I would have to buy another liner because the warranty doesn't apply to my situation. But on their website it clearly states that all sacs and inserts are guaranteed for life, the covers are only guaranteed for 3 years. That's fine, it's not my cover, it's my insert/liner. But nope. They won't budge. They did offer a 10% off and free shipping...yeah, not. Why can't they stand by their written guarantee of lifetime warranty? That's really bad business. I know that I will never buy anything from them even if it is in writing because obviously they don't care and are liars. Buyers beware with this business...no matter what they write or tell you. First, the furniture itself is incredible well designed. They're basically just two pieces; a vertical module and a horizontal module. You can arrange them in multiples however you wish. You can build a love seat, sofa, chair, or virtually anything else. And if you want to change it, simply pick up the pieces (which connect to each other easily using movable bases and latches) and in minutes, your sofa can be a few individual chairs, or whatever else suits your mood or occasion. Each piece has a removable cover, so you can pop it in the washing machine if you spill something on it. It must also have some kind of Scotchguard-like coating on it: one of our dogs peed on a piece, and it just rolled off. Nice! The staff at this particular store is wonderful. Manager Stacy is easy to work with, extremely helpful, fun and works her butt off for her customers. Kayla is great fun, beautiful, and has a wicked sense of humor - bless her heart. My husband I moved into house about a year ago that had a super small, super awkward shaped living room. We magically crammed our enormous couch brought from our previous home into the room and basically never sat in there because it was just so uncomfortable, and cramped. It transformed our room and we can't wait to sit and relax in our now functional living room. Received an advertisement in the mail for one free sectional so I dropped by the Mission Viejo store only to find out that the sectional is free but the covers are not. So I paid $180 for a set of covers that never arrived. FedEx said they delivered it but offered no proof and no signature. I called back asking for options but the only thing the company offered was another set of covers for the "discounted" price of another $200. All I wanted was to try out the sectional but $380 for one set of covers is outrageous. I agree, their products are overpriced and the customer service is a joke. read more

My wife and I have stopped in from time to time just to sit in one of the cozy bags and admire the styles. When our recent move prompted is to begin serious furniture shopping this was certainly top of mind. The store sales team is young, energetic, personable, and most of all they keep it real. Lauren and Will at Mission Viejo both assisted us in our selection of a multi section couch with fox fur coating and pseudo shade sides. For a guy who grew up building Legos, I have to admit that the many ways to build and position the couch added a dimension of interest. Our custom purchase was set on an 8-10 week timeline for materials to travel from the orient to ca and be assembled and constructed right here in Ontario CA. Made in the USA so to speak. We received our couch earlier than expected. We were thrilled. The company really gets service and is serious about hiring intelligent people, not robots like many other big furniture chains. When we had a hiccup with the shipping company, they not only resolved the issue, they offered and in fact did come to our home and helped with assembly and everything. It was actually Will from the MV store who did that for us! The company called us right after our purchase to introduce is to our "love ambassador" who would walk is trough everything. Every step and every vertical has been aligned excepting shipping which I am sure will fold in soon. I interjected the reputation of the product and internal misappropriations with billing and pricing with product reliability actual weighed on their profit margin. Reputation is everything. Word of mouth speaks volumes. I was told in my first job at Aah's in the Del Amo Fashion Square Center 30 years ago, "Someone who has a good experience with something will probably tell two people." Brian later jumped in to help the process go even faster while Kayla was helping us with something else. As someone that works in a customer based industry I know how to spot a well trained staff who knows how to treat their customers. The "icing on the cake" was definitely their follow up service. I have owned a big ol' Lovesac for years, and I absolutely love it. So comfy! When I needed a new couch recently, I turned to the fine folks at Lovesac in the Mission Viejo mall. I had a couple ideas about the design/fabric I wanted, and Macy was very helpful (actually everybody was, but Macy was first!) with my order, recommending several different patterns and shades that complimented each other. I love the idea of modular furniture that you can mix up and rearrange, with the option for different colored covers at any time, and the lifetime warranty can't be beat. Definitely would not recommend as there are better options out there in terms of quality and customer service. Quality: Ordered 3 sections and 1 had a seat cushion that was noticeably softer that you'd pretty much fall in while sitting. Requested a replacement and then when it also failed was told they couldn't figure out how to get them to match. If your business model is built on being able to purchase sections and adding onto sets and you can't ensure quality control... To me that is a complete failure. Customer service: Complete lack of coordination between the shop and corporate. It took weeks just to get them on the same page. Not to mention the fumbling between different employees on what should be done. Multiple calls were made and still not the appropriate resolution. They sent a new cushion to the house but it was the same firmness as the one that was returned. What are you supposed to do with a couch that has one cushion that is off? It's become a terribly expensive mistake of a purchase which isn't used very much. Can you imagine lying on an uneven couch? After making the mistake and poor quality control they want to replace the current cushion with a floor model cushion. If you make a mistake shouldn't you try to resolve the situation appropriately considering how much the customer paid? Definitely will not recommend and will strongly advise people not to buy. This lack of quality control is unacceptable. They can't seem to coordinate the firmness. read more

And please note I rarely EVER leave a bad review and consider myself extremely forgiving when it comes to service. - price changed 3 times after initial quote even though I very clearly pointed out the set up in the store that I wanted the exact duplicate of -kept repeating sales jargon instead of answering my questions simply (Left with a kind of bad taste but we were still excited) -promised our couch would be delivered after a certain date and not until we called to ok, came half way through our vacay and sat on our porch!!! Bad. And we made it abundantly clear the day we bought that this would be a major issue. She said they do it allll the time no problem. -Cindy (our saleswoman) called days after our visit to say there was a glitch and a piece didn't get ordered! Price change. Not that she made a mistake, there was a glitch....ok no apology nothing then repeatedly kept saying it's only $200 then the second before she hangs up says ok I'll send the invoice for the $215?! However I now live in Hawaii and wanted to order the furniture and had the worst time online. So I just called the store in Mission Viejo because I was familiar with the store and ordered my furniture. If you live in Hawaii then you know how hard it is to find good furniture and that is takes months to be delivered. But guess what, my Lovesac furniture was at my door within two weeks! Great customer service by Galen. I had purchased a couple of beanbags for my sons earlier this month when they had a 20% off special. I was at the store to pick up the bags when I saw that they were having a 30% off for Black Friday. I mentioned to Galen that I was bummed that I had missed out on the 10% - but I had placed the order more than 14 days prior to the new sale. Galen said he would see if there was anything he could do to help. I wasn't expecting to hear back so soon with the craziness of the holidays but he called me today and said he had spoken with his manager- Tracy - and that they would be happy to give me The extra discount as if I had bought it for Black Friday.
