I load my fuel on Love's gas stations all over the USA, at least 2000 gallons per month, I also shower on some of the Love's stations 2-3 times per week. Being away from our house and spending the money we do at this gas stations, the least we should get is a good clean service away from home. Every time I see a Love's like this I turn in a bad comment, because we are not supposed to get this type of service at any location. Sorry to be this negative but it's not fair! It's not right! A business like this that is nation wide should be paying attention at little things like this! And I say little because that's how it shows to the business! But to the customer it's a big issue! How can we pay $18.00 per shower and get this nasty, dirty, discussing place to clean our selves! Ugh... do NOT believe any of the promotions on the signs. The sign says "buy a coke product & get a $1 off Pringle's". Then, we pay only to realize we didn't get a dollar off AND Pringle's were $3.59! After wasting 10 mins we finally got our money back for the Pringle's bc they don't know how to honor their signage the correct way or maybe they couldn't figure out the math. ‍ We left only to realize that we STILL got ripped off! Another sign said Buy 2 Red Bulls & Get 1 Free.... We did NOT get one free. This place is a complete rip off. The cashier had no idea what he was doing. He never even gave us a receipt after the first transaction. I saw the total as my BF was paying w his card. ‍ He just said "oh... it's already paid for." Complete moron. Then, the other cashier said that this happens all of the time. So, they know that the register is screwing people & ripping customers off but nobody does anything about it. Keep Driving! Service for a tire took better half of a day. The service personnel at the shop changed shifts and other customers who came after us were serviced before us. This is AFTER getting authorization from our company to fix a flat tire. The company had to call three times trying to figure out why and how this could be happening. It's sad after you talk to a customer service person (NANCY) and you come back into the shop for her to not even know she was just talking to you. Did this about three times in as many hours. A whole day of work wasted with EXTREMELY POOR customer service. The earlier worker should have left some form of paperwork? NANCY even checked to see if they had the right tire size, yet says she has no info on you or your truck. Huh? And she was told by a worker that there were 8 tires available of that size. Then NANCY tells you there are no tires? Even though you were standing right there when the worker told her about the tires. The number of times they went to the Love's Store (presumably on a break) since we've been here ... several, just leave it there. If at all possible, find another place to get your truck serviced. Slow service. Several calls were needed to get someone out here to provide LP. The second call she sounded unhappy. The person that came out is polite but learning to use the equipment. The cashier was learning too. He called the manager over and she typed in the purchase on the register missing an opportunity to teach him. I think the floor management at this location needs a major overhaul. We planned to get gasoline here too but will move on. read more

In general, unless a place like this is fantastic, you can at the most give a four-star review. I do not recommend. While traveling through we stopped for fuel drinks and a restroom break. This is a prime example as to why Bucees is far superior than other travel stops like this one. If you're going to have signs posted up in front that says "clean places, friendly faces" they should get the friendly faces that work there off their cell phones and in the restrooms cleaning since they're being paid. Absolutely disgusting to try and take my son to use the restroom and having to walk out (not the only customer that opened the doors to stalls looked and walked away) due to negligence of the cleanliness of the facilities. This is the worst place ever on service my driver blew a trailer tire 12 miles west of them called them for a tire service the lady sounded drunk on the phone after giving her all the information she needed three times she said two hours for her tire service to get there it took 9 hours for them to show up after I called four times and when they made a shift change the original lady who took the call never told anyone of the service call this is horrible service how anyone can leave anyone on the side of the road for 9 hours is beyond me I will never in my life call this place for anything read more

I make it a point to stop here from either gas or snacking up. I travel a lot and I do look forward at stopping at these truck stops. It's a good place to refuel not only your car but yourself in eating, restrooms, but resting before driving back on the road. read more

In the Buc-ee's era, Love's Travel Stops are falling behind. This particular location in Weimar is a great location in that it's far enough from the Luling Buc-ee's that it has more of a captive audience and is almost exactly half way between San Antonio and Houston. Managed to stop here twice on Thanksgiving week and it really isn't a place I'd target to go again. Restrooms are kind of small and weren't extremely clean (floors, surfaces, etc.). Coffee was well below what I can make at home with Folgers (not that I expect gourmet coffee at a stop like this). It seemed to be made fresh, but had a non-desirable flavor. Each stop I got snacks as well and they seemed a bit overpriced as compared to other convenience stores ($2 for a King Size candy bar for example). Positives are that it is attached to a Wendy's and Chicken fried place so you can get something to eat with gas and a restroom stop. And the gas price was extremely competitive. Access is easy (if heading East) so that is good. I wouldn't avoid this stop for any cost, but it's really a stop of convenience, nowhere near the new Buc-ee's expectation. read more

This is a hard review for me, because in TX you really have 2 choices in the race for best convenience store. Love's or Buc-ee's. On the one hand you have Love's, it's nice and clean and easy to get in and out of with nice prices. On the other you have Buc-ee's, it's overpriced but the bathrooms are palaces and clean and the beef jerky is better. But you're waiting in line at the bathroom and you're spending a fortune to enjoy it's finer points. So in closing I'll say Love's is just fine, it gets the job done and costs less. read more

Good stopping point (Exit 682) when traveling I-10 between San Antonio and Houston. The restrooms are clean and a wide range of amenities typical of a truck stop. For food, there is Wendy's and Chester's Fried Chicken, both typical fast food. Gas is somewhat on the expensive side but that seems par for all the gas stations at the intersection of I-10 and FM 155 in Weimar. read more
