At night it is well lit and there's security on the premises. My girlfriend and I stopped here after midnight and we both felt perfectly safe. Restrooms were clean and there was plenty of toilet paper; although, most of the soap dispensers were empty. There was soap though and I'm pretty sure they were refilled promptly the next morning. There's also plenty of parking if you are driving a tractor/trailer, RV, etc. Very easy to exit I-95 and then get right back on.

The super friendly lady at the counter was more than happy to give Pro tip: guzzle down the grapefruit juice then chase with the orange juice for a sweet ending. Stop in for a bathroom break or to pick up some brochures about things to do and see in whatever area of Florida you are visiting. The Florida Welcome Center is a great stop for a break in the drive. It's a quick off and on ramp right off 95.

Also, do not pass on the jerky, fresh, delicious, and a wide variety of flavors! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restrooms were exceptionally clean--which is a huge plus on a road trip. I love how the restrooms have red and green lights to let you know if they are available. There's also plenty of parking and lots of pumps, so getting in and out is easy. Overall, Buc-ee's is certainly not just a gas station--it's an experience. Consider a free to visit attraction! Great food, great service, a fun atmosphere, and some of the cleanest facilities you'll find on the road. I'll definitely be stopping here again!

We were heading up north on a road trip and even though we would be passing other Buc-ees locations, we decided to check this one out since it was new to us. I like visiting different locations to see what their themes are regarding designs based on the location. For example, the Daytona location has race car flags in their themed items. I did not find anything here that was distinct to St. Augustine though. I mean it could be because I was so distracted with the chaos that I didn't see anything. Like any other locations, this location also has several food options and is always stocked up. You can find almost everything here. They even have seasonal themed items for the holidays! I have been to this location I think 2-3 times and it is always busy, like all locations. The cashiers work very quickly so the lines move fast.

The place was well kept and the early morning staff was busy preparing for another busy day but provided excellent customer service with great appreciation and a smile. After leaving NSB, Florida long before sunrise heading north on I-95 I decided to stop and top off the bus before most of the world opened their eyes - today no lines and lots of open lanes so it was easy in and easy out. I'm still trying to figure how I can expedite the process, having to go inside and estimate the gallons needed to fuel up and prepay still seems strange and inefficient but that's how it works. After fueling if you've guessed wrong or want to get a receipt of the actual amount pumped requires a second trip inside after pulling away from the pumps. I guess this is one way truck drivers get their daily steps in - but once inside their pretty much aby thing else you could need from a cup of hot coffee, a bathroom break or shower and all the snacks and electronic devices you could ever think of for life on the road. Love's is definitely not always the most competitive price when it comes to diesel fuel or DEF but they are convenient and for the most part a one stop shop they have it all retailer so I'll continue to stop in as needed...
