I had my doubts about this place after reading all the reviews about the bad service. I came here on a Friday night with one of my friends to look for corsets but got distracted by everything else. PRODUCTS: They have the typical wide variety of vibrating dildos and silicone sex dolls as well as a good library of porn DVDs, lubricants, massage oils, candles, condoms, and a limited selection of sex games. The corsets were ridiculously expensive ($100+) but their other lingerie and panties were decently priced (5 for $25). They also have a lot of penis-shaped novelty items such as necklaces, cake molds, lollipops, and even straws (which I loved because the larger shaped ones were black lol). My favorite was the condoms. They have a large selection ranging from textured to colored to flavored in all different thickness and sizes. They had a buy 12 get 12 free deal so of course I had to take advantage of that. SERVICE Unlike many of the previous reviewers, I would have to disagree with the service. The ladies working there were very friendly and eager to help the customers with any questions or assistance we may have needed. I did not hesitate at all in asking one of the staff members her opinion on a lacy top i was trying on. The store looks great. It's big and clean and well organized for the most part. The customer service, on the other hand was not great at all. I absolutely hated my experience there. For one, I really felt somewhat uncomfortable walking in and so I was looking for a kind welcoming from the employees to make me feel at ease. I was not acknowledged at all walking into the store initially, then when I went downstairs I was asked twice to check my ID (which in my eyes, is understandable even though that tells me there's a communicate gap among employees), then as I proceeded to shop around for lingerie, I noticed two things: I was not offered any help and a cluster of employees were standing at the top of the stairs glaring at me and conversing about what looked like was gossip. I felt uncomfortable once again, but tried to shrug it off. When I approached the counter to purchase an item, the cashier was giving me a disgusted look and treated me with a snobby attitude. I attempted to lighten-up my situation by asking about whether they have Ladies Night and when the next one is because this particular ConRev is closer to me than the one in Huntington Beach's (where I've had GREAT experiences). The cashier, quickly and rudely responded, "We already had ours" At this ConRev location, I found the employees to lack respect towards myself as well as the friend I was with. I felt ridiculously uncomfortable and slightly discriminated against (I'm sure because I look young) and though the store may be bigger in general, I would much rather go to a hole-in-the-wall shop with a more welcoming vibe. So the newly revamped ConRev is pretty sweet. (I've been across the country, so it still seems new to me, even though it's about a year old now.) What a life saver!! :) The larger back room is where the serious business is, you need an id to pass. There you will pretty much find a large room dedicated to porn and a separate side displaying the vast amount of sex toys. i may not frequent a whole lot o sex stores, but i must say, this is one classy sex store. I usually here for christmas or birthdays (nope, not toy shopping for myself) and havent been all that disappointed. I dont know if this is normal but almost all the customers, especially ones by themselves, are almost all female. The staff is pretty much mostly female as well. They've got Gag-gifts, gift bags, how-to books, gels, "potions", porn, toys, bondage, role-play outfits, clothing and their namesake plenty and plenty of condoms. Everything you need to get it on! Im glad to see its not just a small room filled with butt plugs with a serious "sexpert" on hand....they dont take themselves too seriously and if you're nervous to enter these kinds of shops, that'll put you at ease. The staff are totally cool and are always popping up to help. I think their rule is if they're within 15 feet of a customer, they must ask how they're doing...which is nice, it just might take the edge off.
