Ok, the first time I wrote this, I was suffering diarrhea of the mouth. Sometimes I don't know when to shut up. I think over 2/3's of the review's focus was on me, not ConRev. This time, just bullet points. 1) Easy to find, usually plenty of parking. Entrances in the front and back. 2) Great decorum. Not sterile like a doctor's office or seedy like so many adult shops. Dungeon-like decor with faux-bricked walls and mood lighting everywhere. 3) Excellent selection of product. They purchase towards the more high quality of product. The store carries it all, including vibes, dildos, male masturbaters, lingerie, a wide selection of condoms, penis pills, novelty items and a lot more! 4) Finally, the staff. As you can see by the other reviews, ConRev takes the time to hire and train there staff. I've been there 12 or more visits. I'm always greeted with a smiling welcome, and have been pleased with the staff's reccomendations, Heidy, Valerie, Serena and all the rest will put you at ease, and can handle all of your questions. I wouldn't be giving these stars if we hadn't met Katie. My boyfriend and I went to ask some questions on a very expensive toy we bought, that stopped working randomly. The older women at the front was not very friendly and did not try to help at all. All she said was no we can't do anything for you. Where as, the young girl Katie stepped in and offered to help. She opened a package looking for a possible number of something we could call for company. She was not only helpful but very funny and outgoing. She also gave us some great tips for four play. Amazing store! Great selection of toys and novelty gifts! Prices are pretty steap but sex toys are pretty pricey in general, even online. I LOVE the fact that they have displays of most of the toys products so you can test the vibrations, texture, etc. The employees were very nice (with the exception of the one with lots of facial piercings, I don't think I saw her smile once) and very informative. They even have special after hours events from time to time. I was very impressed with this store, I only wish there was one closer to me. At one point I would have given this store 4.5 to 5 stars because of their fantastic staff. But in the past year I've gone in a number of times and have never seen the same employee twice. I was in there this past weekend and was so disappointed in the way I was treated. The thing I asked for was "unusual" and the sales associate gave me a "stinkface" look. For a moment I was proud of myself for actually mystifying the adult store worker. But then I realized that her reaction was unprofessional. I called another adult store in the area. They've moved a couple stores over from the old one into an even bigger one. Huge variety of condoms and vibrators. They even test out the vibrators before you buy it to make sure it works. Lots of massage lotions and ointments as well as costumes (especially around Halloween). Parking can be an issue though. read more

This place is awesome!!! I've seen it for years every time I come to the beach & always wanted to check it out but couldn't because of the "company" I was with. Finally got to stop in & was truly amazed!! The staff is so friendly & so helpful!! They don't make you feel creepy or any of the feelings that usually go along with this sort of visit. They offer suggestions & their expertise on everything in the store. If I had a question they were so open to share their "experience" about any product they have. ConRev is my second adult store to go to besides Spanky's. This place has about almost everything. There's different kinds of condoms and a bunch of accessories to look at. Costa Mesa has a few stores like this, after shopping around for a while i ended sticking with this conrev, its close to my house and they have a huge selection. Alot of the other places are unfriendly and make you feel weird when you go in. But this is my 6 or 7th time coming in with my girlfriend and almost every time we have ended up with Vanity helping us out. Shopped Costa Mesa on 2-25-14, was greeted at the door by a friendly sales associate, unfortunately her name lanyard was turned around so I can't name her directly (too bad she should be in management). Besides a clean store with non-apologetic attitudes about everything sex, the ease & comfort created by the sales person made shopping a pleasure & positive experience on all fronts. There is a lot going on at this ConRev, it's more spacious than the HB location. They always have helpful staff and it's never uncomfortable talking with any of them. The lingerie is a bit pricey for the quality, but if you combine it with the 40% check in offer, it's a pretty good deal. Lots of options when it comes to lingerie, toys, etc. Just a small selection of movies. They have a large selection of toys for men, larger than any other store I've ever been to. read more

This place is great and the staff here is just EXCELLENT. First of all, you can get great prices here in store compared to getting stuff online like Amazon. I compared prices and ended up just going to this store for a few toys and ended up spending less money than I originally planned on AND I got a coupon for 40% off so I'll definitely be back. If I had a lot of money to spare and could only spend it in one store, it would be this one! There is sooooo much awesome stuff here, I could just spend forever checking out the products. The store is clean, stylish, and I've never seen any creepy people here. The staff (both male and female) have all been friendly, helpful, and can talk about their products in a very professional manner. The staff have tested all the products (although I'm not exactly sure what that means!) and are quite knowledgeable about how things work, how to clean and take care of the products, etc. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I haven't been to enough of these kinds of shops to really compare.
