I am so freaking pissed ! I just got my nails done at Lovely nails in Murray, UT on State St and the lady did a shitty ass job! I showed her the picture of what I wanted done and she looked at it several times and she kept referring back to the picture while she was doing my nails but then the bitch did NOT do a fucking thing I asked her to do or anything like the picture!! Do NOT go to lovely nails if you dont want shitty nails !!! They should be called SHITTY NAILS and not lovely nails !!! read more

Horrendous service! The workers are rude, including the owner. I wasn't treated like a paying customer, but rather an inconvenience. Despite having asked for a basic service, they gave me an upgraded service without asking me first, and then expected me to pay for it! When I said I never asked for said service (a design on my big toe which costs a ridiculous $10 more) they said, too bad, too late. It's already done, so I have to pay. On top of that, the entire time I was getting a pedicure she was acting so put out you'd think I was making her clean an outhouse. I get pedicures regularly, have good hygiene, and maintain my feet. I have no idea why she wanted to make me feel like I was disgusting, other than to be rude for no reason. And if she has such a hard time working with feet, maybe giving pedicures is the wrong business industry for her to have gone into. This place is criminal and awful. Will never be going again and am telling all my friends to stay away. read more

Was overall dissatisfied with the service. Got a mani pedi and my pedicure lasted maybe 7 minutes. She massaged my legs with lotion and once the lotion was rubbed in she kept massaging me with dry gloves which was annoying, especially since I saw my mom who was sitting right next to me get oil and lotion put on her legs. When the lady was putting my shoes on she smudged the nail polish from my big toe and instead of fixing it she just painted over it. I got a shellac manicure and she didn't even dehydrate my nail before putting the primer on. (My mom who was next to me and getting the same thing got the complete process). I paid the same amount as I do at my regular salon and it was not the same service. Won't be returning. read more

I went on a Sunday and it was quite busy that's why I'll give it a 4. Other than that it's very affordable the people are nice and the nails look amazing. I have gone here twice now. The first time I went in everything went great. Very nice and professional. I went in last Friday for another manicure and gel set and ended up getting an infection in one of my fingers. Luckily I work under a hand surgeon and he was able to give me antibiotics for this, but it was working its way into becoming cellulitis. For those of you who don't know what that means, that is a bacterial infection of the skin. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this salon. I am disappointed that I now have to take medicine for this and soak it every night and keep it wrapped at night. I wouldn't give this any stars if it didn't require me to.. read more

Went here with two coworkers based on a recommendation from a friend. This location invested in state of the art equipment and techniques, but that doesn't always equate to great quality. I think they intentionally use cheap polish/techniques in order to get you to pay for shellac because within 24 hours all of us had our polish chip. And when they were trimming my cuticles on my finger each and every finger began bleeding. One of them was bleeding so badly she had to put a liquid on it that burned and made it scab over. All of my nail polish chipped off before my fingers even healed! One of my friends had her cuticles ruined as well. No apology, no compensation, nothing. And I paid $50 for this?! I didn't even get shellac or the deluxe pedicure! I did NOT get what I paid for and we all decided we definitely won't be returning. read more

THE WORST MANICURE I have EVER received! The woman was angry that I was 'only getting a manicure' so she passively aggressively stabbed me with the cuticle tool (repeatedly). I was bleeding from 4 nail beds. I am absolutely horrified by the customer service -- if you can even call it that. My favorite nail salon in the valley. Admittedly, I don't get manicures (way too tough on my hands for them to last more than a day) but their pedicures are awesome! The dry Utah climate combined with my flip flop wearing turns my tootsies ugly. They do great callous removal in their deluxe pedicures, not to mention the fab leg massage that comes with it. Even their toe nail designs are cute, and I'm usually a plain kind of girl. At $35 every 5 weeks or so, totally worth it to me! read more

Went in because it was Labor Day and all my regular trusted spots were closed. Just needed a gel manicure. The nail tech, Yen, spent more time watching the TV then doing my nails, or doing my nails with her eyes on the TV behind her and getting gel all over my hands. My nails didn't have a shape and were different lengths when I came in. She never filed or shaped my nails and immediately put the gel on, then after I asked if she could shape them she said it was too late and I should have asked her to file them before. Of course I didn't ask because that is included in every manicure I've ever gotten. Definitely not coming back. read more

I used to come here weekly for a pedicure during the summer. I love getting plaid nail art on my toes. Sometimes the plaid looked great, and other times I would get someone who wasn't very good at it. I quit going here because the last 3 times I went I received terrible service. My nails looked terrible, and I had to tell them not to use the razor on my feet because not only is that bad for your feet, for some reason the lady used it on my arch! There are no calluses there! My feet looked like someone chewed them up and spit them out. I could hardly walk. I'm really disappointed with the service here lately. After 3 bad experiences in a row, I had to quit coming here. Yelpers did it again! I'm a local who was in need of a great nail place. Turned to Yelp and y'all did not let me down. GREAT pedicure (I got the deluxe); Anna did an awesome job and did nail art (cherry blossoms) on my toes. I also got a fill and shellac on my mani. She knew exactly how to fix the crappy job that the last place did. She filed my nails to be squared/round and they look awesome. Total cost for mani/pedi (deluxe and shellac and acrylic) was $68. Totally worth it and I've found my new nail spot. Loves it!!! read more

This place is the worst. Smells awful inside-seriously toxic- that's not good for your health to inhale those fumes. They charged me more than the quoted price on the wall. Such a disappointing pedicure! I brought my mother in to treat her and I to a pedicure. I work as a retail manager and I rarely get a day off, especially with my mom who lives In California. From the beginning we could tell that the ladies helping us did not want to, they both had an attitude with us, and put absolutely no enthusiasm into there work. My mom commented that the massage was just a lotion application. Love, Love Love Lovely Nails. I have had my acrylics for years, but until I found Lovely Nails they would crack and lift. Not now. Now I can go in and get a fill and it will last 4 weeks if I need it to. As for the Pedicures, best ever. Especially the Deluxe Pedi. An absolute MUST!! I can't say enough about it. The nail art is also flawless if you like a design on your fingers or toes, they are the best. My favorite nail tech is Jennifer. She is awesome, but I recommend if you want to see her you make an appointment. They do, however, have walk in service and nail techs readily available for those. read more
