BUT... the last time that I was there, a man (maybe the owner???) was eating lunch, then belched very loudly a couple of times while sitting in a pedicure chair. Maybe I was there on a bad day - Friday the 13th, 2026? Regardless, Lovely Nails wasn't so lovely; it was one of the worst pedi/mani experiences I've had. Granted, my feet are calloused, and my fingernails are rough, but I had an event to attend in a few days, so I needed my nails to look good. On arrival, a man who spoke very little English sat me down, ran the water, and before I could even hardly settle, got to work. I at least expected to soak a moment, so that surprised me (it was not crowded.) The heal scrub was unpleasant; he applied the callous remover but didn't let it sit - instead raked my heals to a point I flinched several times. Then, appeared a bit miffed when I politely asked him to treat the callouses on my big toes (does no one address these callouses anymore?) Ouch again. Clipped my left big toenail too short (it's been sore for days), left the edges ragged... At least the massage was decent. He botched the big toe trying to shove my foot in my flip-flop (the tech next to him, yipped at him, and she put my feet in) and it had to be redone. I then had to go to a separate station for my nails, which he did not shape well, and left ragged on the tips. Shockingly, I had to hold my hands up to a small fan to dry!! Overall, what was supposed to be a treat for myself turned into a disappointing, pricy experience I don't care to repeat. I will not go back to this establishment. Great pedicure and foot massage! My wife and mom and I were all able to get in at the same time which made it so much more enjoyable.

Unfortunately I was not at all pleased with my service. Everyone was sitting around on their phones when I arrived including a gentleman walking around in his bare socks. The gentlemen they put me with to get my pedicure and acrylic fill in was very rough, dismissive and rushed. My massage he gave was horrible it didn't even feel like I got a pedicure and the "hot stones" were literally cold. He used water to glide them for the massage instead of any type of oil so it actually hurt me. Not to mention I was on a time crunch and they had someone available to do my nails at the same time but instead they did the services back to back which really cut into my time. But some lady walks in and gets royal treatment and gets both her hands and feet done at the same time? Also they were very clearly talking about the customers in the shop in their language which I found was very rude they were even trying to be discreet about it. I also did not get a price breakdown and was charged $115 for a sub par pedicure and a fill in with a crappy gel over lay I never asked for. Was not offered a drink either and was given a room temp water bottle. Work station didn't seem clean and had what I can only imagine to be a million other people's nails dust in. I was just overall disgusted and wish I had just walked out. Do not come here spend your money elsewhere. read more

Nina did an excellent job fixing my nails! I needed a fill and the last salon I went to made them really thick. Nina took the time to file them down so they weren't so thick and overall did a FANTASTIC job. My nails are perfect! Definitely recommend. Prices on par with other salons I've been to. I called ahead and she said come on in, I did not have to wait so that was great! Interior of salon is nice. Not the fanciest I've been to, but that's not my MO when choosing a salon. Lady but my nails and I told her I had Ingrown's on y big toes. She barley cut them and I asked her to d I more and told me she couldn't cut my very basic side ingrown toenails (that I get cut literally every two weeks) no one has ever said they can't but them. Just moved to Corpus. Booked my appointment online, and when I arrived on a Saturday morning it was packed. So I thought that was a good sign. However, I still had to wait over 30 mins for a scheduled appointment. Had the deluxe paraffin pedicure and it was fine. Wax was extremely hot, but was okay for me, may not be for others. Vincent did a decent pedicure and I felt relaxed and comfortable. They shaped my nails very well (which most salons screw up). Only complaint is a few tiny bubbles on the polish but no biggie. Barely noticable! Their selection of nail polishes are mostly OPI so they use the good stuff. To top it off, they offer complimentary water, soda or wine! This place is located in a really nice shopping center so I was surprised at how junky it looked inside. Also I don't know if the air conditioner was broken or they were choosing not to use it but it was very hot inside. They had the front doors open but it was 80 degrees outside I've had great pedicures in not so great salons in the past so I still gave it a try. I got the manager or owner, not sure which. He spoke almost no English but I still understood that he was aggressive and pushy. He did a terrible job on my pedicure. While doing my cuticles I had to stop him several times because he was hurting me which he just laughed off every time. The massage was maybe a minute long at most. It looked like the other techs might be ok but avoid the head honcho if you end up here. Or better yet, I recommend going somewhere else. read more

During my visit to Corpus Christi for the month of April 2021, I chose Lovely Nails & Spa to get my regular dip powder service. Upon arrival (early just as they opened) I was greeted by an old gentleman who waited on me right away, had me pick a color and sit down to soak my nails for removal. He then continued with the usual manicure, and removing akin and buffing. Then a young lady took over to do the dip. She was very nice, I did not catch her name. She started a small conversation with me .. she was nice. She cut my nails short as I wanted them, and the dip lasted for over 5 weeks. I was amazed. During my 3rd week I decided to go back and get a fresh pedicure. I got an older woman and she did a wonderful job. Cost was $10 cheaper for both services back home in MA. plus they did a wayyy better job. Definitely will return when I come back to visit CC. & an added bonus they offer free water, soda or wine. So the first time I came here they were decent, not very friendly and not very good service but I've been looking for a good nail salon for almost two years here and I thought I had found it, but no! I came back yesterday for a good nail doing and to relax but it was far from relaxing. I gave the man a picture for my nails & for some reason it was so hard for him. He was laughing and talking to the other employees the entire time & completely messed them up. He tried to tell me it was too late after messing them up. I brought a book to read but couldn't read it because I had to watch him the entire time & keep telling him to do it like the picture. It looks like a 4 year old did the marble design & he made all my nails purple when in the picture they were light blue & silver & peach. This place was terrible when I got there I had already told the tech I wanted the $35 pedicure he insisted on the $45 I declined he insisted again and made an unprofessional comment about my feet , then while he was filing and buffing HE broke my toenail I was hoping he would fix but he didn't , someone else did with powder with extra charge. Time came to pay & I was charged $63 for a $35 pedicure I HAD ASKED FOR IN THE BEGINNING but no he did everything his way and made it more expensive I didn't enjoy getting burned by the hot water either & being charged extra for a mistake he made . Zero stars for this place. We walked in for pedicure and they sit us down to soak and say someone is on the way to do it for you. So we sit, soak and soak some more. 45 minutes and still soaking, we get up and leave and like magic two people come out from the back. No apologies , just ask to sit and they can help us. After a few visits to this place, with the same nail tech, I can post a true review. The salon is less than 5minutes away from work, so convenience plus avg reviews helped me decide to walk in the doors. The first visit to Lovely nails was not bad. I got a full set and they did an ok job. I asked for almond shaped nails, and though they came out a bit bulky, they were ok. About a month later, I decided to just grow my nails out and had them flatten the shape and trim the tips. The nail tech was a little rough, but the visit was ok. After a couple of months, I had grown out the set and was back to just natural nail beds. Again I wanted a full set and went in (bc of convenience). I got a full set with shellac polish. While the tech was grinding my nail down, he went too far and hurt my nail bed. (I didn't think much of it, at the time since it happens some times). After he applied the product, my fingers were really sore. My fingers didn't feel ok for two weeks and once I grew them out enough to get a fill, I went to my regular salon to have them take a look. As she removed the polish she noticed some nasty growth under my thumb nail! Apparently as he had rushed through, he had completely filed off my natural nail and the moisture from my nail bed was caught under there for 2 weeks! She was able to cut off the dead part and save the rest of my nail. I will not be going back to this salon and I suggest that they train their techs to avoid this kind incidents. I have never been more in love with a nail salon. The staff is incredibly sweet and friendly, and they took such intimate, precise care of my nails that I felt like a princess in there. I had previously gotten acrylic nails at a different salon and the staff here took the time to remove them carefully, then filed my nails with a delicacy I've never seen before! Another staff member painted them, and even though there was a bit of a language barrier, her sweetness and attention to detail was communicated thoroughly. I tipped them the best I could, and you could tell they genuinely appreciated it. I haven't been back only because I can't afford it, but I plan to relive this experience as often as I can! read more

Best experience. I'm visting from California and sad I can't make this place my regular nail salon. I had the best pedicure. I got the Lovely Deluxe for only $35. The massages were thurough and got the knots out of my feet. The scrub and mask made my legs feel so incredibly soft. My pedicure was an hour and a half long and my nails were shaped and polished perfectly. I also got a new set of acrylic nails and got perfectly shaped (coffin) nails. I'm extremely picky with my nails but they did a great job. He was quick and they came out flawless. Very happy with what I paid for. Zero complaints. read more
