The first time, I assumed it occurred because it was a new nail tech. However, it has happened almost every pedicure in the past six months. Additionally , during my last pedicure a few weeks ago, I contracted ring worm, which I have never had in my life! One Diflucan and topical treatment for the past week and it has started to heal. I was pretty nervous about the appointment (didn't realize how uncomfortable I'd be having my eyes closed for so long) but the aesthetician, Paige, was so lovely and great to talk to. I'm so happy with how my lashes turned out! One minor thing that didn't bother me but could potentially bother others is that some of the treatment rooms have windows that see into a hallway of the main building. The windows are darkened but they're not private so someone walking into the building can see you while you're on your appointment. This didn't bother me during the appointment but if privacy is important to you then maybe look into a different salon.

I was asked to put a credit card on file to HOLD the appointment. I received an appointment confirmation confirming the appointment and outlining their cancellation policy of 48 hours in advance. I canceled the appointment more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, and the business confirmed this. Instead of releasing the hold to my credit card, she charged me $100 dollars. During my interaction with the business, they did not mention anything of a non-refundable charge until I inquired about the unauthorized charge on my credit card. I have now filed a claim with my credit card company and submitted proof with screenshots that the appointment confirmation outlined the cancellation policy and proof that I followed the policy! They have opened an investigation and credited my money back! This would have been the first time using this business, and this is not how we treat customers. I would understand the charge if I had been a "no show" or last-minute cancellation, but this was not the case! Do not use his business. They are crooks!
