The pedicure is fantastic. The fingernail acrylics look beautiful but I had to ask for one nail to be fixed twice because the tip was put on crooked. The person doing my nails would pause frequently to look at their phone. When I asked for a second coat of polish because the first coat was still transparent, I was told that the nails won't look pretty if we do more than one layer. They still looked pretty enough for the artist to take a photo. The end result does look great but I wasn't made to feel comfortable or welcome. read more

I was quite displeased with my experience here overall. The two starts are for the fact that the staff was friendly and the shop itself was clean and well kept. Other than that my experience was negative. The services I booked were a shellac mani and pedi. I live in San Antonio, but I was in corpus for the weekend and decided to get my nails done. I called to make an appointment and the staff member I spoke with assured me they had availability at the time I requested. Upon arriving I was told it would be about a 15 min wait. Kind of inconvenient, but that happens at a lot of nail salons so I didn't worry about it. After 15 mins they told me I could go soak in the water. I sat in the water for ANOTHER 20 min before anyone came over to begin my pedicure. At this point I was a little bothered. Overall the rest of the pedicure experience was fine. When I went over to begin my mani, the gentlemen accidentally put a velvet matte top coat on first, instead of a base coat. After realizing this, he laughed it off and continued. I was pretty shocked he did not remove the accidental top coat. He just kept layering everything else over on top of it. When I left my nails looked fine... but within 3 hours, my shellac was peeling completely off! I knew right away it was because of the top coat mistake. My nails looked awful for the event that I had planned that night. I only had about 3 out of 10 gels left on my nails. The next day I had to leave town before the shop opened so I was unable to get them fixed. Instead I called and asked for a refund on my mani after explaining what happened. The staff member I spoke with told me there was absolutely no way they could refund my card and for me to come back in. I explained that I was already back in San Antonio and I wouldn't be back to corpus for a long time. I was only there for a weekend vacation. She kept arguing saying that they would fix them next time and couldn't refund my money because they couldn't access my card information. Again I explained that there was no "next time" and asked if she would mail me a check for the price of the mani if I left her my address. She said she would, but would only refund me for the shellac ($15), not for the full mani or the $15 tip I left the gentleman who did my nails. I left my information with the staff member and of course never received a call, text, or a check with my refund. I ended up having to go to a shop in San Antonio and pay for an entire new mani all over again. I understand that mistakes happen, but I feel that this is a pretty slimy way to do business. If the customer doesn't get a quality service, they should be able to get their money back without having to argue back and forth. And if you say you will issue a refund you should stick to your word. Not cool! read more

I called ahead and let them know I only had an hour to spare. They said it would be no problem. The not so speedy or knowledgeable technician they placed me with just so happened to be starting his FIRST day. I requested a POWDER fill. The owner gave me all of the color templates for powder colors and I picked mine. The technician began putting ACRYLIC on my nails and told me to pick another color (a shellac color) - which is not what I wanted. I was willing to compromise for time purposes but bummed. The owner walked by a few minutes later and saw he was doing my nails completely different than I requested and asked him what he was doing point blank... like I said I was willing to compromise, but I think a five year old girl could have shaped them better using her two feet than he did...... The owner looked at them mortified and asked for a different technician to take over for him. Teddy took over and was really nice about having to take everything the prior technician did OFF and start over from scratch - this now making me late for the appointment I had in an hour. While teddy was doing my nails he said "now if anything happens to them after you leave you can come back and I'll fix" I said "thank you but nothing should happen to them right?" and he assured me I had nothing to worry about. 3 days later, ALL OF MY NAILS STARTED LIFTING ... EVERY ONE OF THEM. so much to the point that one bent off and broke my nail bed and bled. All of them are falling off and it is painful. I will not be back ever for him to fix them. I would rather go somewhere else and pay for the same job to be done right than go back to this place!!! read more

I was referred here and very happy with the service! SNS and pedicure...they offered to pick the matched color to my dip and everybody was super friendly. Will definitely be back. Update: been back several times and I love them. However, I recently had my hands (SNS) done by the older gentleman, who was really rude. Not only was he callous and told me "ur killing me" when I was debating colors, but he cut my finger like three times. I will keep coming back Bc everybody else does a phenomenal job and there's tons of options of colors, designs, etc. read more

Literally the perfect set of nails. Been here more than once and the people here are so nice. My friends and I have come in twice and they have accommodated us without an appointment. A young guy did our nails and he was so nice to us when we came in. He immediately got up and helped us choose colors and style and we were sat within 2 minutes. I he did such a good job on my nails and he was FAST. Usually when asking for a coffin shape it takes a while, but he got me out in the same amount of time as my friend and she got sns on her real nails. They also have an awesome rewards system. Bella did my friends nails and was amazing!! A very grumpy, rude, unprofessional, and downright mean man did my nails. They didn't turn out anything like I wanted, are very crooked, and look like they're a couple weeks grown out already (and I got them today). I was wearing a wrist brace for a sprained wrist and he was not gentle at all and jerked my wrist around multiple times, made my fingers bleed, and the sns nails are so thick and uneven that they look ridiculous. He told me he was doing a pink and white, but the nails are a brown and white. I'm pretty upset since I only treat myself to a manicure about 1 time per year if that. It was a special treat, and time away from the kids, and he ruined it with his attitude and lack of effort. I plan to go back tomorrow to see if Bella will fix them for me. She is very kind, funny, thorough, and I highly recommend her. Like I said, my friends nails are beautiful. Update*** Bella fixed them the next day, but tried to charge me full price for a new set, despite seeing how my first nail tech acted. The manager decided not to charge me. I gave Bella a big tip for her helping me. Later, I got a call asking me to take down my review, but the man who acting horribly to me did not make the call, nor did he apologize in any other form. I offered to take it down if he could call and explain why he behaved in that manner. While I think there is never an excuse to intentionally hurt people and act out in anger while working in a service industry as this, I would be more forgiving if perhaps he just had a really bad day. In fact, he is the one who laughed at this review, which shows his character right there. While I love Bella and her work, I will not go back due to this man's unreasonable behavior. read more

I usually do come here and the ladies are great, but today a guy did my pedicure and manicure. During the manicure he sat in front of me texting at least 10minutes not saying anything. He inally did my nails SNS, pretty but rough edges not happy. Finally pedicure,I didn't know it would still be him. He would get upset with me because I was not relaxing i think he even mumbled the plastic broke.He didn't even ask what pedicure i wanted just said regular pedicure right. Four days later and my dipped nails still look baller! This team accommodated my family of five with getting our nails done within hours of my call to arrange the appointments and also painted my six year old nephew's desire to have his toenails pained dark blue. Prices were great for the services. I think the five of us each had manipedis and we got out for under $300 even with tip. The strip center where the salon is located is only so-so, but the interior is where you want to be. I wish I had a picture of the nails to share. Would return when next in Corpus Christi. This place went way beyond my expectations!!! I noticed right away how clean it is. My best friend and I went to get pedicures for her birthday and I found them when I googled nail salons. Tom always does my pedi and up to 3 weeks later my polish looks fresh. He was with another customer today and an elderly man started my pedicure. He started peeling my polish off and peeled my toenail in the process. Instead of telling me he tried to superglue it back together, not realizing I could see what he was doing the entire time. I have been coming here for over 2 years and the last time I went the girl who did my pedicure, filed my toe nails to the point of breaking. They were over filed and have dips in the nail. When I returned today I was told I would have to come back in an hour and a half and they could only give me a discount for a future visit. Called ahead to be sure they weren't too busy. I hadn't treated myself to a pedicure or nail set in forever, so it was a treat to myself. Anyway, the staff was not friendly, the pedicure was good, but the nail polish was a bit messy. Moved over to get my acrylic set done and the tech was rude he didn't say hello or introduce himself, overall wouldn't engage. Fine, he didn't feel like talking no biggie. He told me to relax my hands and I responded with I'm trying and he said don't try, just do. I asked for square round nails and basically got square nails. The nails are too long for my taste but at that point I just wanted it to be over with, so I could leave. I paid before polish and tip generously. He polished nails finished and just left without so much as a thank you. The salon was dirty and I don't plan on going back. This was my first time going in there, and I asked for ombré nails. The nail tech was friendly but they didn't know what they were doing as far as ombré nails! I had even showed a picture. They are unblended and look terrible. Sad part is, I paid $50 for these when I could have gotten a better job elsewhere. I won't be returning. read more
