Tonight was a vibe at the Nail Lounge. On weekends, this place is bustling. Today -- a weekday -- I was able to close my eyes and relax. I requested to get my nails cut down, filled, $58 dollar pedicure, and my eyebrows reshaped. I was assigned Hayden for the first time. He was patient, detailed, and filled my nailed to look natural. He constantly asked if the services was ok! It was!! It was 6:20 -- he still allowed me to get an 1 1/2 pedicure which I appreciate. That shows great customer service. He also was very detailed with my feet and scrubbed them -- my feet get tough sometimes !!!! I highly recommend this place. PS: One of the owners started my nails! She is nice. I have been to the lounge about 3 times so far however this time wss beyond disastrous. I went in requesting a normal pedi with mail take off and manicure with gel overlay. Unfortunately that did not happen. As soon as I stated i did not want the shellac the treatment went down hill. Handling me roughly not adhering to my request at all. I did not want all of that as I am flying to see my brand new granddaughter. After asking me four times for acrylic and saying Jo the manager comes over and wss very dismissive and did not care. I walked out in polished with no manicure but a load of $55.00. Very sad as it is a beautiful place however I guess only when you're getting bells and whistles read more

the service is terrible. i came in for a mani pedi, the man who did my toenails was in a rush and made a few of my toenails bleed from the drill. i asked for them to be square, only like 3 of them were square. i still had cuticles on all of my toes, it was like he didn't even prep them at all. once he finished, i got my nails done by natalie (she is amazing and i loved them). i contacted them about the toenail issue and they were happy to have me come in and get them fixed! however, when i came in i was immediately rushed over to a chair, JOY i believe was her name, was also in an extreme rush, doing a million things at once. not to mention she didn't prep my toes at all, didn't even turn on the water to soak my feet. i left with streaks on my toenails, again not square, and visible cuticles. I had a chip in my middle finger so i got that fixed. the nail is not even at all to the other hand, there is a visible dent like she didn't even file it or take the time to see if it looked right. it also already feels like it's about to pop off and i literally just left the salon. extremely disappointed and upset with my experience here read more

1 fill with gel and French tips The - WORST fill ever!!! The sides of my nails look like shit! No oil, moisturizer, NOTHING! The place was packed- good for the salon! The guy who gave me a fill took approximately 10mins! When the "fill part was done , each hand went under the light ONE time , after applying the white tip color he only applied ONE coat of top or clear polish, quickly cleaned up his tools and said thank you !? I was a bit confused, then when he got up and left I knew he was done! Quick, half ass job done in 10 mins flat! When I complain to the boss, she wasn't fazed in the least . I was losing all hope in going to nail salon until I came here! Such a great nail salon with a friendly staff! Extremely professional and organized. Joy did my nails, so gentle with the drill and did a really well painting overall. The vibe is very soft, relaxing, and a bunch of TV's to watch while your hands are not free! Ryan did the full set with a bow detail! He was very kind and helpful. At checkout, they gifted me an orange cuticle oil and a rose scented cuticle oil. Most of the time I love this place and they do great work on my nails, however i went in yesterday for a full set and pedicure with shellac and acrylic overlay on my big toe. I did no designs and it was a solid white shellac for both the nails and the toes and gel x no modifications to the tips and the total was $128. I didn't realize requesting for JUST my cuticles to be clipped counted as an extra 12 dollar manicure charge. i wanted her to fix my feet because it didn't look right and im pretty sure based on body language another tech came and they laughed about the way the overlay looked then looked at me and stopped when they saw i was looking at them and then she suggested i do them different next time (overlay on the rest of the toes and i was saying i did wanna do that yet didn't offer to fix instead said we were almost done) she also didnt evenly coat the second layer of gel on my toes and some are unevenly shaded. I was feeling very pressured to leave as they were rushing through the entire service and working on me at the same time the manicurist also forgot to prep my thumb before applying the first layer of shellac but ignored and carried on with the rest once she realized she had already applied and cured that one. Don't know if I will be returning again and i will be going somewhere else to fix my now weird looking toes. read more

I was excited to this fairly new nail salon in town. I am pretty low maintenance- usually just a pedicure, sometimes a very simple manicure. I like a salon that is clean and not strong chemical smelling, and where they don't try to upsell me on everything. The Nail Lounge was all of those things. And not too busy mid-afternoon- I only waited about 2 minutes as a walk in. The pedicure was really nice- I loved the leg scrub and long massage. My polish job was good and has lasted over a week now. My tech never tried to upsell me to gel after I told her what I wanted. She asked if I wanted to add a manicure and this is when it got interesting. I decided my cuticles could use some attention but that I didn't want polish. (I'm a pianist; I keep my nails short and simple.) She took me to a table that first of all didn't have a wrist rest, even though almost all of the others were available. She filed my nails and trimmed my cuticles VERY quickly, ran over the tops of my nails with the scratchy orange sponge (I still have scratch marks on my nails) and then asked if I wanted them buffed. Well yeah, now I do! She pulled out one of those 4 sided things you buy at Walmart and did some halfhearted "buffing." The hand/arm massage, again, was nice. Here's the kicker. I went to check out and my tech told the cashier what to charge (in Vietnamese). It seemed a little high to me when I saw $30 for the manicure. So I tipped only 10%, figuring that would balance it out. I grabbed a pamphlet/menu on my way out and in the car I saw the actual prices for a manicure. I think for the "manicure" I got, $20 would have been fair; $25 at the most. Maybe even the "child" $15 price! Now if you've read this far and are waiting for a great story, sorry to disappoint. I did not go storming back in and demand a refund. My lowball tip was good enough for me. I will probably go back because it's a nice place with a relaxing vibe. I really liked the tempo of the pedicure. I will not get another manicure here. For what I wanted, I could do that myself. Buyer beware: know your prices ahead of time!! read more

I would not recommend this nail salon to friends and family I went in and requested a pedicure and was seated and was not greeted by the woman who was providing my service and she was more interested in her phone the first 30mins of my service and did not offer any beverages I had to request a water and I let the situation of her being on her phone go for a while (while I read my book) until she sat there in front of me for multiple minutes not doing my service texting on her phone..i had to put down my device and stare at her until she saw me looking at her and she finally put her phone down.. I get that situations come up and if that is the case the situation and cell phone should be taken to the back and should not be done in front of a customer... at the end of my service she followed me up to the register and stood by the checkout lady.. and waited to see if if I was going to give her a tip.. the cashier did not even ask me if I wanted to tip her. She just got my change and gave it to my service provider... I think that is very rude to not ask a customer if they want to tip and for you to decide on your own to give the service provider a tip from my leftover change.. I had to pull my provider aside and tell her that I was not satisfied with my service by her and that the only reason I was fine with giving her the change was because she did the service not because she did a good job... I got the cosmo pedicure and it was actually very nice. The gentleman who did it was great. Listened to what I had to say and was very gentle. I then did a full set on my hands with a super basic design. I asked if he could do it and he said yes. Both hands looked different. Acrylic was super thick I ended up having to even out the edges and corners by myself. It was so so, probably not worth the money spent.
