Portion size

The crepes were outrageously expensive for what they gave. ONE crepe SMALL crepe is 18$. Yes 18$. As in 18 dollars. False advertising for the strawberry and 'cream' crepe. It's just 1-2 strawberry's very thinly sliced and some jam no cream filling of Any sort the crème is whip cream. A little bit on top that's it... also the hazelnut crepe is just Nutella..... with not even a quarter of a banana and strawberry. The customer service was okay but overall I wouldn't recommend unless you need to spend money just to spend money and leave hungry. Place was beautiful but not for the prices I'm so sorry!

The food The good was gluten free and there are many non dairy and a few vegan options. They use teff instead of wheat which, if you are not familiar, is from Ethiopia and is a miracle grain. It's nutritious, gluten-free and grows quickly with less water than many crops. It is used to make traditional Ethiopian flatbread called injera. What a great idea to use this grain for crepes - savory and sweet. While I am not gluten-free, those who are must appreciate this aspect, a lot! The service I would like to give grace in my review for all categories. There was an unfortunate family emergency and the menu was limited and they were understaffed for a few hours, only. I hope that everything has worked out for the best for the owners and their family - I will return in a few weeks. Ambiance It's an adorable cafe in brand new building in the now growing down town of Holly Springs. It is bright and has exposed ceiling and industrial-style lights. The dining areas are almost diagonally separated from one another - so, two separate areas to eat and a large communal area outside for multiple shops including a creamery and an Asian restaurant.

Unfortunately I need to update my rating once again. The last four times I've visited they have been out of pretty staple menu offerings. My sister and I met for lunch specifically to get the salmon crepe (my fave savory crepe on the menu) only to find they were out of salmon. Bummer. They were later out of salmon (again) and sausage. The last two times I was there they were out of oat milk. The first time, I was eating there and was offered an almond milk latte instead. The foam was completely solid and weird. I scooped it out and drank what remained and then was sick to my stomach the rest of the day. Fast forward a month and I placed a takeout order - waffle and latte. When I arrived to pick it up they had not even started making it even though no customers were waiting on food. Then, the person making the coffee held up an empty oat milk carton announcing they were out of oat milk. WHAT?!?!? Who is in charge of buying for this operation and why can't they get themselves together?! I canceled the entire order and have zero plans to give this place a 50th chance. Very disappointing because this could be a really amazing place. I've been a number one fan recommending them again and again. And it's so nearby. I really wanted this to be my go-to place from the moment they opened. I can no longer support.

Yep, I'm updating my review to max out the stars. I've been a regular at this spot lately for a good reason: they're a great business with fine food. All the things I held against them earlier (and they were minor things btw) are thrown out the window. I wish LK loads of success. A.

I decided to stop by since I was in the area and wanted to try something new. I walked inside and ordered the lemon blueberry waffle and Le Chèvre and Hot Chocolate. I ordered and paid with the cashier, took a number and found a place to sit. Once your order is complete, it is brought over to you by an employee. The food was very tasty and I only realized that it was a gluten free only restaurant because it said so on the window that I was eating at. Other than that, I would have had no idea. The place itself is clean, rather busy and the noise level is above average.

So this place has plenty of indoor and outside seating! Savory and sweet crepe options. It was really good! I'll definitely be back to try other items. One of our crepes was outstanding and the other one was good but nothing out of this world. Definitely worth trying more items off the menu

I love this cute little place. This was my first time. My daughter loves crepes so I wanted to give this place a try. I had a chicken sausage crepe. It was absolutely delicious. The strawberry lemonade was fresh and with a nice tartness. The food took a little bit of time, mainly because it was made to order and fresh. I will definitely come back to try other menu items.

I have found a new local favorite. I can't explain how good my food was. How satisfying the meal. The crispy sweet waffle, the topping, everything was perfectly good with wonderful flavors. The beet salad was also delicious. My to-go order arrived in perfect shape and looked just like it would on a plate which I really appreciated. Many times orders arrive deconstructed and you have to assemble. And maybe sometimes because of the food that is needed. But everything arrived perfectly plated. So pretty. I took tons of pics! I will be getting this exact order again after I've tried everything else. So good! Next time I want to eat in.

Lovegrass Kitchen is now open in Downtown Holly Springs. This place is serving up sweet and savory crepes, liege waffles, salads, açaí bowls and drinks. My husband and I split the le chèvre crepe and dark chocolate strawberry crepe. They were out of a lot of ingredients since we visited later in the day. Both of the crepes were so good but for the price I would expect a little bit more filling. I'll have to try this spot again earlier in the day because I really want to try the honey lavender lemonade.

Refreshing Acai Bowl
Cam N.

This is the Refreshing Acai bowl. They told us after it was done that they were out of the açaí powder (the star ingredient) and most toppings. They also didn't have any spoons. This took about 20 minutes to make. This was also $13. LOL.

Very quaint. Great customer service, food is fresh and not overly sweet. Great options for crepes, salads, and smoothies. The place needs better signage from the street, as it does not have good visibility for cars going by, but once you are there it is worth the stop.

"Smoked turkey"
Michael C.

Very expensive, small portions, and a bowl of cold cuts passed off as "smoked turkey." Waffles were good but that doesn't make up for the smoked turkey. They refunded me for it, which is why I left 3 stars instead of 2.

When I walked into the Paul and Jack Cary location, I smiled because it finally felt like home. I miss the cinnamon rolls from the west coast and couldn't wait to try theirs without the icing! It didn't disappoint! Moist, not too sweet and tasty!!! There is a good variety of pastries beyond the typical cookies and cakes found in this area :-) The only drawback is that their prices are much much higher than what I am used to, but I will be back in the future for a treat!

When we…read morearrived in town for my son's graduation, he said that he wanted to take me to this same location for Mother's Day, and that it is an amazing bakery now with these warm, fresh donuts that I must try, stuffed with lots of different jams and fillings, sprinkled with sugar, called Bombolinis. Don't ask me twice. I'm always down for trying a bakery. We were lucky to find parking when we pulled up (private lot and street parking available), and the place was packed, understandably, for Mother's Day. There are patio seats and indoor seating, and the order line was stretching around the tables and out the door. We quickly grabbed a spot in line and I barely had time to snap photos, Lol. I wanna say those cinnamon rolls in the pastry case looked amazing, smothered in thick cream cheese. Our crowd ordered our lattes and pastry items. We chose to get our croissants warmed up and we took everything to-go. There are napkins and utensils by the door so you can grab them and throw them in your bag on your way out. We broke into our warmed spinach croissants and cheese croissants while on the road. My creamy spinach croissant was amazingly delicious. My sister also loved hers. My son said he should've gotten the spinach because it looked and tasted better than the cheese croissant. I will definitely order again. I had to save room because I knew I was trying my Bombolini soon. I chose the Raspberry Pistachio Bombolini. My daughter and sister chose the Blueberry Lemon Bombolini. Let me just say make sure you have a change of clothes or you are eating this stuffed donut with a lot of napkins because the fillings are jam-packed and juicy. They were running down my hands and I had to run into a bathroom to wash up. My sister had an incident with her Bombolini - it squirted all over her shirt right before her flight. Luckily, she had a change of clothes ready. Definitely worth it. Delicious fresh pastries, here with rotating and seasonal amazing flavor combinations. Ambience was loud, bustling, and happy on this Mother's Day Sunday morning.
