Searching out wedding venues for something simple and low stress. Found this place online and their wedding information package is the most accommodating I've seen so far. I don't know that any burger with chips should cost $25 but mine was certainly tasty and filling. Lots of Cajun thick cut chips served along side a chicken burger topped with smoked cheddar and smoked bacon! The smoked cheddar was terrific; especially the crispier bits. I splurged on an $8 hot chocolate but it wasn't your norm. Bonfire smoked, milk/dark choc blend complete with smoked sea salt and toasted marshmallows. Served in a lidded glass jar that's all about the smoke appeal.
Other tables ordered platters and they definitely turned my head. The gourmet pantry section is worth a look before paying for your meal. Sauces, jerky, smoked meats, olives, honey and cheeses, jams and crackers. Many of the items made on site by the owner. Gift certificates and cooking classes too. read more
