Can highly recommend the banquet style of dining for large groups. You won't leave hungry. I absolutely stuff myself every visit! This time was the Gold banquet ($47 pp) with short soup to start followed by a mixed entree selection (prawn toast, spring rolls, satay chicken skewers, dim sims). Mains to follow were honey prawns, garlic prawns, fried rice, satay chicken, chow mien and a beef dish that I can't recall. Ending with deep fried ice cream with butterscotch sauce, tea/coffee and fortune cookies.
If you don't mind filling it yourself they are happy to supply containers for leftovers. Service can be chaotic as they are usually fully booked and most often it is by large groups.
I have been once as one of two people which I am very much wanting to repeat. It was my very first visit. Relaxed and definitely more intimate. Looking forward to picking my meal too rather than opting for a banquet. read more
