The dentist came up with a plan to cement my crown back in, but they didn't stop there. The dental assistant basically dropped everything to make 2 dental trays to house the tooth in case it fell out during my trip! I was able to pick up the trays on the way to the airport. I couldn't ask for a more caring, compassionate staff.

If this office wasn't so amazing, I would probably go only in the event of a dire emergency. What makes them amazing? First, they are super kind, skilled, and caring people. The patient care and attention to experience is excellent. Everyone is very attentive and helpful during the appointments, and the staff is fast to connect remotely via call, text, and email. I always know they're organized and really personable and have things under control. Case in point: my appointments run on time! Crazy. I used to take a half day off work or more if I needed any work (even minor fillings) because I expected to spend so much time sitting around waiting and not knowing when anyone would get to me or how long it would take. My appointments at Coolbreeze consistently start and end on time. I even needed a series of procedures recently and was advised to plan on a two hour appointment...It took EXACTLY two hours. Amazing!! I wouldn't have been upset if there had been a 15 or 20 min overage, but other dentists and doctors I've been to sometimes leave you sitting for ages, prepped and completely at their mercy / timeline waiting to be seen. Dr Kainth and his staff are really punctual and professional. Why else do I love them? They're very patient with people who don't like dental work. They're very attuned to how you're doing as a patient, offering breaks, trying to keep you comfortable. I am frankly a bit of a crybaby when it comes to people messing with my teeth but they are empathetic. Even when I've messed up, gotten off schedule, waited too long between appointments, they are helpful and not preachy or judgey. I also really appreciate that Dr Kainth offers me options. I came to him initially for a second opinion because another practitioner told me I needed a front tooth filling, which that practitioner said would only be cosmetically viable through an entire set of veneers. Not delighted at the idea of filing down several teeth and going through an extensive procedure for a very small amount of decay, I visited Coolbreeze and asked what they thought. Dr Kainth said he thought he could give me a simple filling that I'd be happy with, and he did, and I was / am. He's also not overly filling-happy. There have been times he's said, "Yes, there's some softness in this tooth, but if it's not bothering you let's just watch it." He and his staff make suggestions but they don't over-diagnose and they've never pressured me into anything. Overall, highly HIGHLY recommend! This is a super well run and caring office. They're so nice that they calm my natural inclination to defer appointments and treatment, because I know that they'll take care of me and make it the best experience possible.

Their website shows that they are open until 7pm. Therefore, being unable to call, I tried the CHAT window on their website. At first, there was no response. Then, after about 20 minutes, there was a response. I asked for an appointment, and I was offered the next day or the next Thursday. I wrote that anytime on Thursday (15-FEB-2024) was fine. But I never received a response. I tried also to use the "First Visit" link on their website to fill out forms and paper-work, but it always failed. It is now 17-FEB-2024, and I never received a response for the time of an appointment on 15-FEB-2024. Therefore, I decided that there were already too many red-flags (unanswered phones, unresponsive CHAT, failure to follow up on scheduling via CHAT, and web-site errors attempting to download forms via "First Visit"), and decided to try to find a different dentist.

Kelly, Crystal and I chatted while I filled out the paperwork. They treated me more like a family member than just a client. Denise took me to the room and I put down my belongings. She lead me to a state of the art x-ray machine and took the first set of x-rays. Another set of x-rays were taken. She offered me water before the doctor came in. She, too, was very friendly and was good conversation. Dr. Haghi came in and we discussed the results of the treatment options and settled on a treatment plan. She listened to my concerns and didn't (like every dentist I've been to before) talk down to me or demand I do what she said because she was the expert. Crystal came back and discussed my treatment plan and the associated costs. She explained that I could apply for CareCredit (if my credit was good enough) and we discussed the different ways the payments could be broken up. I needed a deep cleaning and she allowed me to choose whether or not to break it up into two appointments or get it over with in one. I was grateful to have the option to get it over with in one pop. Denise came in and put a small mask over my nose to administer the nitrous oxide and gave me a blanket. (I don't care how old I get; if you offer me the comfort of a blanket, I will take it!) Kevin, the hygienist, was very attentive during the deep cleaning and was very careful not to hurt me. He allowed me breaks for enough time to cough (I'm a mouth breather who clearly thinks I'm part fish and that I'll do okay aspirating water. That folks, is 100% my fault and 0% Kevin's fault.) After the cleaning, he took more x-rays and showed me that he actually did get all the gunk out from under the gum line. He scheduled me for my free one month follow up, gave me my "goody bag" of dental items, educated me on how to better maintain my mouth at home, and suggested products that are conveniently sold there at the office for a very fair price. I opted to get a tooth extracted. Denise assisted Dr. Haghi in the process. I think the shots to help numb the area were worse than getting the tooth pulled. The tooth extraction took about five minutes. The doctor consulted me on what I normally take for pain; wrote a prescription for mouthwash, antibiotics, and my pain medication. Denise administered oxygen for five and I chilled out to the streaming music in the office. I went up front and paid. My ride hadn't gotten there. So I had a chat with Crystal and Kelly until my ride showed.

Dr. Kuhre made sure I was numb and wouldn't feel any pain throughout the procedure and he did an excellent job. Over the years, he's provided me with retainer repairs by just applying extra bonding to my permanent retainer and also mouth guards, X-rays and cleanings, which are provided by his dental hygienists. My teeth always feel clean and everyone in the office is very nice, helpful and accommodating to your schedule. I love Cornerstone Dental and will always be a customer.
