After receiving an emergency orthodontic procedure, I decided to return for my general cleaning. This facility is very modern very clean very professional, and very friendly. The Services provided are not rush but they take their time when it comes to cleaning your teeth. I feel comfortable with the services provided and I feel the staff are very professional and technically proficient. The equipment is very modern and up-to-date and the staff are trained in the newest technology for dental care. The prices are not cheap however, you get what you pay for top-notch service is not cheap, It does cost, but it well worth it. read more

I came across Erickson Dental after having a bad experience with another Irving dentist. First, let me say that I am an "old guy" who has been to ten or twelve dentists throughout my life. I have had some good ones, bad ones, and some that are only trying to run up your dental tab. I can assure you that is not the case with Erickson Dental. Both Dr. Erickson and Dr. Nackvi provide an extremely professional, accurate, and honest, assessment of your dental work. By far, the experience provided at this dental office is superior to any I have received: from the service at the front desk to the exit consultation, you are treated as thought you are the most important patient to them. The office always provides you with financial options and a prioritization of the dental work that is needed. You can tell that both dentists honestly care about you, as a patient. Having had history of quite a bit of dental work done on my teeth, previously, I can compare that the work is done here was completed with almost zero pain. My husband and I thought we found our new dental office after moving until we were charged over $700 for an annual visit for my husband (X-ray, cleaning and exam) that should have been covered 100% based on what was communicated by the front desk. The problem is they gladly accepted us and told us our insurance was accepted without once mentioning they would be billing out of network. They also admitted there was turnover in the front staff who should have communicated this. You might be battling the insurance companies but you sure hurt us. We've been seeing Erickson Dental for about 3 years now. I can't say enough about their practice. The space is beautiful and clean. Both dentists are so gracious and accommodating. Today I saw Dr. Naqvi and he did a great job on a cavity we've been watching since we started going to them. They're not quick to fix things unless necessary which I appreciate. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Erickson and the team! My first experience is when I moved to Dallas and I needed to transfer my Invisalign treatments to a new dentist in a new state. I called around and was not really getting straight answers from anyone. I called Erickson Dental and Lori was extremely helpful and so friendly. She made me feel comfortable and welcome to come in for a consult. Dr. Erickson's attention to detail and great bedside manner was unmatched by any dentist I have been too. I finished out my treatment and was very happy. I then had an accident with a scooter and broke my front teeth. In an absolute panic, I called the office and they got me in right away. The whole team remembered me and came to see me when I was getting all patched up. It was so nice to have somewhere to go where I trusted the Dr. and team and felt comfortable putting my teeth in their hands. Shout out to Claire who always can calm me down when I'm having a meltdown! :) I couldn't recommend them more! To start off, majority of the staff was great. My first time visiting this office I was set up for an appointment to fix my wire retainer which had broken. Long story short, they "didn't have time to fix my retainer due to my 'welcome visit' that I wasn't informed about (if you wear a retainer you know the urgency to fix it before you teeth begin to shift). To be fair, they offered to make me a plastic retainer to hold my teeth in place until they could get me back in two weeks later, which i accepted.. at this point I had been at the office for almost 3 hours during which they only completed X-rays and a basic cleaning.. I still had to wait for my temp retainer so they told me to run home and come back in an hour for pickup.. I come back 45 minutes later to them saying that they messed up the first mold and needed to take another and start over. As I wait, I overhear my dental assistant asking the "finance manager" what my options for payment are just to hear the finance manager say "she's lucky if her insurance even covers her x-rays" .. If you've been then you're aware how open the building is, if the finance women gets nothing from this review it's to maybe not talk crap about the patients so loudly.. I went back to get my retainer finally put in. I ended my appointment again with this arrogant finance manager.. She tells me that I need to pay for my appointment up front because she's "sure" my insurance won't cover it. I've never visited a dental office that refuses to even verify your insurance before requesting full payment. She finally asks if I'd like her to call my insurance in front of me to prove her point and I say, yes. The insurance woman gladly looks up my information and informs her that the specific treatment is covered by 50%.. Finance lady insists that the woman understand what the exact treatment is before saying it's covered, the woman on the phone goes "Yes, i'm aware what the treatment is and the code you gave is covered 50%" ... We finally get off the phone and the finance woman rudely goes "fine, you can pay half and if the insurance doesn't cover then we'll be in contact", i agree ... She then goes to type in my payment amount and inserts my card before i stop her and point out she's STILL charging me for the full amount, she goes "oops" and changes the payment. Moral of my story, I won't knock anybody's good experience here but mine was terrible. Always know about your insurance before going into places like this, they will gladly take more money than they should and will clearly get away with as much as they can if they aren't called out. Obviously I won't be back. read more

Best dental office ever! After having insurance that was not accepted by their office, I had to endure a couple of dentists that were not nearly as excellent as ED. I never waited more than a few minutes to be seen. They always communicated billing, fees, and treatments needed upfront. There were no guessing games or hidden/surprise fees. My entire family goes to see Dr. Erickson. After I turned 26 and got my employers insurance I could no longer go see the Erickson team. It's been 5 years later and now my insurance provider has changed and I immediately went back to my home! Love the staff, they rarely flip staff members, Dr. Erickson is charming, friendly, and just wants what is best for your teeth. Dr. Erickson and his entire staff is AMAZING! I was seen in their office last week for the first time and after a sudden conflict, they were so kind to work me into the schedule later in the day. I immediately felt like I was a priority to all the staff when I walked in. My hygienist did an amazing job with my X-rays, my cleaning, and explaining absolutely everything. Erickson Dental is a practice that has transitioned from its original dentist, Dr. Leber, to Dr. Erickson. I've been lucky enough to get great care from both over the nearly 15 years that I've been going there. Because this is a long-established practice, they have a team that has been working together for years. Everything goes smoothly: from scheduling to insurance consultations to cleanings to minor and major procedures. Every member of the team is as professional as they could possibly be--and very friendly too. Dr. Erickson does really great work. Whenever I'm "in the chair" he always lets me know what's happening, what I should be sensing or feeling, and what to expect after the procedure is over. After some procedures, I get a check-up call later in the evening just to make sure I'm alright. Dr. Erickson is the first dentist I've had that's done this. Prior to coming to Erickson Dental, I was very irregular with my cleaning appointments. That would periodically result in an ad hoc appointment to fix something. However, after finally getting on a regular schedule for cleanings with Cheryl, I went years in between fillings. I never knew life could be so great! Bottom line: if your are anywhere near the Irving area, you should definitely consider Erickson Dental. The whole crew has my highest recommendation. read more

I was referred to Erickson Dental by a friend who had nothing but good things to say. Low and behold she was correct!!! Being new to the Dallas area my experience started with my first phone to make an appointment, to the call I made when I needed directions (Google missed this one), to my arrival, to my services, to my exit that same day. It was absolutely great, I was really really impressed by the professionalism and kindness of this staff; and the compassion and gentleness of Dr. Erickson...not to mention their new state-of-the-art office. I love Dr.Erickson! He is a wonderful doctor and keeps a very comfortable establishment! He will personally call you to check in on you after having a procedure done which I think is outstanding! The staff is very friendly as well! My only bad experience was that my Invisalign aligners came in 3 weeks later than they were supposed to and they couldn't fit me in for 3 more weeks to get fitted for them. I have a very busy work schedule at the holidays so I was ecstatic that I would be receiving them back in November before things got hectic for me. I paid for the Invisalign in FULL and expected to have them at thanksgiving as I was told and now I won't have them until the second week of January. I understand that the medical field gets cram packed at the holidays as well but there was no apology for getting my aligners in late and no effort in fitting me in sooner. I am pretty disappointed with that experience because I wouldn't expect it from an outstanding facility like this one. That's the only reason I didn't give it five stars. read more

I have to say, I had a rough road that led to Dr, Erickson, but I am so very happy I found him! I have had horrific dental work done that was far from quality! Dr. Erickson is a master of his craft. He is a perfectionist, with a gentle hand and amazing attention to detail. He is extremely knowledgeable. He did excellent clean up from the previous dentist including a root canal therapy re-treatment due to the previous work. I will never love dental work, don't get me wrong. But it is a pleasure working with a Dentist who cares and takes his time to make things perfect! I have been to several Dentists in the area, and know for a fact, you will not find another dentist like Dr. Erickson! Amazing staff! Immaculate office! He even personally called to check on me after our first appointment of the re-treatment. You will not find that anywhere else! read more
