I made an appointment to get 'Master' Aimee (the owner) to apply both my Romantic lashes and bottom lashes. The waiting room is quite comfortable, nicely decorated, and well lit. You will need to sign a consent form before you get your eyelashes done which I was surprised to find out, but very understandable. The experience was painless and very comfortable. I do wish that me spending more to get the owner of the salon to do my lashes would result in the most informative appointment, but I feel that the other women that worked here were more assisting in that department. I would recommend not wearing shoes that will restrict nerves going to your feet since my feet were totally numb during the application of my upper lashes. I was a bit disappointed that I did not get to have my lower lashes done (which is what I really wanted), because there was something wrong with the adhesive or lashes; but, I am still really happy and content on the overall look of my upper lashes. THE STAFF- I only got to meet Owner Aimee, whom applied my lashes. Although she did not explain the process of taking care of my lashes or what products not to use, she answered any question(s) I had. She was very personable and educated about the overall look of my lashes and made me feel at ease when she told me she would change anything I didn't find that fit. I was always so hesitant about getting my lashes done, but after doing research and since I was going on vacation I thought what the heck! Why not try it out! Mandie was my tech and she was extremely professional, she was knowledgeable, patient and very kind. She gave me exactly what I wanted, and to my surprise my lashes lasted longer than 3 weeks. It was a natural but very flattering look that wasn't too extreme. -One downside was finding the location. They recently moved so it's hard to narrow down the location on google maps. but a tip is to look for the All state/Legal office plaza and it is in there. read more

I had my first fill (second visit) to Love Your Lashes today and am in love. I've had Long Mi for the past few years, but Amy at LYL is fabulous; my lashes look natural and they are super lightweight. My eyes don't burn after the appointment which is a big deal because they are light in color and generally just a bit sensitive. I'd take a photo and show them off if I weren't sitting on the couch make-up-less :). Bravo to Amy and the good people of Love Your Lashes. I got my lashes done here three times and will not go back again. I had a very bad experience the third time. The owner is very rude and after I expressed distaste with my lash extensions she blamed me for every reason under the sun as to why they don't look good. I probably would have brushed the bad experience under the rug but after the owner got involved she made the experience much worse by blaming me! Ugh. Very happy with my new lashes by Makenna (sp?)! I'm a total virgin to lash extensions and I didn't know what to expect. She went over everything with me, answered my million questions and made me feel at ease. The salon is adorable and comfortable. I was able to book my appointment online the night before and found the website easy to maneuver through. I signed up for a free consultation, after which I decided to start with the flirty lashes, the newbie package. It took a little over an hour for her to put the lashes on. I was so freaked out that I would have to keep my eyes open during the process, but I actually had them closed the entire time. It was easy and painless. She said the lashes should last a couple weeks. I'm excited to see how they work out. My permanent makeup artist suggested I give these a try before tattooing permanent eyeliner on. I've hesitated on writing this review, but after having my eyelashes done elsewhere, I think it's only fair. First off, my initial appointment was made with an apprentice at the encouragemehnt of whoever called me back. I ended up with beautiful lashes and 1 cut eyeball (apparently a possibility although it was never explained.) My first disappointment was their failure to honor their Yelp deal. I was told that it would not be honored because I made an appointment with an apprentice - check that Yelp deal though, notice the lack of fine print on exclusions. Second disappointment, fast forward to one week later and I have almost NO lashes left, so I make an appointment for a fill with the owner, thinking maybe things would go better this time. Part of the way through my appointment she tells me they may not look like I want because I only booked a 45 minute appointment. Also, if I want them fuller I need to pay an additional $20 for "volume". No thanks, if you're telling me these should last AT LEAST 2 weeks, and I'm coming back as a new customer after 1 week I would think you'd make things right. Third strike, I made a final follow up appointment online through their website only to show up to my appointment and be told "you must have done something wrong." I was told that everyone was booked and the error was my fault. While this may very well be correct, it's pretty poor customer service all around. The lashes' failure to stay longer than 1 week, the high prices, and poor customer service combined all led me to go elsewhere. I have since learned that a "trick of the trade" is to use a heavier gauge lash for a fuller initial look, but that if you have fine fair like I do, it will not last very long at all. So, thanks for that LYL, your lashes were beautiful and full but not worth it. I trusted your professionals to know what weight to use for maximum benefit. read more

I'm not one to leave bad reviews about businesses but my experience was not a good one. This picture is one week old lashes. I have had lashes for long periods of time and I understand at home care and cleaning. If anything, this might be how lashes would look on week 3. There is clearly a patch missing on one eye and the other eye has a clumped area in the same spot, the outer lashes weren't even touched with extensions, and I thought I was paying for two hours when I was done in hour and a half. I have seen AVINA twice now...and all I can say is WOW! She is absolutely professional and really takes her clients into consideration when performing services. She was able to give me exactly the length and volume I was looking for. I previously had a horrible experience with an eyelash extension service I purchased on Groupon. The lady glued one false eyelash to multiple of my own lashes, causing itchiness and pain. They also fell out after a few days. Love Your Lashes is SO by the book and follows the correct procedures and practices. ONE false lash per ONE natural lash. They use just the right amount of glue too. After THREE weeks, my lashes were still on!!! I couldn't believe how good they looked even though I still wanted a fill to get back to the original lash count. Love Your Lashes is super trendy and chic, not to mention the fact that it is SANITARY. They are extremely careful about keeping not only your lashes clean, but their work stations and hands. When it comes to business ethics and customer satisfaction, I must recommend that you find another eyelash studio. My initial set of eyelashes were not even, could not be seen on one eye, and were not what I asked for, but Aimee corrected them. I was very happy. I then kept my scheduled fill appointment and was told I was taking great care of them because they were in good shape. Then something went wrong and later that day the eyelashes began to shed unusually and they were twisting. The next morning, I texted Aimee, which is how she likes to communicate, explaining something was not right with my lashes this time and asked to come in so she could see them. I received a response when I sent a second text two days later. Aimee's response was "maybe you're not a candidate for lashes" and "I'm sorry you're unhappy." That's it. I was perplexed. I did finally get a appointment six days from the fill and by that time the lashes were worse than before my fill. Lashes were added sparsely (see picture taken that day) and the appointment was rushed. It was also apparent that she was not happy to fix them. (The next customer came in so I didn't get to look at them before I left.) THE NEXT DAY I hesitantly contacted Aimee again and asked if my lashes could be filled in the way they should be. I was then told that she will "not make an appointment with someone that is never happy." She didn't even ask to see them. I asked for a refund so another person could fill them properly. She said she would remove them for free, but no refunds. "End of story. If you're unhappy go somewhere else." Why would I want them removed? I had come in due to an emergency and need the lashes until mine grow back. I just wanted lashes as advertised and to look the way they did when they are done correctly. read more

I have been to multiple lash extension establishments, including one in LA, and this is by far the best quality service you can get. I have been getting my lashes done with LYL for over a year now, and they never disappoint. The lashes themselves are of much higher quality, as they feel light and non-irritating, while other establishments offer cheaper scratchy lashes. The LYL staff also go through training to make sure it is only 1 extension on 1 lash so they're not heavy or all clumped or stuck together. It is definitely worth it, because unfortunately I have had that bad experience before. I have gotten many compliments on my lashes.. many thinking they were my real lashes, but no LYL staff are just very skilled at making them look so long and natural :) So happy to have found this place and would recommend to anyone who is looking for quality lash service. read more

Extremely rude. Never had a worse encounter. I called enquiring about prices, and when I said I had found another salon that could do cheaper, she cackled sarcastically, and said "God bless you." I then received a patronizing lecture about the horrors that happen when you don't want to pay $200. I'm more than open to tips and suggestions, but she didn't want to be helpful; she was judgemental. I did not need a holier-than-thou technician putting me down for wanting to save money. I know this isn't a review on the lashes, but I felt people needed to know how terrible their customer service skills are. This has been my first time at Love Your Lashes, but I loved it!! I just went in for a brow-shaping, but I'm tempted to try out the lash services now! The salon is clean and well-maintained, which is really important to me. For the service you receive, the prices are very reasonable. I went to Avery who completely evened out my brows. My brows are a little to asymmetrical for my liking, and I told her to make my right brow match my left brow as much as possible, which she was totally able to do. Ashley Briggs is AMAZING!!! I just moved down to Roseville and I found a small place (a nail salon with great prices) to fill my lashes...that placed botched the job. I then did an internet search and found Love your Lashes....I called and explained the situation and they fit me in that day! Although the first technician who helped me did an amazing job and I'm sure all the other technicians are just as awesome I have to say in the two years I have been a mother I have NEVER been turned away for service for having my daughter with me. I got to my 6pm appointment at 540pm and wasn't even acknowledged till 615pm! I even pleaded with them that I am in the Air Force, commuted the 45 min from the base and I'm a single mother with no other option but to take my child with me and asked if they have the "no children allowed" advertised and still no help just a suggestion to reschedule and a location I could drop my child off at for care during the appointment. I've never felt so embarrassed. I literally walked out the door with tears in my eyes. I'll never return here and I will be sure that all of my military friends and friends in the area are aware. read more

I was initially really hesitant about writing this review, but in the end I think people need to know how business is ran here. This will be long. My initial experience with LYL was actually really positive. I called sort of last minute needing to get a set of bad lashes off. I was really impressed with how nice they were and how they even got me in same day. I visited the Folsom location, and had Danielle remove my old lashes. She was great, super personable, easy to talk to and was able to get my lashes off with very minimal damage. I walked away really happy. I had scheduled an appt for the following week to have Danielle put a new set on. No doubt the facility is beautiful and they obviously spent a lot of time on the "details". Fast forward to yesterday. I had been up all night with an incredibly sick toddler as well as that morning. I received a VM just after 10 am inquiring about my 10 o' clock appt. I was horrified, I missed my scheduled appointment. I called back right away racing through my head how I could make this up to the super sweet lash technician Danielle. I ended up talking with Aimee who was clearly irritated. I was so embarrassed and apologized for the inconvenience. Her attitude was quite off putting. She stated that I would be charged for my missed appointment but she would "let me" re schedule. Wait what??? "Your going to charge me $179 for my missed appt?" I was stunned. She stated she would run my credit card for the stated amount. This made no sense to me as I never gave LYL my credit card information nor authorized ANY CHARGES. Aimee argued with me that she had a signed authorization stating I understood LYL "policies" regarding missed appointments. I was so shocked I had to end in the conversation. Literally 30 seconds later my phone alerted me to a $179 transaction at LYL. I paid by credit card for my original service, however I NEVER AUTHORIZED THIS BUSINESS TO KEEP MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ON FILE! Within 10 minutes I received a call from Danielle who was incredibly apologetic about what had happened. She confirmed speaking with Aimee and told me she knew I never signed authorization forms and that my money would be refunded. Come to find out the condescending and extremely rude girl at the front desk is actually the owner. She is completely unapologetic about the entire experience and actually stands by her business practices. It has been a nightmare dealing with her and trying to get them to remove my CC info. I have never in my life been so violated by a business. Hey Aimee, strong arming patrons into paying you for missed appointments is low class.
