Noah & Kelly don't know how to treat customers with respect, don't listen patiently to customer complaints before saying/ imposing their own views/opinions & don't even apologize after being extremely disrespectful. FULL APPOINTMENT: Noah is one of the most RUDE hairstylist & humans I encountered. With inadequate etiquette in talking/listening. Very impatient in listening, argumentative, stepped over my shoes, suppressed & cut my points off multiple times, when I tried to explain how I wanted my balayage. Not welcoming or friendly. He was being condescending & disrespectful to my own views/ideas. Unbelievable! If you will need a couple minutes or more to elaborate your ideas, he wouldn't just listen till the end, PERIOD. For lack of patience & respect, he interrupted my points, loudly imposing his own opinions in a bossy & rude tone. RAISED VOICE & FRUSTRATION ON ME MULTIPLE TIMES. While feeling suppressed due to this kind of conversation, I was shocked at one moment when I was simply expressing my thought, & he suddenly cut me & angrily SHOUTED "you're not listening to me". Look at his Audacity. I don't visit a hair salon to listen to a loud barber. Finally, after he shouted on me in this bossy tone, my limit was over, & I indicated to him that he is being disrespectful, so I won't book him again, then he became extremely angry & behaved in a completely unacceptable/shocking way. He quickly lost his temper, angrily pushed the color tray away in front of me & left while the chemical was still in my hair, behaved in this hostile manner (which I haven't ever seen before in such business) Owner Kelly came but denied Noah's mistake & didn't apologize at all, when I asked. She favored Noah & didn't even ask him to apologize. I asked her 2-3 times to accept mistreatment from their side & apologize, she ignored & disrespectfully said "you should just stop talking now". And had the audacity to ask me to get out of salon. My hair was still dripping wet & water falling everywhere. I told her that I will dry my hair with towel (which was their responsibility but denied to do) & I will leave when water will not be dripping all over my clothes. Noah came back, manhandled my personal property(bag) without my permission & then as I was just leaving, he physically assaulted me- forcefully touched & pushed me 6-7 times with his hands towards the door, (even after strictly warning him multiple times to not touch me). KELLY FAVORED THIS ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR FROM NOAH. Please a request to all women, stay safe and beware of Noah, he was very aggressive, got easily frustrated, doesn't know his boundary & physically assaulted me at the salon. He quickly lost his temper and threw the color tray away in front of me, behaved in this shocking and unacceptable manner after being told that he is not listening properly (which i haven't ever seen before in any business). For lack of my better judgment, I realized this behavior only in my 2nd appointment (although his behavior was rude & did improper hair color (for lack of listening) even in 1st, but he told me it was a misunderstanding, so I gave him a benefit of doubt & a 2nd chance in hope for good. Dear people, please beware, the owner favored and accepted this kind of unacceptable behavior too and didn't even ask him to apologize after I told and asked the owner as well as Noah to be respectful and apologize. We all are entitled to ask for our own 'right to respect'. No one has the right in our good society to treat anyone this way. If you behave/treat people improperly, your license needs to be banned.

Everyone was friendly, smiling offering drinks like water, tea, and coffee. I'm an introvert so I'm closed off and shy and tend to observe until I am confident and comfortable. The salon was very inviting, it made it easy for me to approach. Pros: Lilly squeezed me into her schedule on short notice(: She seemed really into making sure she did a good job, talking me through what she was doing. Taking care not to fry my hair and informing me a few times that because of how dark my hair is, I would need to bleach my hair another few times to achieve the light color I would like... this I do know, but with sitting for 40-50 minutes, 15-20 mins under the hair dryer I had hoped for more of a lighter color. Cons: My hair looks chocolate brown. Not what I wanted. I've had my hair bleached before and had gotten a much lighter color close to a gold so the chocolate brown is disappointing me. When layering my hair I asked her if she could do a "V" in the back for my layered hair, I don't think she understood or heard me?... the layers I got aren't the layers I wanted, I expected more than just one layer?... though I also did not show her reference photos, so that's on me. Not her. The layers are a little more blunt than blended and I honestly feel like I may just need to see another hairstylist who can fix this for me... She did try and make conversation but her conversation was definitely close ended. Again, I'm quiet until I get comfortable but i definitely did not feel like she wanted to hold a conversation with me even though she made many attempts. I believe the words "she tried" sums up my experience... I paid $250 for this result.... I'm just let down.

Considering how last minute my commitment was, I was so so so fortunate to have found and been seen by Alpin. She gave me a beautiful short cut---slightly angled with some personality and texture. I got the cut just over two weeks ago, and it's settled amazing. She also spent time chatting with me beforehand to understand what I was really going for and needing (for me, that was ability to just throw in some waves and go) and then offered suggestions for that goal--she recommended a couple products if i wanted to let it air dry, and showed me some curling iron techniques to get that exact quick effortless look i was going for. You start with cutting your hair (dry of course), then washing, treatment, wet styling, diffusing, and then additional cutting as needed once it's dry and styled and you can see how everything lays. It was so relaxing to sit under the bowl diffuser (they give you free beverages too), and she walks you through exactly how she's wet styling your hair as you go. I paid a lot and tipped very well just for it to look like an amateur cut my hair. Don't come here. I regret coming here as I looked better with my dead ends. I could've cut my own hair better which I have. This was supposed to be a pick me up to make me feel beautiful now 2 days later I am in regret not feeling like how I should and wanted.
