The chicken fried steak is the best. Not greasy. Huge! The gravy is on point. We tried the cream cheese corn and I'd have to say that I thought the green beans are better. The onion rings are incredible! The mashed potatoes are very good. The service is good. The only issue we had was that we had ordered a side order of onion rings. When a huge basket came out, I asked if this was the side order and the waitress quickly commented that she had put it in as a side order but that they sent a whole order. She said she would adjust it but when she brought the check she said that she took off 10%. Quickly doing the math, the basket we were charged for was $11 while the side order is $5. 10% didn't come close and we barely made a dent in the basket of delicious rings. The live music was nice but they might need to tell the entertainer that it isn't meant to be a show, just background. He doesn't need to be the center of everyone's meal. Local Flavor is a must try! We arrived around noon on a beautiful summer Friday, and it wasn't busy at all- we ordered at the counter right away and found a spot on their vibrant pack patio. After receiving our drinks, we were asked what we wanted to order since they close at 8:00. We went ahead and ordered--despite being a little confused as to why we were sat down in the first place. The restaurant staff seemed more concerned about going home than anything else. They turned away four parties who arrived after we did--all of whom brought up the hours that are published online. The hours of operation are not easily seen on the front door--if they are there at all. The food itself was indifferent--and that combined with the lackluster/indifferent service tells me this place will not be around for long. I, for one, am never going back.

Service wasn't very attentive, but our server was genuinely sweet and clearly busy, so we didn't get checked on much. My husband's local beer flight was also a great way to sample the local breweries. The Bella Supreme took about 45 minutes to arrive. The hand-tossed crust was more soft and bread-like than crisp, the toppings were generous, but the pizza lacked flavor and the ingredients didn't taste particularly high quality. I'd come back for the view and drinks, but not for the pizza.

The goat was tender and cooked just right, I am always on the hunt for goat cooked right and honestly it's been quite a long time but this place did not disappoint!! The duck was my absolute favorite, so much flavor packed in, man am I a sucker for some good duck.
