I've never had Australian food so why not try it while in Paris. Hehe. We happened to have a server who was an Aussie so that was unique. And interestingly she has heard about Atlanta so that was cool. Anyway... There was a line when we swung by as it was on a Sunday around lunch time. I guess brunch is still a thing regardless of where you are. But surprisingly with just the two of us, we only waited a few minutes and was seated almost right away. The latte we had was so so. Nothing spectacular to mention. The latte art was pretty and made the latte taste prettier. Yes, I said taste prettier. You partially consume food with your eyes anyway. The chicken parmigiana was so so. There wasn't really anything to really call out, good nor bad. Overall it was good so don't get me wrong, but nothing worth raving about nor to diss. It was a thick cut of chicken with a generous amount of cheese. Their chips were different to me, but that's just me and my limited exposure to different types of foods. The hubs' pick of ceviche was actually pretty delicious. It's not something you'd think Aussie's would do well. But then again, I don't really know much about Australian food. It's actually not something I'd think Australians would have on their menu in general. The thick cuts of fish were really good. The hubs really enjoyed this pick very much. Club Sandwich - my brother is not usually a fan of club sandwich, but whatever they did here actually was good! He was actually quite impressed by it. Only thing is that it was fairly cold. I ordered the chicken burger. It was nothing special. I ate it but don't really remember it. My girlfriend had the club sandwich but didn't care for the gluten free bread that accompanied it. I tried it and agreed that it took away from the general flavor of the meal. Their signature Loulou lager was good. There was another signature beer on the menu that had some floral notes but it wasn't available. Lastly, I ordered the French toast for dessert. My favorite thing to do when visiting a new city is to see if they have an "Australian brunch" spot. They're always the absolute best -- colorful, fresh, healthy, and delicious. After eating many crepes around Paris, stopping by this cute cafe for breakfast was the right choice... TWO days in a row... and let me tell you - eating at the same place twice on vacation is usually something I'm very against. But this place was that good and really energized us with protein, fruits, and veggies for a long day of walking and exploring. Both days, I got the avocado toast with egg on top and a cold-pressed juice. The dish was huge and came with incredible, thick potato wedges and a salad on the side. I loved the ability to have a bit of everything - protein, greens, carbs, and healthy fats. Yummmmmm, yum. The perfect breakfast. We sat outside under the cute, striped awning and the service was quick. You scan a QR code on the table to pay, so you don't have to wait for service when you're ready to go. We decided to grab dinner at LouLou our first night in Paris. It was a very cute little spot with a great patio. We sat down and ordered relatively quickly. We ordered a avocado club sandwich for my wife and a Wills Deli club for me. The food came out quickly and the portion sizes were excellent. Both sandwiches came with fries as well. The pastrami in the Wills club was superb. I'm pretty picky with it and they definitely delivered! My wife said her sandwich was excellent and she would definitely order again.
