We contacted this company to discuss our immediate need for an estimate to provide routine lawn service maintenance, trimming of bushes, hedges & shrubs. We spoke with the owner, Fabian, who stated that his next availability to provide us with an in person estimate would be four days later. We agreed and scheduled for an 8am appointment. Fabian stated that we would receive an email confirming the appointment & details discussed at the conclusion of the phone call, and additionally, on the of the day of the appointment, we would also receive a phone call 30 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time confirming that he was en route, and if we needed to reschedule or cancel that we should do so within 24 hours of our appointment time. We agreed. My spouse and I both received the emails confirming the appointment. On the day of the appointment, we did not receive the phone call prior as indicated and figured that it was possibly an oversight and waited patiently as 8am approached. At 8:08am, my spouse suggested that I sent him a text message asking if we were still meeting as scheduled. I did not receive a response. I called Fabian at 8:14am because he still had not arrived by that time nor responded to my text message. He answered the phone and I said "Good morning Fabian, this in Nicole, I'm calling to see if everything is okay, because we were scheduled for 8am this morning and it's well past that time now?" Fabian said "Yes...ummm...Nicole, so...we got some really urgent news last night that we unexpectedly may have to move sooner than planned. My family and I were planning on moving to Florida next year, but now, it looks like we will be moving much sooner than that." I said "Okay...and that doesn't answer my question." Fabian stated "So based on that, I have to notify my family, and everyone and clients and we have to figure out everything with the company, life happens...so that's what I'm dealing with right now." I stated, "I understand that life happens, however AS A CUSTOMER, you should have contacted ME or MY SPOUSE. You could have sent us a text message late last night. We would have received it in the morning if you felt that it was too late, or you should have called us EARLIER this morning as well to say something. It's 2022, there are NO excuses for not communicating that things changed. You requested that WE provide 24 hrs. notice if we needed to cancel or reschedule, you not doing the same, and additionally not reaching out at all is extremely unprofessional, you've wasted MY TIME, MY SPOUSES TIME and that's disrespectful. I don't appreciate my or his time being wasted. We could have planned our day differently had you communicated with us." He then continued and made excuses stating that "now he's stressed and needing to figure out moving logistics and that he would reach out to another gentleman in the lawn service industry that he could refer us to,but he would reach out to him to see if he could assist us because he does provide services in our area, and that he would also text me the contact information for that individual & the company, so that he's not leaving us high & dry." I said "That's exactly what you did - left us high and dry - and sure, if you're going to do that, send the text, that's fine, but THIS is not the way to conduct business and as a customer, what is taking place in your personal life is not my business; I understand thst things happen unexpectedly, however, my concern is that when there is a lack of communication and it effects US as customers, and WE have to reach out to you after we were already expecting you to be HERE, that is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL." That was 3 days ago...of COURSE he DID NOT text either of us the other company & individuals information as he stated - we didn't expect him to follow through just as he didn't follow through with the appointment. Be aware... don't let Louis Lawn & Landscaping LLC waste your time or energy like they did with us. Screenshots provided below. read more
