I was in and out in 10 minutes with a pass!!…read more I didn't read my DMV registration carefully this year and just paid the fees without getting the SMOG check. Found SMOG World on google with high ratings and very close to my home. I was greeted by the shop human Vic and his cute shop tabby cat Maiden. I was more than happy to play with the cat while waiting for the smog check. Very nice family business and cool people. Apparently they've been in the business for 25 years! I'm not going back to my usual place in LA anymore! Thank you for the great service!!

You can tell he takes pride not only in the work he does on the cars, but also in how he treats his customers. The service was straightforward, honest, and stress-free, which I really appreciate. It's refreshing to come across someone who is knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure the customer feels taken care of rather than just treating you like another transaction. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for honest and professional service. He even polished her headlights at no cost! I'll definitely be coming back in the future!

Called around 11am on a friday and asked if they can do a smog check for a 1996 vehicle. They said yes! Technician was polite and professional. Said since car is quite old there's always a chance of not passing. The whole thing took about 20 minutes and she passed! It was $65 all in which I think is a great price. I will be coming back here when my 96 or any of my other cars are due for a smog check.

The usual place I…read morego to for my other vehicle isn't that close and on the pricier end so I took to yelp to find a new place that's closer to home. I am glad I found Smog Club! It's easier to enter the plaza heading West on Garvey and it's not the easiest place to find as it has a small entry driveway. They only take cars made after 1999 as they do not have a dyno. I highly recommend Anthony and Smog city for your Smog check and some DMV needs. Went in just for a smog check and I left with my DMV sticker as well!

That is cool cuz originally, I'd go to another auto shop/smog check station, but the guy that does the smog check only comes in at certain hours now, which is inconvenient. So, I ended up checking out Freezone. Pros: Decent size lot/shop + a few parking spaces available. The other place I go to is very tight, smaller than this place. Plus, have to back out onto a busy street to get out cuz difficult turn around. Quick service. Speaks fluent English. Cons: the owner(?) is impatient. He is nice when he's not short with you. Hence, minus one star. Next to Banh Mi My Tho. Cash and card accepted.
