Called around 11am on a friday and asked if they can do a smog check for a 1996 vehicle. They said yes! Technician was polite and professional. Said since car is quite old there's always a chance of not passing. The whole thing took about 20 minutes and she passed! It was $65 all in which I think is a great price. I will be coming back here when my 96 or any of my other cars are due for a smog check.

Before I could make a decision, one of my rotors unfortunately snapped while driving, and I immediately called P&W. They ordered the parts the same day and had my car fixed within about 5 hours, replacing all four brake pads and all four rotors for around $1100. This seemed reasonable compared to the BMW dealership quote of $800 for just the rear brake pads alone. Dennis also did a thorough inspection, pointed out a few future issues to keep an eye on, and told me he'd keep everything noted in my file for when I'm ready to tackle those repairs.
