This is a cool little spot in the town area. The people are incredibly friendly. We were lucky to be waited on by a nice lady who said that she's actually off today I had a hot tea and a cinnamon role. It was great ! The heated it and it was just perfect. The wife had a biscuit and she said it was very tasty. This is a great place to visit if you are off the ship early. They open at 8AM but they let us in a few minutes early. read more

Please don't waste your time, this restaurant is a couple amateurs that really have no experience in the restaurant business. We noticed the all day breakfast signs posted near their location the day before, I enjoy breakfast and was looking forward to our meal. We walked into the establishment at 11am, about 4 tables were occupied, and all others were not cleaned, eventually the waitress who looked to be completely overwhelmed told us to sit anywhere, so we had to sit at a dirty table, our orders were delivered, I could cook a better looking breakfast myself, orange juice never delivered, waitress never offered a coffee refill. Was told to walk to counter to pay the bill, of course there was no ticket, had to ask us what we ordered, food was terrible. Never again. read more

Looks like where you go to grab breakfast all day, and read the morning paper to relax, and chat up the locals. A very sweet place, no real booths, just casual tables, and simple decor. The menu board is overwhelming, though with everything from full egg breakfasts to baklava! Love that! I was a bit short on time, so I needed to think fast. On the counter theres a delightful array homemade baked goods ( teacakes, cookies and cinnamon rolls) that I can just grab and go! Also, i love that i can get make a cup of coffee, (kcup choices) and take away to go. I opted for a cinnamon roll, and a coffee! I liked it, homemade, no gooey gunk atop. Just grand cinnamon and rolls and rolls of it too! Do ask for it warmed. :) Great table out front to sip coffee at, especially on a day that's not raining, and the suns out! read more

Lovely! When I arrived I wasn't even sure I was going to stay however I'm glad I did. I was greeted by the owner with a cheerful smile and a warm welcome. I had soup, salad sandwich trio and a slice of pie for dessert with tea. The place is clean. The service is good. And the price is reasonable. A very nice place. I highly recommend it. read more

I was in Sydney for a few days earlier this week and always want to try somewhere new to eat regardless of where I am, so when I Googled what was open for breakfast on weekdays, this place caught my attention. I'd noticed it while driving by it before, but never stopped in. It's in the rear of the old Crowell's location (where the menswear used to be ...lol). I got a parking meter on Charlotte St quite easily, and the main door is on the side (Prince St). I walked in and seated myself immediately at a two-seater table on the far left. There are just a handful of tables there, with maybe seating capacity for 20-30 people in total? Carpeted, simple cafe with a little section that looks like a daycare? I didn't question it. There's also a glass door where you can see into the gift shop next door, which was closed at the time. I was greeted by a staff member almost right away, but had to ask for a menu. Guessing their regular customers just come in for coffee, based on the couple of tables taken around me. I tried the breakfast place (bacon, eggs, toast & hash browns. 7.99). It was standard, with one frozen hash brown that is obviously store bought. No real complaints though for that price, and I was full from it. Looking at their menu, most of the lunch options seem very basic fare, with a Mediterranean emphasis. Nothing special about the place, but if someone I was with wanted to go here any time in the future, I'd have no problem going back. read more

We ended up stranded in Sydney while our vehicle was being repaired. The weather was cold and rainy. Our four kiddos were climbing the walls at the hotel so we bundled up and headed our for a walk. We stumbled upon Louann's and were welcomed with warm drinks, delicious baked goods and a full menu. The best part was the children's play area so the moms could take a break! Louann and her staff were so warm and gracious. We returned the following day! read more

Louann's is a very family-friendly spot. Louann and her staff are all so nice (they adore seeing babies in the restaurant!) and helpful. There is a fantastic children's area, which is great for keeping kids entertained while you eat. The food is okay. I've had some good soups and sandwiches, but nothing that ever made me jump for joy. But they're so gosh darn nice and accomodating, I keep coming back. read more
