I had some serious concerns about the quality of service on my Kia Sorento and reached out to the management team to share my experience. Instead of getting the cold shoulder, I was met with incredible professionalism. Harald Hagen and Justin Britt (the Service Managers) are absolute rockstars. They didn't just apologize; Harald took immediate, decisive action to fix the situation and make sure their team was held to the right standard. They invited me back in yesterday to redo the services (free of charge) and make things right. The difference was night and day! It's nice when a business listens to feedback and puts in the work to earn your trust. If you go here, know that you're in good hands with Harald and Justin. My second time here and I was impressed! The facility is clean and organized. The customer service is great! I came to handle two recalls on my Kia Soul and they took good care of me. They fix the problem as best they could and ordered the part needed to take care of the recall. The light in my car for the engine will not go off even after they worked on it and it passed the test. I have the 2015 Kia holding on. They even washed my car after completing the service rendered. I appreciate the clean car and great service! read more

Long review but worth the read. My experience just got worse as time went on. They were great at first but it all went down hill. I bought the car from about 800 miles away. When I asked to do a walk around, the sales person showed me a few of the scratches but neglected to show most of the little dings and issues the car had. Okay, he went at night but still...at least disclose the info and take a look during the day. Typical "buy the warranty" from the finance guy...not pushy but wanted to me listen to his presentation. After that, it all got worse and worse. First off, they couldn't even give me an estimated timeline on delivery of the car. They didn't know when it had left their dealership. They didn't have a contact number for the shipping company. Car arrived FILTHY. I mean filthy. Coffee stained interior, bad smell, exterior hadn't been washed in months, battery was almost dead (it was an EV). Then I waited. One week...two weeks...by three weeks in after calling and emailing the finance guy, I finally called to talk to a manager who had to overnight me a second temp plate because my plates hadn't come and they were about to expire. I noted that the car was so filthy I had to spend hundreds to have a professional detailer spend hours making the car not stink or be disgusting. The managers response "I do apologize about the detail job but at this time I wont be able to refund anything for the detail." I wonder if I would have gotten that treatment if I lived in the state. Third terrible experience. Scheduled an appointment to have a recall repaired. I asked them to change my daughters turn signal lights, and headlights. One needed to be done, but I like to do the whole set at the same time. (she was going off to college) She called hysterical, telling me they needed to replace the whole lamp assembly and it'll be $1,400+ (possibly more it was a while ago now--as I came on this saved draft) I told her to decline it- they still charged her something like $175 dollars to "diagnose" this. I had this resolved after speaking to the service manager. The initial tech/mechanic was condescending to me; I can only imagine how they spoke to my daughter. If you read this far you're probably wondering what happened... Well, it was actually just an improperly installed light bulb. I simply removed the bulbs, wiped clean the rubber seals and reinstalled them. So, yes. Just one star. read more

This place deserves zero stars. Do not have your car serviced here! I brought my Kia carnival here to have the back passenger door looked at because the automatic sliding door wasn't working properly. I was told before they even looked at any of my car's warranty information that it's not covered because it's considered "normal wear and tear." It's not normal wear and tear. It is shotty craftsmanship from the manufacturer. If it was then the other door would look the same with the glue coming off of it. They quoted me over $500.00 to repair the pinch sensor. I called the kia costumer service line and gave them the part number and it turns out that it is covered by the 60,000 mile 5 year warranty. Every appointment I have had here has gone substantially over the estimated length of appointment, even for something as simple as an oil change. They have a status update system but never update it, hence my being an hour and 20 minutes into the appointment (estimated to last 1.5 hours) and just now getting the text that my car has arrived. The service providers are kind, and I've never had any issues, but the length of service has been a big problem especially when I have my children with me, or when I have a babysitter waiting! read more

I have a 2024 Kia telluride and it has had multiple issues some not the dealers fault they had a recall for door trim falling. I brought my car to this dealer to get the trim fixed and it appeared to be fixed until 2 days later the driver door trim fell off and passenger door trim as well. we repeated this process 4times still waiting on results if it's going to fall off again. secondly the seat trim that holds all the seat controls has fallen off 2 times on the driver seat and on the passenger seat. and their idea of a repair is push it back in place then 2 days later it falls off. I purchased a used 2017 Subaru Outback in 2022 from Lou Sobh Kia in Cumming. I also bought an extended warranty. In July of 2025, I was in an accident, and the car was totaled. I called the insurance company with which I had my policy and was informed that I was due a partial refund on the policy. The insurance company sent me a form to complete in order to request a refund from the dealership. After a month, I called the dealership to find out the status of the refund. I left three voicemail messages for the finance department, but they never returned any of the calls. I then received a call from Tim Tyler, who informed me that the person who sold me the warranty no longer worked there, and in the process, the request was lost. He asked me to send him the notice from Progressive stating that the car was a total loss. I did as he asked, and he sent the refund to me the same day. I was blown away. He was highly professional, kind, and understanding. A refund from a car dealership? I believe that is rare. Most of the time, the dealership keeps the money, and you never get it back. The Subaru I bought from them was excellent, and I do miss it very much. The sale of the car and its condition were excellent. I started going to Lou Sobh about 4 years ago. They had four and a half stars, and I when I saw that I started going. I had 3 others closer to me but one I went to and wasn't happy and the other 2 had 2 maybe 2 and half Stars, but when I saw over 4 I started driving from Lawrenceville to Cummings to get an oil change and tires done. They were wonderful. March last year they seemed a bit different but couldn't figure it out, but can have a bad experience. But the next 2 were not great either. My brake light bulb keeps going out and has been while under warranty. They would charge a decent amount to put it in. I found out this last time that it needed to be repaired, and just to put one light bulb in would be 85 dollars and to repair it it would be about 300 dollars (they both go out when it gets cold) Why didn't they tell me before. oh well, I will not be going back. I think it has either been sold or under new management. Wish I could delete a former 5 star rating. read more

I have been driving 30 miles or more each way even though my KIA is well out of warranty as this was the ONLY KIA that was any good. Now their pricing is through the roof and I will give them up too. A simple oil change today cost $141.19 WITH A 10$ OFF COUPON. They charge for rotating tires which was not even talked about and I have that FREE at Costco. It took about 3 hours too. $62.10 IN Labor and $73.65 IN PARTS. Hmmm? The bill says complimentary multipoint inspection. All I said was oil change on the phone and on drop off. Yes it does use synthetic oil but still this is a lot. Its not worth losing the majority of a day, driving over 60 miles round trip to be then fleeced. I have old receipts and this charge was a big step up. I have been bringing it in since 2017. It came off this lot new in 2017. But its time to say GOODBYE! I can get a full synthetic at loads of places for about 1/3 the price. I know the other KIA dealers are the same or worse. I still love my KIA and it still drives perfect at over 83,000 miles. I just feel Im getting fleeced here. Yelp should break up sales and service because the better scores for service, and I dont doubt they are better there, cover up the less desirable issues in Service. read more

I want to say thank you to Robert For helping my family get into a brand new 2021 kia telluride. This purchase means a lot to me because not only is it a vehicle that will trusted with transporting my family on road trips but also because it's for my wife who works really hard. She went back to school 2 times for her masters and a specialist in order to move up in the school system. We have had kias in the past so know the value of we are getting when it comes to features and warranty. We almost didn't get this car to be honest with you. Once he gave us some numbers, it ended up be little higher than we wanted to spend but Robert understood what our family's needs where and instead of turning around and moving on, he offered to help us find another telluride that might fit our budget better. During the whole process of dealing with him, I never felt I was wasting his time. Long story short, we didn't need to find another telluride because we ended up getting the one he showed us. He helped get us get a really great deal and even though it was a little higher than what we originally budgeted, it was still a great value at the end. We spend a lot of time on the road as a family so paying more for extra features and a bigger vehicle made it a no brained to justify the price. We traded in our Kia Sorento that at this point we just put grew as a family. I really appreciate the work you do Robert and I hope I can send more business your way. If you guys end up with a used kia stinger g2 in white, ill drive the 70 miles again to make that purchase. Avoid at all costs--This place is so sketchy! I test drove a supposed "Certified Pre-Owned" car. There were parts of the car missing!.... How is this a Certified Pre-Owned car?!? The salesperson (Kahlil) then claimed the parts were on order, but the sticker says it's already been checked off and cleared as a CPO vehicle. I decided to still explore the options for the vehicle, even though there are red flags up all over the place, so I ask to get an out-the -door price. Hilarity ensued. They added a document fee, electronic title upload fee, and then they have the audacity... THE AUDACITY... to add a $2k fee for the Certified Pre-Owned certificate. She then states that you can pay the fee to have the CPO certificate, warranty and service, or not. Excuse me?!? #1, you advertised it as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, which is on the sticker. #2 You advertise that the Certified Pre-Owned warranty and service are included in the price. Laughable! People, please know that Georgia requires all fees (except tax, title, and registration, and any optional items YOU choose to purchase) to be included in the final sticker price. And, for the love of all things good, you don't have to pay an extra fee for CPO certification, warranty and service (it's already included in the price). I told them to get real, knock the fees off, and give me a legit price, which they did (except for one fee, which at this point, I didn't care any more). The sales person then tells me "since we did you a favor not charging for the certification, you're going to be signing today?" Ya'll, it took everything in me not to laugh in her face. No. You did me no favors, and no, I am not purchasing from you today. I told them I'd think about it and balled up the quote while I walked out. Extremely dissapointed with the dealer. It seems like they are taking advantage of people with ridiculous $5k to $10k markups with crazy fees. Supply for new cars has become streamlined and they seem to only markup EVs and not other cars. Its extremly sad to see. Not only this they gave me $6k below my current car value (Kelly Blue Book). I recently bought a set of tires from Lou Sobh Kia, Cummings, GA location and it was a bad experience. The service tech left the glue where he installed the tires on each of them, but more so the right back tire to include the rim. The tech took the stem covers off the tires and did not put them back on; when I brought the matter to the services tech's attention, he stated that we had no covers on the tires. Really!? You mean I don't know what I had on my car before bringing it to your company? When I complained to the service manager about the glue (because it was so bad on the right back tire that the rim looked damaged), his name was Phil (I don't know if he provided his true name) and said that I would be returning to the service center to discuss my tire, he was conveniently not available. I was told that he had "stepped away from his desk" even though I told him that I was on my way back to the service department. The service tech "washed the tires off" (i.e., ran water on each tire without scrubbing), but some of the glue still remained. Normally, after I have my car serviced at this location, I would receive a follow-up call to see how things went...guess what? No follow-up call this time. Was that because I complained? I don't plan to use them in the future. Spending over $1,000 for merchandise should come with people who respect and value you as a customer. This location apparently doesn't find these attributes worth their time, so I don't feel that they are worth my money. I suggest that you take your business some where else. read more

I made an online appointment to get my Engine Oil/Filter changed, have a Software Recall done and have my brakes looked at. I showed up to the dealership about 2 hours early and explained the service requests to the CSR (Customer Service Representative). I told her that we are new to the general area (25 miles radius) and looking for a good Kia dealership (already been Highly Disappointed by 1 Rick Case Kia & 2 Rick Case Hyundai Dealerships), so this is their time to shine. I asked about how long all of the services would take. She said the oil change should take about 45-60 minutes and another hour or two for the brakes and Recall. She said I was early, but would try to get it in early. I was very appreciative. She called about 2 hours later saying it was ready, but the brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. She quoted a price that seemed very high, so I told her I would pass on that right now. I told her I would pick the car up that night or in the morning. I came in the next morning to pick my car up. I had to find a ride since I had a flat on my bike tire. I walked into the Service Dept and the only person there was a man in a black button down shirt with the Lou Sobh name on it. He asked if anyone had helped me and I told no - I just need to pick my car up. He asked who helped me and I said Stefany. He went over and picked up the ticket and said it looks like you just had some Recall work done. I said And an Oil/Filter change and I asked when they stopped turning/resurfacing rotors. He said they do it there in house and was not sure why they would not have done that first. Stefany walked over at that point and said that I did not have one scheduled and can show me the rust on the rotors. I had to walk her through the conversation that we had when I dropped it and then she agreed the oil/filter service was on the schedule. I am floored at this point that they did not do a simple oil/filter change. I explained to the man in a black button down shirt (turns out to be the Service Manager) that I had even talked with Stefany about my importance for a good experience. He offered to change the oil while I waited, but at this point I do not trust them with that simple service (no way to prove they actually did the Recall work). After I said that I will not be coming back and that this Dealership and Lou Sobh and going to make sure that my experience was put out for others to see how their Service Department is (so he knows it is coming) - he offered to eat the cost of the oil/filter service and give it to me for free. I told him that there is no way that Dealership would touch my car and left. I would not trust them to work on the flat tire on my bicycle - AVOID this place if at all possible! read more

I walked in pre-approved with CapitolOne and the finance team took it upon themselves to run my credit with 4 different banks without my permission. We also specified over and over that we DID NOT want their overpriced oil change package, they even joked about it with us ... noticed the next day in the paper work they slipped it in for an extra $699. I sent the dealership my information to schedule a test drive today. I immediately get a reply from sales rep Andie Peek. In the inquiry it states what car I wanted to test drive so when I called before driving over an hour to there she says what kind of car is it you want to test drive. Oh let me call you back to see if it's available. 10 minutes later she text back stating the car is unavailable and I can come look at other cars. Now I've already done the leg work and know they have plenty of cars so her wording didn't sound right so I called her and asked was the car sold and she said no it was in the shop and would be ready in a few weeks. Ok so why not tell me that up front and why do you have the car listed on the website to be sold and it's not ready for even a test drive. What if I drove from New York or anywhere only to find this information out. So needless to say Andie Peek hung up on me and said she would give my paperwork to a co worker so I called back and spoke to a Supposedly Supervisor name Chad who was on Andie side from the beginning. Asked for an oil change and full inpsection before a 2.5k mile road trip. Left the service area with a wiggle to the wheel. 4 plus hours into our road trip and the wiggle was noticeably worse. Pull over to find 4 out of 5 lug nuts on my driver side front tire, were not torqued down and half way up the threads. Put my family at huge risk driving at highway speeds. Just to start, we've purchased cars from this dealership in the past so have had a reasonable history with them (sales and service). In the past year or so, things have gone way downhill. I no longer enjoy going there for any service issues (I wish Dave never left, he was the best tech that you had there!) but it is the closest and most convenient. Anyways, we went in a couple of days ago to purchase a new car. They were running a 0% on 2019 Kia Niro vehicles as well as some others. This honestly would have been the easiest sale ever. We knew exactly what we wanted. We dealt with Sean G as our sales consultant. He flat out told us that they had no 2019 Niro's anywhere in GA and that the only ones they had at their dealership were the EV (which is considerably more expensive). We test drove a Seltos, it was alright but when it came down to numbers, we weren't quite where we wanted to be. To my surprise, Sean did no negotiating and told us "well, that's the best we can do". It honestly felt like we were bothering him and that he didn't want us there. I get home and search online for a 2019 Niro on Kia's website. A quick search and I found a dealership who had a ton of them in stock that was roughly 30 miles from my house. Long story short, we ended up buying a car from them instead of Lou Sobh. The salespeople were head and shoulders above what I experienced at Lou Sobh. I get that it's not right next door, but Sean did absolutely nothing to try to get us a car. He said that in Georgia there was no way we were going to find a 2019 Niro with the trim that we wanted. Within 2 minutes of searching online, I was able to find exactly what I wanted. I could be wrong but I would have figured that all dealerships would work together to put the customer first. That's exactly the opposite of what happened at Lou Sobh Kia. read more

Horrible service! We spent 6 hours waiting for a repair on a running light issue. It just began staying on. It took 3 hours for the tech to try checking/changing the bulb, only to learn this was not the issue. 3 hours later they blamed a trailer hitch that has been on the vehicle for two years without any problems. These folks do not seem to have any expertise in the electrical system, charging $165 to "diagnose". What a joke. Of course, there is NO consideration for the time wasted on our behalf. read more

If I could give this dealership negative 5 stars I would. I bought a used car here I expressed repeatedly to my salesman Chris how I've been burned before by a dealership who promised me it was a great car and it passed their 5 point inspection than it stopped working after 5 months of owning it. Chris reassured me that if anything crazy happens within a short period of time they will check it out and make it right. Within the first 2 weeks the check engine light comes on. I take it to auto-zone to get the code checked and it comes up as a catalytic converter problem. If you know anything about that it's a very expensive fix. I'm told to bring it in and all they did was turn the check engine light off and I was told to bring it back if the light came back on(I also live an hour and a half away from Cumming) the light came back on the next day and I contacted Chris again and be never responded to me. What a joke a check engine light after 2 WEEKS???? And they did not even keep their word. I also was opposed to getting a 2 year warranty but it was expressed to me that it is important I ended up getting it and I was told at the end of the process that the warranty I purchased covers all mechanical issues and digital issues the car may get over a span of 2 years. I take the car to a different dealership to get the catalytic converter fixed just to be told that it is not covered under the warranty I was told to purchase... What is with all the lies and shady-ness from this dealership??? Also one of my questions about my warranty was how are other dealerships going to be able to find my warranty when I need to use it and it was stated to me that every dealership works off of the same system and they will be able to pull up anyone's warranty. That was false as well. The dealership I took it to had to call Kia and get my warranty company's information. Why would you not want to have a reputable reputation? I will not be recommending anyone to the Lou Sobh Kia dealership in Cumming GA and I will be putting the word out to anyone and everyone looking for a car to not come here unless you're looking to be screwed over. Horrible customer service on Sales department. They are worse than corner dealer. They would not honor the American Express true car deal saying that's the last car they got. When I said i will share my experience online he tear down the paper and walked over me. Super rude. Can't believe they let such unprofessional people work there. The first time we visited the dealership was to purchase new vehicle. We had a 2012 Optima that we wanted to trade in on a 2016 Optima. The sales manager grossly undervalued our trade-in during the purchase process. When we disputed the amount, he claimed it was a mistake and came back with a $2600.00 adjustment (or thereabouts). At the time, we didn't think much of that, but in retrospect it seems consistent with the overall climate we have experienced at the dealership since that time. Our next issue came when we had to have a broken side window repaired. The window had a crack but was otherwise intact. Our Optima has laminated glass on the side windows. Laminated glass is easily identified by its appearance and should be easily identified by its stock number as well. I made the appointment to have the window fixed via telephone and asked the person on the phone to verify whether or not we had the laminated glass for the replacement. He assured me that the technician would not replace one type with the other. After the vehicle was repaired, he again verified that the same glass that came out of the car went back in as a replacement. When I took the car to have the window tinted, I realized that the replacement glass was tempered and not laminated. We filed a complaint and the service manager fixed the problem and paid for the re-tint. However, when we picked up the car from the second repair, the door lock didn't work and the car had to be taken back for a third time. Our third issue occurred in Feb 2018 when I was shopping for nice used car to have as a third vehicle. I found the vehicle that I wanted at the pre-owned lot. It was a 2015 Ford Focus. The price on the car was $9980. I told the salesman that I was ready to buy the car and offered $10,500 as a total, drive-out price. The sales manager told me, via the salesman, that the car was already priced below what Lou Sobh paid for the car. You can't sell cars for less than what you paid for them and no one does that. In addition, no one would advertise a vehicle for sale at less than what they paid for it. I raised my offer by another $500 and he still insisted that it was already priced at less than what they paid for it and $11,500 was the lowest they could go. I went to Forsyth Imports on Peachtree Parkway the following morning and purchased a 2014 Toyota. While I was driving off in my new car, the salesman called me to say that the sales manager had made a mistake and they could sell the car at the price I offered. I don't have a problem with price negotiation but I do have a problem when someone lies to my face, particularly when we both know that they are doing it. Our next issue came on March 6th when my wife had a 3:30 appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. She checked the car in at 3:10 and waited 2 hours for them to finish the work. This was a one-hour job and no one bothered to check on her or to tell her why things were taking so long. When she brought the car home, she noticed that the front, driver-side tire had lower pressure than the other three. I had put a plug in that tire about five days earlier when we found a screw in the tread. When I looked, the plug was in the same spot on that tire, meaning that the tires were never rotated. Once again we complained and the problem was promptly fixed, but the problem I have now is that there is a distinct pattern of dishonesty and/or extreme incompetence at Lou Sobh Kia. If they said that they rotated the tires but obviously didn't, it leads me to question whether or not they actually did the other work that I paid for. The fact that we have had similar experiences on multiple occasions in new car sales, used car sales, and in the service department suggests that the prevailing culture at this dealership is not conducive to a honest, customer-oriented environment. The climate at this dealership seems subtly passive-aggressive where taking advantage of the customer seems to be the priority. Our last experience occurred on December 6, 2018. After getting an oil change, my wife received an email from the service writer asking her to lie in a survey in order to get him some extra points. He asked her if she would say that they had picked up the car at our home or work. (She took the car to them and waited for the oil change). We will never recommend that anyone go to Lou Sobh Kia for any reason. We like Kia products very much. However, I must say that despite the quality of the Kia family of products, we will not be considering Kia products in our next purchase (which actually will be in the next few days), specifically due to our experience with this dealership. If I can't trust the dealership and its personnel, it doesn't matter how much I like the product, I will not be a customer. I will also advise my friends and family accordingly. read more
