I booked a 60 minute deep tissue massage and couldn't be happier with the result. My target areas feel a lot better as Amelia took the time to concentrate on them, but that doesn't mean that she skimped out on the rest of my body - she did my entire body and paid special attention to what I asked for. The space is very nice and clean. The atmosphere is relaxing: comfortable darkness, soft music, heated bed. After the massage she offered me some water and I was also able to use the bathroom on the same floor. Overall, it was a great experience and I hope to be back again.

This place is a hidden gem in Chicago. Though it's not luxurious, it's very clean, relaxing and the massages are so good & relaxing that it had me falling asleep. If you're looking for a really good massage and don't care about it being at a fancy spa, this is the place for you.

I've come here a few times and had a decent experience, however, today I was pretty disappointed in…read moremy experience. There are several rooms, and I was placed in one similar to one that I've been placed in for a couples massage with my boyfriend. Probably 15 minutes into my massage I heard more people enter the room I was in. My head was down so the uncertainty of who was coming into the room made me nervous due to the exposure with a massage. I soon came to learn that I was paired up with an older man (was certain of this since I was constantly hearing his deep breathing). They did pull out a divider between us, however, there's a chance that the man saw me on my table since there is only one door for entering room. Being a younger female, this experience really made me feel uncomfortable. It was a Thursday at 10:30am so this placement could have been prevented. I don't like to leave lower reviews, however, I wanted to share this to prevent these type of placements in the future.

While this is not a relaxing massage, but more of a releasing massage/therapy treatment, I would for sure go back. All the staff is amazing. I had Andrew, and he was very good, knowledgeable, and professional. I recommend anyone with TMJ disorders or pain, receive this treatment. I only basically had half a treatment, and it made a great impact with much less pain. I definitely need to make another appointment soon. My only issue is that because of Lupus/RA, and pulmonary fibrosis, I get sick frequently, and unfortunately have to cancel plans. This place is a must see/must try for people with acute and chronic pain. I cannot say enough great things about Massage Bliss!

I'm not one to give poor reviews, it has to be a pretty disappointing experience for me to give…read moreless than three stars. And the only reason Windy City Massage is getting two stars instead of one is because my masseuse was very kind. I'll start by sharing that me and friends stayed at the Kimpton Gray and knew we wanted to get massages during our stay. When we arrived, the front desk staff told us that Windy City Massage was an in-house spa and when we asked how to make an appointment she said very clearly, "they aren't associated with the Kimpton Gray, you can contact them directly for an appointment and more information." We should've taken that as a sign. The website is a little sketch, you have to pay when you book so we decided to call and leave a voicemail. When they called back, we scheduled for the next morning at 8am. Since it was a massage, we were fine with the early morning. When we arrived, the room was a large event space with a reception table and chair, and a few worn chairs and coffee table. There were two massage rooms off of the larger room so we assumed that's where the massage would take place. When the masseuses came out for us, they were super kind. We asked about the free upgrade with the Yelp check in and they said the only two available were foot or scalp massage so we each chose one. To make a long review short, the massage experience was not great. The acoustics were horrible so I could hear everything happening in the waiting area while in my massage. The massage was very basic; the foot massage "upgrade" was included in the 50 minutes versus the additional 20 minutes advertised; the music was playing from a cell phone; there was no carpet so the chair that the masseuse used was loudly dragged across the floor several times. Overall it was not at all a good or relaxing experience and not worth the cost. The Kimpton should to be associated with this business.

With any other place, I usually can't find a same-day appointment at the right price point - so then I simply don't get a massage :( Not the case with Resonance! I've seen Richard, Erin, and Corinne here - everyone has been fantastic. Today, my gf told me that she was getting a massage (different place, not in Chi) and I was super envious and frustrated with myself because this awesome place (Resonance) is like a block away and I've been dealing with neck pain for like 2-3 weeks. Like why didn't I book an appointment sooner? Anyway, I figured I'd see if they could fit me in today. At around 2:30pm I booked a 5:30pm hour-long session with Corinne and I just got home and I feel SO much better. Like it's a night and day difference, the massage was arguably one of the best I've ever had and I didn't have to go through the process of changing out of clothes and all that to get the pain relief I had been seeking! Super reasonable price for outstanding results. Thanks, Corinne and team. I will be back!
