The florals at our wedding had everyone oohing and aahing from the moment they walked in. The mandap was truly something out of a dream. Walking down the aisle and seeing it for the first time is a moment I will never forget. It was absolutely breathtaking. I threw so many random details and inspiration photos her way, and somehow she took all of it and turned it into a cohesive, stunning color palette that felt effortless and intentional. One detail that stood out most were the orchids. In the lead-up to the wedding, Jessica actually texted me asking if I liked the flower, and the gorgeous pink-and-purple spotted orchids she ended up weaving throughout the design became one of my absolute favorites. That flower will forever remind me of my wedding day. But my favorite detail has to be the guest trees that held our seating place cards. They were probably the idea I was most excited about. I had this whimsical vision of a tree where guests could pick up their escort cards, shared through one inspiration photo and a lot of me rambling, and Jessica just got it. For the evening reception, she didn't just bring the idea to life, she elevated it into two breathtaking cascading trees that were accessible from every side. It was even more beautiful than anything I had imagined and truly felt like a centerpiece of the entire experience. They were organized, responsive, and made the entire process feel easy and calm, which is no small feat during wedding planning. She sent over lots of pictures and ideas throughout the process to check in and make sure she was on the right track. She also helped us ensure that other design elements (table linens, dishes, wedding signs) would work with the flowers. The floral design was stunning. The installation on the mulberry tree was absolutely gorgeous. All of the bouquets, centerpieces, and flowers were true masterpieces. Jessica is incredible and Anemone is the best!!

Spotted this new plant shop in the neighborhood and just had to stop in!…read more Lynn, the owner, kindly took the time to walk me through her selection and guide me to the right decision for a low-light plant for my bedroom. The selection is stellar and I think they have something for everyone! Plus, their pretty pottery, books, and other accessories mean you can walk out with a cute plant AND a cute home for it. They're closed Sunday-Tuesday, so just make sure to check the hours before dropping by. They also seem to have a robust website & post new plants there, so that's another option if you're not comfortable with in-person shopping. As for covid, only 3 shoppers are allowed in at any time, masks must be worn at all times, hand sanitizer is provided at the door, and you can only touch what you intend to purchase.
