I was greeted by two of the nicest gals Meghan and Carli who were totally excited that I was there to buy my wife a gift. The gals took me around the store and showed me a few options, then we came to a light blue summer dress that I thought my wife would look nice in and then they helped me in selecting the correct size for my wife. They also sell glasses, necklaces , sweaters, shawls , and all the things a gal would love. The next time we are in Grants Pass we will be stopping in to check out the selection they have to offer. This is one of my favorite antique stores to browse and shop at in downtown Grants Pass! It's quite…read moreorganized with little booths separating each part, I think it features the wares of different vendors this way. Some things are handmade and some are vintage, most are crafty. I've even found a cute plant for sale now and then. They have a whole section on scrap booking stuff, pottery, jewelry. The only thing I really dislike is the older lady that works there. She is so sour and looks at you with a frown at all times, I'm not sure if she's the owner or a worker bee, but either way, she is not good for business. Maybe be a little friendlier to the people coming into your shop to spend their money? I'm still leaving a good star rating because the selection itself in the store is nice (although some things are way too overpriced).

Crowded space filled with tawdry trinkets, that used to be elegant and open space from which to shop for well curated product. I don't think Bob is happy there, given his antisocial vibe and demeanor. Needless to say, I walked out, and bought some Birkenstocks at the shoe store nearby. I hope they can revive the store and bring back the good energy. I hope things improve.

An experience to ponder: yesterday I took my brother and his wife to wander around the shopping…read morearea of town. The person at the register said to a shopper, "why are you wearing a mask?" She replied that she wasn't vaxxed and was protecting herself and other shoppers. She was not snarky or pushy, just answered the question. The register lady sort of snort-laughed derisively and said ooooh, ooo-kaay. The shopper left without making a purchase, as did my little group. 1: why did the register person feel the need to accost the shopper? 2: They lost at least 4 purchases in that moment, and I won't be back if I see that lady at the register again. And then I wonder if it was the owner at the register? 3: shops complain about losing business, but if this is what's going on, then yeah, they're losing business. There were many interesting things I would have purchased, had it not been for this interaction.

I showed up 10 minutes before she was suppose to close but she treated me like we had all the time in the world.
