Super cool spot in a warehouse. Vast collection of figurines, especially Warhammer. Got to see people play at a few tables too. Also big selection of MTG. The people working there today around late afternoon were very informative and helpful. Extra shout out to the gentlemen who recommended my girlfriend and I to try the Lost Caverns Ixalan for drafting. We liked the art and dinosaur theme in the set and pulled a pretty good card too! read more

Love this store, I'm primarily into magic the gathering and dnd. I usually stop by once every few weeks to pick up singles and this place has quickly become one of my go to for doing that. They have a good selection of cards and it's pretty rare that they don't have a card in stock. For reference I primarily buy more popular edh cards in the 2$ and up range. The pricing is fair and the cards are in good condition. Service is quick, I really have nothing to complain about. The atmosphere here is good and the people are nice. I can't speak much to the tabletop and board games section but there is a lot of stuff there covering all sorts of games. It's worth stopping by read more

An amazing little store. The staff were patient, very knowledgeable, and welcoming. They were very helpful in finding the magic singles my sister and I were looking for. They have a vast inventory of singles, all you need to do is let them know what you are looking for and they will get them for you. They consult TCGplayer for prices. I am excited to visit again for my MTG and D&D needs. Don't forget to join their discord before you leave with your goodies! read more

If you come at night and it's your first time, trust your GPS! This shop is a gem and tucked away into an industrial plaza corner and jam-packed with products and great staff. I came here with my girlfriend towards the evening on a complete whim while we were in the area. We were looking for a card shop to buy Pokemon cards and found this one and decided to give it a shot. When we first pulled up, we were anxious because it seemed like a semi-industrial area with no signage or anything. We drove through the lot (in the evening so it was dark) until we saw a big warehouse garage door opened with lights illuminating the area and we figured it was probably the right place. We were greeted by Aiden, who was incredibly friendly and helpful! We told him we just got into the hobby and that we were looking for advice on where to start and what to look out for. Aiden was super helpful, resourceful and respectful throughout the entire process. If there's one reason to come back to this shop, it would be because he left such a positive impact! We were informed that the shop doesn't usually have a lot of Pokemon players but they do sometimes get stock, and usually Pokemon collectors would come by just to buy and rip packs. Totally fine with us! Means more potential product in our hands, lol. Overall, this seemed like a nice shop with a growing community. The staff are helpful and the selection seemed like just the right amount. We will definitely be back soon! read more

If you're looking for that authentic, old school feel of a game shoppe, this is the place to go. Mike is awesome, kind, and gives every person his full attention. He goes the extra mile to help you find that quest item, hell he even finds side-quest items, you didn't known you wanted. read more

I stopped by the other day to see if they had any TCG I could pick up and had a lovely chat with one of the workers. He was kind, welcoming, and very courteous. He helped me place a "pre-order" for an upcoming TCG release. While there is no official pre-orders, he keeps an excel sheet with a list of names that he says he'd reach out to if they have stock of what you were interested in! No shade to all the other card shops around, but with so many popping up, they have a sort of "exclusive" vibe to them, but not here. I highly encourage folks to stop by and check out their stuff. They have lots of table top games and accessories, so if that's your jam, stop by here! read more

My husband has lots of board games and I looked up shops on yelp and this one came up. On the way there, it is a quiet residential neighborhood and then industrial warehouses. Lost Planet Games is located in the back Suite #511. Kind, courteous, and knowledgeable folks work there. There have plenty of board games and if there isn't a game they carry, they can order for you. They have some tables and chairs where if you call ahead of time they can reserve the table for you and a few others to play your board game. They have supplies if you are painting your figurines at a table. You would have to call ahead if you plan to do that. My husband purchased about 3 games today. At the counter, they have their "People Love Us on Yelp 2023 sticker." I forgot to photograph it but, will do it next time. It's a great game and hobby shop. We are definitely supporting this local biz! read more

Awesome environment, a huge selection for any tabletop game you want, and a friendly and helpful staff. I went in to start breaking into the world of MtG and they helped me narrow down my play style and find a deck for me, then told me about the games they run there weekly. I will for sure be going back to buy and play. read more

These guys are amazing!!! A longer review to follow as I get the names of the guys who have been helping me.

Came by on a whim when I was in the area. Tons of awesome warpainting and miniatures type of stuff. Cool memorabilia and decorations everywhere. The whole back of the store was filled with people painting and playing. The owner greeted me and was beyond friendly and helpful. I picked up a couple packs of pokemon and was pleased to see they had boxes of the few latest releases. Really great environment. I would definitely hang out here if I lived in the area and was into this type of gaming. read more

Mike was SUPER helpful and knowledgeable. Really helped me get my start with 40k and made me feel super welcome!

LOVE this place. Visited on my lunch break in the middle of the day and no one was there except the staff and they were so chill and helpful. Granted they didn't carry anything I was looking for but that's fine cause it's a dead game now lol (X-Wing and Armada). Wish I had a friend group who loved different board games cause this place looks and feels like such a good place to hangout and play some games. Just can't get over how welcoming the staff was though, great people. read more

Mike is stellar. Always feel welcomed here and the vibe is terrific...fun movies playing, a tabletop gaming unfolding, you name it. A gem in South Bay! read more

Mike is the man!! I let him years ago and he remembered me after changing locations! Great location and selection of all kinds of gaming nerd needs!! Definitely recommend this place to my friends! read more

Skip all the other stores and shop here. Every member of the staff is amazing and super helpful. The community is friendly, fun and it's a great time just walking inside to see what other people are playing or working on. They have the best selection of paints and miniatures I have ever seen and they stay open late often with a movie running in the background. It's nerd heaven. I recently got into Dungeons and Dragons and was having trouble finding a store where I could go and get some guidance. I came here under the recommendation of my friends I play with and I wish I could take back all the money I spent at other stores and give it to them. Immediately upon walking in Mike said hi and asked what I was looking for or what I was into. He has since helped me in put together a pretty killer arsenal of painting and miniatures. Support this shop. read more

My boyfriend and I were a little confused looking for the location. If you see the "NTI" sign, then you are in the right place. Walking in the owner, Mike is extremely friendly and welcoming! He introduced himself and asked us for our names. He asked us what we were looking for and we told him board games. He showed us the direction of the board games. As I was browsing, some games caught my eye. I looked at the game "Ramen Fury". Mike said that one of his employees, Matt, who was present at the time has the game with him and is willing to play a round with me. This is really nice. Not a lot of places would offer this. Overall, it is an excellent place to come to buy some board games. There are also multiple game tables for customers to hang out. Very friendly environment will be back! read more

Mike who owns and runs this place is a really cool guy and at the same time a no BS guy and he'll let you know this too. It kinda funny to hear him talk about various products he thinks are garbage and tell customers this. Some tables primary for war gaming, it's a small place in the middle of a warehouse district. I have him special order stuff for me to support him even though I live 40m away. read more

A great hobby store for any new, old, or returning war gamer or hobbyist. Mike and his crew are always good people to talk to and will you give you a wide array of helpful advice on army/deck building and model painting whenever you stop in. I walked into Lost Planet Games on a whim, just to check it out. Tabletop shops can be intimidating, especially since I don't frequent them often, but the owner was incredibly kind. We had a great conversation about tabletop gaming, and he was incredibly knowledgeable without being stuffy. It was worth the trip inside, if only to see the painted figures. The owner said that they hold figure painting contests with prizes and put the winners on display. Very cool. It's a shame they were sold out of t-shirts in my size, or I'd be wearing a Lost Planet Games shirt now! read more

So on our way to dinner, hubby takes a quick detour to a new gaming store that I didn't even know existed, but just recently opened. Pretty decent sized space with not only Warhammer items but other games as well like Flames of War and Dungeons & Dragons. Already busy with regulars coming in to play at the many gaming tables and hobbying tables. We also talked to the owner, who wanted to bring a gaming store into his home community and support the network of gamers who live here. Glad to support this local business bringing gaming back into the South Bay since Third Planet closed. read more

Stopped by here with my buddy on the weekend for Free RPG Day 2020. We missed it by a day and came in on Sunday. We called first to check and the owner, Mike, was super awesome and friendly. It took us a minute to find the place but once we did, we were super happy and impressed. Mike was great and welcomed us to his place. We felt comfortable and it was great seeing the place with people playing games. It's nice to have a local game spot in the South Bay and super close to where we live. They have a good selection and great parking. The business center where it's located is empty on the weekends, so its super easy to stop by here. My buddy and I had a great time chatting about RPGs and 5e. Mike is super knowledgeable and very open to helping you out - willing to order anything you don't have. I will definitely be back and look forward to making this my local spot. read more

I am new to the hobby and table top gaming world but I always wanted to try my hand at miniature painting and Warhammer. I stumbled upon Lost planet through a yelp search and decided to check it out. I couldn't be more happier with the staff, customers, and selection that Lost planet has to Offer. The owner Mike is a stand up guy who has a serious passion for all things games ; if lost planet doesn't have what you're looking for in their inventory then he's gonna do his best to order it for you. I also appreciate how everyone in there is friendly about the hobby and are thriller to welcome a new person to the hobby; there is a discord server to help you find someone to play with. Lastly If you were on the fence about getting into table top gaming or miniature painting then swing by Lost Planet it's a great place to foster a budding hobby. read more

A small shop with very knowledgeable staff. Lots of fun games outside of their specialty gracias

This place is fantastic! Came here after starting up a new D&D campaign with some friends and desperately needed new minis and paints among other things for my new players. Our local game shop in Long Beach is on indefinite hiatus so finding this shop not too far away was a godsend. The staff is friendly and helpful and was a terrific change of pace from what our experience has been in other game shops where you have to track staff down and convince them to help you like you're pulling teeth. But Mike (the owner) and his staff are always willing to help guide you to what you need and provide their experience in helping you with what you never knew you'd want. Can't recommend enough! Come support these terrific nerds read more
